Made my 4runner slower for some reason, any reason why?
ok so really stock was already a cold air intake, it goes right into the fender. What you really get is a greater filtration area and bigger tubing to the manifold.

If you want to boost power try a Peddle Commander they are $300.00 really helps out.

Why did you go with S&B over the TRD? I'm still trying to decide. Have you added anything else to your 4R?
I have the new S and B. It’s dope. MPG hasn’t gotten any better though. Probably drive it harder now bc is the sound. It’s fun to hear. Going URD Y pipe and Gibson exhaust when warranty runs out.

The first gen performed really good on i84 and i90 on my way to Montana from Central Oregon, I had stock tires though and did 21-22 MPGs going 75mph to 80mph on premium gas. I felt like once in higher elevation it does even better.
