This paint scheme is hands down one of the best I've seen for the Iron Hands. It's easy, looks great and captures the gritty essence of the Iron Tenth perfectly! :)
Thanks a lot for the comment! Yeah i tried the standard highlighting with greys method but my highlights are so sloppy it just doesnt look good for me. This way turns my messiness into an advantage ;)
Good job! I’m currently painstakingly painting up an Iron Hands army, some days I wish I went with a easy scheme like this one instead of edge highlights and detail work. Looks great and saves a lot of time.
Thank you for the nice words :) I'm such a hobby butterfly if I don't make it easy for myself I'll never get anything finished, and even then it's a struggle!
Ive just found your vids and as someone who is just getting into Iron hands you've given me some really great advice. But more importantly I just wanna say thanks and keep up the good work!
Great video mate. I'm new to Warhammer, tabletops and the hobby in general. I've pieced together an iron hands army and checked loads of how to paint videos but this is the one with the aesthetic I was after. Appreciate it. Subbed
I dont have any brushes in bad condition............. (because i cant decide what to paint....) Can you suggest a specific brush or tool for the job? I've googled for stippling brushes but im not sure if its the same sort of thing.
Hi! Stippling brushes (or makeup brushes if you can get a spare/cheap one) work very well for drybrushing. You can drybrush the light silver to get a good effect, although it will be a little different to my technique. If you don't have an old brush you can also use a piece of sponge (look for artists sponges or makeup sponges) and gently dab on the silver for the same chipped effect in the video.

@@digitalwastrel could do with some music to your videos. Let me know if you want some, you can check out my channel for examples.
I'll check it out, thanks!
Incredible work and I can't wait to try it on my own Iron Hands!
Thanks! Give it a go and let me see what you come up with!

Happy it was useful to you, you are very welcome! More Iron Hands stuff coming at some point!
Thank you so much bro. Im planning to get iron hands kill team and this is the only video I found useful of how to paint them .
Great stuff! Tag me when you get them painted, I'm always down for checking out some IH
Looks really damn good and also very simple. A great way to get some units out fast and still look really damn well 😁
Thanks a lot! Speed was definitely one of the goals here

Thanks very much! Glad you enjoyed my version of the IH
@@digitalwastrel Would love a guide on the other bits. Faces, weapons ect. I know many have covered this, but I like your style
Great video!
Thank you!
Fantastic tutorial!
What colors did you use for the white bits (boltgun etc)??
Thank you! The white is VMC Sky Grey

What are some of the bionic arms and upgrades you used for some of your models, and where can I get them? :)
The Sgt's big bionic claw thing is from the Ad Mech Kataphron kit. Highly recommended as a source of weirdo robo arms!
@@digitalwastrelthanks dude, plus your models are awesome
@@adumb2338 Thank you!
Большое спасибо за это видео, попробую эту метод на своих железных руках для ереси хоруса, а то мой собственный метод был чрезмерно комплексным
Thank you!
Are these the primaris models?
Yeah, all Primaris marines with a few bitz swaps
