  • Just an observation based walk through. Cleaner trigger than the P365. We put 350 round with zero hangups. Gun does get hot in a hurry.
    Does not take 10 round mags. Accepts the 15 without the sleeve.
    We will be doing a more in-depth head-to-head comparison with the original p365 in the coming days.
    The gun did get very hot but this is obviously in adverse round count test and in no way reflects or real world shooting with the pistol. We understand that no one is going to be putting 350 rounds to the gun as fast as they can without burning their hands. It is a great carry gun. We are very happy with how it performed really hot. The gun was almost ambient when water was poured on it. It was more of a joke so don't take it so hard.

Wife can't rack a M&P 9c but has no trouble with the 365 XL or the 380 EZ. (Both have flat wire recoil springs) I also noticed very little recoil response in both of your shoulders.

I feel safer from accidental discharges with the long trigger pull. I also keep it in a pocket holster. I really should carry a spare mag. But, anytime I go out, I switch to my p365. What we all expected. Primer drag is created by a slide that is too light creating a dwell issue. The larger slide looked perfect. Makes me wonder if the standard 365 will ever be 100 percent in the long term.

    • @freedom8672
      @freedom8672 5 років тому +1

      Here are a few facts the gun industry knows: 1) Primer drag is common in pistols that use John Browning's tilting barrel design, and there are videos on youtube showing it on glock 43, Shield, XDS, p365, Ruger lc9, etc. 2) Primer drag varies with barrel length and cartridge pressure. 2) As barrels get longer drag decreases. 3) As ammo pressure goes up drag increases. 4) It's a false premise that primer drag marks are a problem with the p365, and it's not something any manufacturer would address, because it's very common to the Browning design.

      It's kind of tough to compare them because one is a true double stack which is just a reduced full size gun. And this is a micro pistol elongated

    The only thing I don't like about it is that the rear sight comes out. If Sig fix that problem I would buy one for sure. And is not ambidextrous.

    Your "big ass hands slowed the slide down?" Are part of your "big ass hands" invisible?
    Because even in slow-mo, it doesnt appear any part of your hands made contact with the slide when you hit the slide release and got that failure to go into battery.

    • @ANRDesignLLC
      @ANRDesignLLC  5 років тому +2

      My thumbs are putting pressure on the bottom of the slide where they meet the frame. I was pressing pretty hard which slowed it down enough on a full mag that has quite a bit of resistance if the slide is slow down during slide drop

      If what you have works and there’s no desire to change then don’t.
      I try everything before forming an opinion. Coming from the 43 looking to the 43X I decided to try the 365 cause why not. I was converted. Shoots just the same with more capacity. Needed to get used to the smaller size but out of the box it was superior to the 43. Better sights, better trigger, better capacity, AND I did wait until all changes were made on the 365. Prior to that I’d never consider it

    I ABSOLUTELY hate the xray sights. They do nothing for my eyes. For me and my eyes the stock glock sights work better.
    I was so bummed at that too. Idk why the green does so little for my eyes. My wife said the same thing. Her eyes dont see the green very well either.
    I am curious... for people who like the green xrays are your eyes brown or blue?
    I switched mine out to the trijicon HD orange. My eyes pick up the orange perfectly.

      I know older guys that prefer the X-ray over White 3. So I guess it's personal preference at the end of the day. You can easily swap the front sight post on this gun out for other colors that they offer

      It would be helpful to know if it was 350 rds in 30 minutes or over 1.5hrs. Plus I don't think I will be in any scenario where I will need to fire 200 + rounds to save my life. So I'm not worried about the gun getting hot.

      @@ckim6400 I know it's a carry gun smart ass, my point was that you have to run that much rounds through your carry gun to trust your life to it.My $200.00 Taurus didn't get that hot, but the $600.00 Sig did? The only other gun that I've seen get that hot was the Walther CCP because of the gas piston system under the barrel ,so keep that in mind before you make a smart ass comment, because a gun shouldn't be getting that hot from that many rounds, and the original was plagued with problems when it was first introduced

      @@SmittySpeaks I'm only a smart ass because because you're a snowflake! Your Taurus and my Taurus are larger in size than the P 365 and price has nothing to do with whether it gets hot or not. My Original P 365 does get warm when I shoot 200-300 rounds through it and has been flawless for 4,600 rounds. It was manufactured 04 Feb 2018. I've owned it since March 5 2018. By the way many pistols get hot after 200-300 and my AR-15 gets really hot after 200 rounds. Guess I didn't think you would be so sensitive but it's better to be a smart ass than a dumb ass!

      @@ckim6400 That's funny,the whole snowflake thing. The 365 XL has a 3.7 inch barrel, the Taurus has a 3.2 inch barrel. They both use 12 round magazines, and the 365 maybe a little bit thinner, so they seem to be relatively the same size. And my price reference has to do with people always equating higher price to higher quality. And I know that many guns get hot after firing,but not many get that hot that you are feeling it in the trigger. And I got sensitive? Seems like you got sensitive when I called you a smart ass.
