For those who arent familiar with this great tool: using ventoy boot menu (F2: BROWSE) you can choose to boot into an iso file located in your pc's hard drive or SSD, too. So it's not necessary to copy the iso file to usb stick. This is a great tool really.

Thank you Brian (I briefly also appeared in your Discord group too - a few weeks ago), I finally solved my laptop's inability to install any MS updates the last couple of months - none of the usual fixes worked. The problem was quite possibly "reserved partition-related" but (for whatever reason) it was impossible to increase the size of this partition - even with 400GB of free space on my C drive.....
Maybe the problem was caused by an accumilation of bug-ridden MS updates...
I was so exasperated that I had loaded the installation media for Chrome OS Flex onto a USB - at the ready.
As a last resort I tried a Windows 10 reinstall (using one of your previous videos to understand the 4 or so options) and it cleared the problem and my Windows 10 OS now runs buttery-smooth - with the added benefits of finding it had migrated from 21H2 to 22H2 and that I could change the OS language from Russian to English (I have a special single-language version of Windows) - which I didn't think was possible.

Nice, I just ventoy all the time too store some iso is use, sometimes I use YUMI, cause YUMI can incorporate Ventoy as a sub loaded app, plus YUMI can run Kaspersky Av iso while ventoy can't.
Ventoy is the best. Other multiboot solutions were so lacking.

Another informative video thank you I am currently installing Medicat after seeing your video on that and if i'm correct that also use Ventoy one thing I am curious about is will I be able to add iso's to it once Medicat is installed on my USB.

@@Britec09 Looks like it is possible to add iso's to this i'm one very bunny and this toolkit is amazing thank you for brining it to my attention this will save me so much hassle when it comes to helping friends with thier PC issues and for me I throw lots of OS iso's on it and give them a look on my test PC even Linux distro's. you can also make a dir and put tools you want to run from inside the os but from the flash drive.
Weird issue. I purchased a used GTX 1070 for a Christmas gift for my son. Working and tested as it was written.
Problems ever since. I have installed many pc components and know the importance of drivers and removal before new install. As it sits, it powers up the monitor and all peripherals but the monitor doesn't display. It's lit up as though it's on and it looks like it's on but I can't see anything. Not even bios. Sucks to because he has a i5 9600k with no integrated graphics. So only dedicated gpu option for display. I think it's a bad card but I just had to hear it before I make the next move.
hi can you make a video on ventoy it can bypass system requirments of windows 11 through a plugin called (ventoy global control plugin) it can bypass windows 11 system requirments and it has also an option to bypass microsift account bypass but that doesn't work can you test and make a video?

@@Britec09 was thinking more of a menu inside the app, with the ability to either directly download to the usb drive, or link to websites. I've had other drive imagers that do this.
Can you boot Windows ISO using BIOS and UEFI with this at the same time? In Rufus you can select what type od bootable USB you want to create, BIOS or UEFI.

I'm trying to install XP on an older laptop so the kids can play games. I've had Windows 8, 10, and Linux on it. I will dual-boot it with Linux so they can go on the web with Linux. I deleted everything so I can install XP, getting a Stop error = STOP : 0X0000007B (0XF8D2524, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000).
I got it before, so I tried Vista and it installed. Decided to try again and deleted everything and took another stab and I got the error again. It seems to be an issue with the hard drive. Maybe even the driver. The laptop has an AMD APU E-300 and I got it in 2013. I wanted to go with XP so maybe the games of that error would play best with XP being the least resource intensive.
Can it be fix? Is it incompatible? Is there a workaround? What say you?

nothing like Rufus
Rufus allows you to make a USB flash drive bootable to only *one* ISO. Ventoy also allows you to make a USB flash drive bootable, but you can boot to *many* ISOs.
For all windows 32 and 64bits versions will probably need a 128GB usb flashdrive
Large drive is always recommended
@@Britec09 Would you help me with this brian, i got a hardrive of a client, he was using it inside a casing, whenever i plug on a pc it says error and the disks to be formatted and he really dont wana loose data, kindly make a video of how to fix this issue, or if you got a program for it. a .iso is a single file, but that is an image of a disc (CD/DVD...)

Ventoy is right up there with the best tools, I use it all the time it even works with secureboot once the cert is imported, my only niggle is the EFI is located at the end of the disk, which can cause issues if you require to shrink the main in order to create another partition for situations where you want to plug in only the one device as the partition that holds the clonezilla image is mounted read only so you cannot backup to it... knowing this I always use 2 devices if i need to use clonezilla to rip a full disk
What is this cert you are refering to? How do I get it and what do i do with it to get winpe to work without turning off secure boot in bios?

can u run the sergei strelec on ventoy along with medicat?
Not sure about Medicat, if you can make it a bootable ISO then it might work with Ventoy. The Strelec ISO will run, but when I tested it more than a year ago with an older Ventoy version (1.0.09 and up to 1.0.30), 90% of the tools didn't run or even open. Ventoy is now at 1.0.86 and might work now. The Strelec ISO is BEST run from it's own device anyway, it can do MOST things required to fix a broken install or prepare a PC for a clean install of anything. Then you run your chosen installer from the Ventoy device. For me at least, Ventoy STILL seems to be having issues getting a Windows 10 install completed, it hangs at different stages on different PC configurations. I guess, nothing is perfect.....
