I think LG knew they were about to stop making phones, so they wanted to end off with something people would remember, even if it wasn't the best or most useful phone
"useless" ever tried to watch a video fullscreen and chat or read stuff on twitter while searching something on the web? This design is more practical and sturdy than any of the folding phones. btw the center camera is the main camera, bottom is regular wide angle and top is for the gimbal mode
its almost as if every tech youtuber never watches youtube on their phone even the folding phones need you to do some software split screen rubbish that doesnt work well with fullscreen modes plus this design will last way longer than current folding display technology
After almost 4 years, I'm still using my Wing as a backup phone. I'm just so thankful that you made this video. I followed every step that you did and was able to repair my LG Wing's screen earlier. Thank you!
In all honesty, the LG Wing was my first non traditional phone and is actually possible my favorite. It was very useful for typing, streaming, and minor multitasking things. It's main appeal was just it being fun and unique. It was quite the conversation starter.
when im feeling sad and dont wanna watch anything else i come here to watch phones being repaired u could say watching phones being repaired somehow repairs me
I think it's actually a really cool design. Watch UA-cam in landscape while texting on the vertical portion or something if it allows that. Reminds me of some of the sliding screen androids and other dumb phones that revealed a full keyboard back in the day.
Its not the "hardest". But it requires at least knowledge on it. Once you know how to repair phones, it gets pretty easy, even if its a phone that you have never seen before.
@new account ∙ 7.7B views ∙ 3 seconds ago . I’m not actually a bot, but I agree, they are always saying the same thing, over and over again on every video 😒
LG really pushed rthe wave with some of the phones they did make. I had a LG G6-G8 and those phones were a joy. Wish they were still here to help andriond even more.
I actually like that design. I can see myself finding good reasons to use it. It looks really confortable to hold in portrait while watching something in landscape at the same time.

honestly after having used this phone for over a year i can say for the everyday person its useless i only ever flip the screen when im showing someone the phone or fidgeting with it. However, i believer this phone is amazing for recording content especially vlogs due to the built in gimbal function and the software allowing you to pick a face and the camera staying aligned with that face to help with screen shake while moving. Also the phone is useful for multitasking if you have to use your phone to do stuff where you have multiple apps open.
Your videos are satisfying and fun and enjoying and gooood. Love your channel !!!! We also learn something about whats inside a phone and how does these phone repairs work. Very good work.
I started to watch your videos like few months ago. Now i'm following your footsteps. So thank you phone repair guru. Wish i could work with you one day.
LG is the greatest disruptor in the smart phone industry. I owned a V20 to the V40. They are great and the best innovators minus the firmware. I hope they get back at making phones.

I'm actually really interested in buying and repairing a Wing and trying to daily drive it. Unfortunately it was never released in my country and eBay shipping fees are stupid, sooooooo ig that'll just be left as a dream
You had some ringtone ringing in the background and it was bugging me to the point where I asked everyone in my room if it's their cell. 6:43 Amazing job on the repair, it looked very difficult!
I own the LG wing and I'm commenting this from that phone. Using it for almost 2 years. Works perfectly. Like you said, the second display is kind of useless, i never used it but the concept is unique and people will be amazed if they saw it in Tshape thats the cool part. Bought it for 30,000 Indian Rupees on 50% discount two years back.
I have an LG wing. I cracked the front screen and had it fixed. The guy who did it told me that this was the hardest phone he ever worked on lol The front screen is very weak. Having a vaccuum near any electronic device can kill the motherboard from static electricity ⚡️
The dual screen is actually pretty useful. You can simultaneously watch a movie, play a game and text, do a web search etc.
