Do you know where I can buy spare propellers for this xwing? Is there a particular manufacturer or model #?
I don't believe they sell spare props specifically for this model. You could try your luck and see if maybe Hubsan X4 props work.

would you happen to know where to get replacement propellers for these, perhaps a knock off version that might work?
I am not sure, but Hubsan X4 props may work. They even have clear props for the X4, so it would be interesting to know if those work with this quad.

I would think that two X-Wings can shoot each other, but I'm not certain on that.

i think its a chinsee cheap version of something that should be made like wifi drones with gps type stuff. but the death star and x wing lazer tag game is a genius idea, which is why i say that it shoukd be built more solid larger and not so much of a kids toy, it looks to me like the 1st old airhogs and mall helicopters.. looked cool, looked easy to control. but hit a wall just a lil to fast and kaputski! . just an opinion man! i cant lie at all....id still would buy one just for the game100% haha! but i really hope the big hobby guys build a big death star like that one.. but uses lazer pointers as weapons so that you can see your and their shots!

Have you replaced the props at any point? If so, it sounds like you probably put them back on in the wrong positions. I discuss that mistake in more detail in this video: ua-cam.com/video/N4qJNgV0DGI/v-deo.html

They sell a TIE Fighter separately, which can fight the X-Wing. ;) See my review of it. The Death Star makes more sense for single-player though.
My X-Wing barely comes off the ground and just flies backwards and flips over. I checked and the propellers are on right but two propellers start and stop spinning earlier than the other two. Do you know what happened?
Maybe the props are pushed down too hard and dragging against the top of the motor? Otherwise, those motors may be dying.

If you pull on them, they will lift up. Just be careful not to bend them.
Thats pretty cool. Have you seen the Star Wars quads fromPropel? They are pretty cool. I don't think they are out yet, but they look very nice.
Yeah, I have my eye on those for sure. They won't be allowed to be sold in the US, so I'm going to have to find a source in the UK to score them for me. :)

Steady Licensing issues. From what I hear, it might be that Air Hogs has an exclusive deal with Disney for selling Star Wars RCs in the US.

How fixable are they, I just got this for Christmas and crashed the x-wing a few time and now I seems to have a bent motor shaft on one of the motors, it's making a buzzing noise and vibrates all the time, I can see the blade is wobbling, tried a new spare prop and that didn't help it's the motor shaft. Love you channel by the way I have spent so much buying RC's you have shown :)
Air Hogs aren't really designed to be fixed, and they don't sell spare parts, so you would have to find a motor online somewhere, and probably do some soldering in order to replace the motor.

how do you replace a rotor blade
Just pull off the bad one (or pry it off from below), and be sure to use a replacement that has the same blade angles as the one you are replacing.
Funny how the death star is this huge space station and there's this little fighter flying around it so week and still your being it to hit you

I don't think you can manually calibrate this one (unless I said otherwise in my review... I forget now). Just make sure it's on a flat level surface when you turn it on and bind it to the controller. What exactly do you mean by it goes crazy?

These use infrared control, which does not work in sunlight. These are meant for indoor use only.
