Just found one that someone had given me as a gift. This thing was and is so unstable. Broke so many props. On launch it just rocketed upwards.

Jodi Lynn actually, it Fly's it direct goes straight up, down side to side, unfortunately it doesn't flip anyways like From Tim Burton movie Batman 1989 with Jack Nicholson, Michael Keaton, and Kim Basinger. That plane where Batman Flies through Gotham during Jokers parade then Later on Joker gun pointed to the Batwing, in front of Gotham Chatedral Church But then Jokers men Tries to Attacked Batman, then the Batman told Joker that, Have you ever dance with the devil pale Moonlight, then punches back Joker response said You idiot you made me Remember you drop me vat of chemical don't think it over, don't think I didn't try, Batman said I know you did, punches 2x then Joker spits, Then again You Killed my parents, Joker reply What, then Batman again you made me and I made you first, Joker what are you talking about Batbrain I didn't kill your parents, you made me and I made you made me, how childish can you Do that, what about hit with the guy Glasses Huh!. CCxRC Whoa, you hadn't heard of them yet!? Yeah, they look amazing! And there is talk about maybe at least the Millennium Falcon being brushless, if not all of them. I've seen pics where it does appear that the MF is brushless, but I'm not sure I see it in the other models, unless they're doing some weird sort of gearing system. Anyway, since Air Hogs has the license for Star Wars RCs in America, Propel can't sell theirs in America. :( So we're gonna probably have to pay extra to get them on eBay, or something like that. I'm hoping to be able to get a viewer from the UK to buy them for me and ship them to me. :)

Great review you are right about it being a great flyer. I was surprised at the price I paid at Walgreens on clearance it was just 14.99 and I figured the quad was cool enough that even if it didn't fly well it was worth the novelty of being a flying bat wing. The pros and cons you noted were spot on. I seen them for 49.99 before Christmas and although I thought they were cool it just wasn't in my budget.I am going to keep mine in good flying shape and just take it out to fly on special occasions but it is awesome. I haven't lost any props yet but I was worried about that. I bought a second one because after I posted video to a few of the facebook groups there was plenty running to scoop one up while they had them in stock.I bought the second one as a gift for a fellow pilot :)

Thanks for doing this review, Ryan. I'd seen these for sale on a few websites and was curious if it was a decent little flyer or a POS. Good to know it surpassed your expectations, especially for mid/low-end toy quads. Did you get the camera version as well? I'm curious the video quality.
I thought I had ordered the camera version, for a steal from Kohl's.com, but it was just the non-camera version and their listing was wrong/misleading. :( I contacted them about the mistake (which reminds me to go check to see if they fixed it yet). So, I have not seen the camera version, but honestly I'd just avoid the extra weight and go with the non-camera version and just have fun flying it. :)

Ryan make sure your props pop in all the way. I just got one yesterday and found out you should feel a slight pop when pushing the blades in. I agree I hav3 more fun with this quad than the airhogs tie fighter which is way more expensive. can't wait for the propeller xwing and tie drones to come out.
The Propel Star Wars models will not be available for sale in the US, unfortunately. But I will be doing everything I can to get my hands on them one way or another. :)

Yep! Though I think that prop is stretched and will just keep coming off, so I replaced it with the spare. :)

Very Cool! I got a propel zip nano from Cosco and it is an awesome flyer also. I'm making a performance flight review on it. Great review! lights out..?... would have been cool to see it in the dark with the clear props.
Unfortunately it's just not very good in the dark, because of the LEDs being on the underside of the body. :(
awe,, I thought they might do a weird light show with the clear props.. Bummer :(

Yeah! That was my first thought... this is the same platform as the Star Wars quads, and it makes me want them even more now. This thing flies so nice! Still not sure about whether or not the Star Wars models actually have brushless motors though. The price difference between this and those is quite substantial, so that may point to the Star Wars models being brushless.

Yeah, their website does not look up to date at all. Probably been too busy/focused on the Star Wars quads, and the propelsw.com website.

Just bought one today for $14.99 at a Walgreen's, they had several marked down from $49. Faster but not as stable as the Propel micro-drones, not nearly the performance of the Spyder but if you can get it for $15...

I can't get mine to fly. Can you tell me how the A and B propellers are supposed to be placed on the bat wing?
Refer to the manual. It tells you which props go where.

propel get their demonstration in San Francisco about 2 days ago. I'm talking about the Star Wars quads. they said they will be out on released this Friday. they're looking at Bed Bath and Beyond and Best Buy being the one to carry them. I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and they said they had three thousand of them in their warehouse waiting to be shipped out.
Wait, what? In the US? Last I heard, Propel was not going to be allowed to sell them in the US...

I bought this for my son 4 years ago after I saw how well you demonstrated it and the propellors got thrown out accidentally with the plastic packaging so hes never gotten to use it . Could you PLEASE help me locate propellor spares that could help me get this batwing WB4015 drone up in the air 🙏 would universal propellors work???

I have a question: In this model you can connect the camera to the cell phone?
This doesn't even have a camera.
Unfortunately I'm spending more time trimming this thing then just flying it........I guess I need to go somewhere where I get it up in the air and trim it from there? What would you suggest? Do you have to trim the BVS AIIRHOG plane,or can you just go fly it?
You shouldn't need to trim it at all. The accelerometer should keep it pretty level... if you find that it constantly wants to drift to one direction, you might check to make sure the props aren't bent or heavily damaged.
it goes EVERYWHERE!.....the props seem to be fine,I've spent more time trimming it then just flying it...it's getting to be annoying
I'm thinking about getting the AIRHOGS Batwing from BVS that you reviewed...something that doesn't need trimming,I can just fly it

I have posted a link in the comments section a few times now. There are some clear Hubsan X4 props on Amazon that I think may work, but I'm not 100% sure, and no one has commented saying if they have tried them or not.
What batteries does the remote take??
My prop kept Comin off aswell but now after 2 days it snapped 😢 I need a replacement prop
Bought one of these a couple of weeks ago. Throttle seems to be either full throttle or idle.
If this is your first quad, then it's probably just a matter of experience, and it should get easier to manage the throttle with some practice.

Propel make some good stuff there a good uality make i loved mine i think it was a propel atom
my guess is the screwdrivers also for the battery case so that you can replace the battery in that case open up

Brenda Piercy follow the instructions on that sheet,flip it up side down and make sure it's a and b put it in the right order
the props are marked a and b and you have to put them on the right post.

I don't think anyone has found spare props that work yet. Hopefully Propel will start selling spares. You could try contacting them, to let them know you're interested.

You likely put the props on in the wrong positions. Refer to the manual for the proper placements. :)

the little transmitter has 4 buttons in the middle for trim (left/right/forward/reverse).

I heard he tied all his quads and helicopters together, bound them to one controller, taped them to a chair and flew away never to be seen again.
Why no outdoor flight ? Will there be an outdoor flight ?
I consider micro quads to be intended for indoor flying, so that is where I fly them. Plus, if I were to film this outdoors, you wouldn't be able to see it on camera for most of the time.
