Ghost became one of my favorite bands over the last year, especially with Prequelle. I love the clean vocals. I like a good growl every now and then (Amon Amarth, Melissa Bonny, Archenemy) but good clean vocals can make for a great song.
Metalhead here.. I enjoy vocals (and music styles) ranging from Black Sabbath (both Ozzy and Dio era) thru Metallica thru Possessed thru Devin Townsend/Gojira/Meshuggah/Jinjer. I also greatly enjoy Ghost. Limiting one's musical tastes simply cuts the amount of music one can enjoy.

Giddykitty Cirice is an Olde English term meaning "Church" That little girl has the elements of Carrie of Stephen King's character who has telekinesis or control over objects or people. There are 2 movies about Carrie: one made in '70's and other was few years ago. Ones in the masks are ghouls and singer is called Papa. Whole gimmick is based on Catholicism.
As already mentioned, Ghost has it’s own universe. They have switched singer for every album kind of... Papa Emeritus I, then II, and III - then the bloodline ended and Cardinal Copia had to take over. Guided by old Papa Nihil (who you can watch as a younger version of himself in the old sixties videos Mary on a cross and Kiss the go-goat), Copia was finally crowned as Papa Emeritus IV when the saxophone playing Nihil suddenly died on stage. If you find Ghosts channel on UA-cam and watch the videos in chronologic order, it’s quite entertaining. Needless to say, mastermind Tobias Forge plays almost every character himself.

Saw them live twice last year, at Twickenham supporting Metallica and at Wembley arena. They are possibly one of the best live acts out there, in my opinion.
They're absolutely amazing. I find this funny cause I'm an EXO-L, in February I went to see SuperM y'know and a month later I went to Ghost's last concert of Prequelle (their last album) era. I have to say that the feeling, the sensation they give on stage is totally insane, I felt in love more than I was before, it was magical, you can truly tell Ghost passion for what they do. Their music is so greta and the lyrics are... Just... Wow. I have to say... I saw EXO twice in the past and I felt for how amazing they were, you know how much show production kpop has and that stuff... And for Ghost... wow.... They're... It's just beautiful. I Love Ghost! Their more recent record (Prequelle) is super 80's, very cool videos too. Ghost is a cool band because they blend the heavy metal sound with melody & they understand the importance of the quiet parts of a song. Very great band! The "Rats" video is fun, but "Dance Macabre" is even better! "Life Eternal" doesn't have a video, but a very beautiful song. seriously i love this video so much, i forgot what it was actually about but my own idea always goes a bit like this as someone who was bullied a lot from age 9-18, i often dreamed about getting supernatural power to just destroy it all, beat back the bullies, rough up their parents who couldnt properly teach their kids i would not mind giving my soul to the devil, the devil who understands me, sees into my soul (like the song suggests) make them fear me, I found comfort in those ideas and thoughts and it honestly fucked up my life even up to this day, i was close to the end of this song, to pull the plug, but the idea of revenge kept driving me, but now im fine, I have found some comfort in other things, its good now, music is a blessing
The sad thing is metal like this has a lot of metaphors that relate to human emotion and the current rap/hip hop industry just sweeps most of this stuff under the carpet
