I was thinking about that, a DH front fork with the travel reduced to half would still have 100mm of travel but will be way sturdier and could handle a full on front brake push without any issues, an inverted fork might be better but those get on the expensive side.

Nice work ! 34:12 The squish gets smaller with revs , so a 0.8mm squish will be 0.6mm at 12000rpm and even less at higher RPMs. Won't kill it but it will pepper the head and destroy your bearings fast. I'm just going by what @Dave Stuff told me, he is a pro-stock race engine builder so he knows a bit about going fast. He did all this stuff years ago. You got this, Bro. ..👀 for the 44mm build .
Oh, I think I might use 2 part jbweld clear bond to keep my tires from removing themselves from the rim when I switch from 9t-36t, to 9t-32t sprocket setup. I had to use 50 percent thicker Goodyear tubes this go around. I don’t know if heat is popping them from hi-speed or the amount of air pressure. I do have something wonky going on though,
@@rachalhollier5679 That's almost a mm. Probably like 0.6mm squish gap at 15k rpm. I mean, if you're using a billet crank with tighter tolerances on the bearings, might be 0.8mm at that high rpm. So of course it hasn't blown yet.

bro, love ur vids, i have some good tips for ur bike, put some piece of tire btwen the pieces then has too much vibration, like, engine, the gas tank, this keep the pieces stay safe and no moving, and, try add some radiator kit, this help too much for the motor keep runing cold and give some high rpm's, when it's rich fueled.

Love your chit but that is not how you tighten the bottom bracket and can expect it to fail. The jam nut is to be tightened against the one it presses against and to do so you need a thin wrench. The nut inside the steer tube is a “flower nut”. That is not how you grease bearings either. You know that tape under the throttle……I said too much.
Already broken in since a long time ago... Also it blowing up due to it not being broken in is not how it works. It's the tuning (too lean, lack of oil/lubrication) and constant abuse on stock bottomend bearing.
Dude these are not Minarelli engines, they are more correctly referred to as Chinarelli. True Minarelli engines are Italian made scooter engines costing thousands for some models!

I have ordered chinese minarelli kit on Aliexpress, guy called SafetyUggs pushed out 6hp out of it on stock carb not ported and not flow matched but on custom pipe made for 12k rpm. I wonder how much power will my setup push with 21mm dellorto, flow matching, balanced crank and unfortunately a bad pipe MZ65 clone. Maybe you can estimate how much will it make?
@@RiejuRR_50 I don't have a lot of experience, I still have so much to learn. With that setup I'd say about the same. With porting, upgraded cooling head, and a bigger pipe, you could push it to 8-10hp and 11-12k rpm I'm sure.

So when you are stopped by LEO for travelling 2X the speed limit they will take your bike and it will go straight to the crusher, kiss all your money goodbye. Thats if you make it that far. Your driving, weaving in and out of vehicles at speed, flying on the pedestrian, bicycle path (again a speed violation) and lastly as is obvious from you grabbing the clutch every time you look to be slowing down, your lack of actual driving skill puts you 1 emergency mishap away from being nothing but a grease smear on the road! Smarten up or lose your bike at best, or at worst become a statistic when you are dead!
You realize that is not an actual Felt frame right? felt has not made cruiser frames in a very long time. What that is, is a Chinese knock off that is primarily market by a company called CDH! Saying they are overpriced for what they are or compared to what you can purchase them directly from China for would be a gross understatement! You are quite literally one of those people that salesman love to see coming equating spending a ton of money with great outcome. With what you have spent on this, with more knowledge, as despite what your fawning followers think, you really know very little, you could have built something light years above what you are going to end up with when this project is done!

Be careful Trent. I went thru city of Spokane twice. Once in 1986 then again in 1990 on AYH Coast To Coast cross country bicycle tour.

when you installed the forks you put the upper bearing dust cover above the triple tree and not the bearing. Sorry I got that bike shop ocd lol

Why not just buy an 80cc dirtbike engine? Costs~500-1000 dollar or a chainsaw engine like big bore ms660 clone? Much more power.
lol ms660 is like 7hp and 9k rpm. MXS is much more than that
@@trentbikes you can get a limiter delete and pipe for 15hp, also mikuni, the chainsaws have drive output right side so it is sort of bolt on
Limiter delete gets you to 12k rpm

You realize that is not an actual Felt frame right? felt has not made cruiser frames in a very long time. What that is, is a Chinese knock off that is primarily market by a company called CDH! Saying they are overpriced for what they are or compared to what you can purchase them directly from China for would be a gross understatement! You are quite literally one of those people that salesman love to see coming equating spending a ton of money with great outcome. With what you have spent on this, with more knowledge, as despite what your fawning followers think, you really know very little, you could have built something light years above what you are going to end up with when this project is done!
Nope. It's a real steel felt frame. It's not a gas frame. You're thinking of felt fakers, which is a 3.4l aluminum gas frame.

@@bigcconservativeguy2534 It's literally an used frame I bought from someone on facebook. If you think CDH or whoever is making non-gas steel felt frames with paint like that, you are sadly mistaken.
There’s a guy in our hobby that buys up all the old/used felt cruiser frames in California and sells them to the motored bicycle community. The guy comes up with a pretty impressive amount of old felt cruisers.
