Their album Wasting Light was recorded analog in Dave’s garage. No digital editing or splicing - all on analog cassette tape. So the band had to rehearse again and again and again to get it perfect. It worked. Amazing album.
Quick correction: the board is from Studio City in LA. Dave made a great documentary about the studio. Everyone loves Dave and will tell him ANYTHING!! Also look up his 12 hour long barbecuing at the homeless shelter in downtown LA. this winter. These guys are the best. Tragic about Taylor. Thanks for sharing this. YOU GENTLEMEN ARE THE BEST!!

The Foos! My all time favorite band. Dave Grohl is credited as one of the leaders in keeping rock 'n roll alive since much of today's music is electronic or overproduced in studios. I've seen Foo Fighters multiple times in concert and it's always between a 2.5-3.5 hour show. Their hardest song is probably Run. Their biggest hits are Best of You, Everlong, My Hero and All My Life. But there are bangers on every album. Hope to see more of the Foos on your channel! #Louisiana

Every song by them is awesome they do not have one bad song. they are the realist group of guys ever. they even have a video of them going to fans houses that won some drawing/contest where they went to their houses and played in their garages, living rooms and barn out at their houses its wild yall should watch it.
Everlong is a great one by them. Great drumming in Everlong. Also, they have a silly side too. Their first hit was Big Me. Funny video. They also do tons of crazy stuff giving away guitars to kids on stage and letting random audience members up in stage to jam with them. Very talented.

The Foo Fighters was formed by lead singer, Dave Grohl, who was the drummer for Nirvana before Kurt Cobain's death. (Singer for Nirvana) The drummer here, Taylor Hawkins, died this year of an overdose. Dave was ready to quit music, he says, as they were best friends whose children even played together. Tragic!! Dave did go on, he is a musical genius. He writes, sings, plays guitar and drums, among other things. 💙

Had the pleasure of watching them live at the first live concert event in NYC after the Covid lockdown and blessed to only be about 10 people deep from the stage. They did a 3 hour show, no opening band and played 3 encore along with a collaboration with Dave Chapelle singing Radiohead's Creep. If you go to their show, you get your money's worth.

Listen up, chump. Chump is a derogatory term. No other meaning. You just called them foolish. Thickheaded. The original meaning was from British words for defining meat. A chump leg of lamb or mutton was what we'd now call thick. That is no way to talk to people if you want them to listen. I just did it to demonstrate. Also, there is plenty great pop that everyone can enjoy. Even the most demanding critic.
This band has passion. That's why y'all like 'em. They aren't afraid to say a what's what. That's why I like 'em too. Kills me that their drummer is gone....Taylor Hawkins died last Spring, the day after my birthday. It just broke my musical heart. I don't know what the future holds for these guys, but this is a damn good band. You guys should really check out a lot of their other stuff. My kids were listening to them way before I was....I only just got into them the last three years, and to be honest, this band got me through (and still does) a really hard time in my life recently. I am forever indebted to them. I finally got to see them live -- before Taylor died -- back in August of '21. They played St. Louis with a band called Radkey (St. Louis product) and you'd really like them too!

One of the greatest bands I've witnessed live! They played for almost 3 hours and the energy was amazing! RIP Taylor you'll be missed.

The lead singer is Dave Grohl he was the drummer for Nirvana I also believe the bassist is also the former bassist for Nirvana. The drummer is Tyler Hawkins who recently passed away he was the touring drummer for Alanis Morrisette. The Foo Fighters is a great band! A lot of classic songs

Sadly Taylor Hawkins, the drummer…passed away not too long ago.
Had the pleasure of watching them live at the first live concert event in NYC after the Covid lockdown and blessed to only be about 10 people deep from the stage. They did a 3 hour show, no opening band and played 3 encore along with a collaboration with Dave Chapelle singing Radiohead's Creep. If you go to their show, you get your money's worth.

Both songs are from their first album, back when it was just one person in the band. Can't recommend that album enough.
Listen up, chump. Chump is a derogatory term. No other meaning. You just called them foolish. Thickheaded. The original meaning was from British words for defining meat. A chump leg of lamb or mutton was what we'd now call thick. That is no way to talk to people if you want them to listen. I just did it to demonstrate.
Also, there is plenty great pop that everyone can enjoy. Even the most demanding critic.

Kills me that their drummer is gone....Taylor Hawkins died last Spring, the day after my birthday. It just broke my musical heart.
I don't know what the future holds for these guys, but this is a damn good band. You guys should really check out a lot of their other stuff.
My kids were listening to them way before I was....I only just got into them the last three years, and to be honest, this band got me through (and still does) a really hard time in my life recently.
I am forever indebted to them.
I finally got to see them live -- before Taylor died -- back in August of '21. They played St. Louis with a band called Radkey (St. Louis product) and you'd really like them too!
