I have been using a generic version of Carprofen and vet recommended a 100 mg tablet cut in half twice a day. It seems to have helped my pup but the cutting in half is not working as the tablets crumble.. I do not seem to be able to find 50mg tablets what do I do?

I had my dog on Carprofen. She developed neurological problems and lost her hair. A lot of dogs have died from this medication. I didn’t know and the vet never told me.
