Ello chat for those who wanna do early game farm. Sleepy draggo is your go to. When you get to the lord of blood area, just have rock sling and your good to go for the birb farm, if your NG+. Rock sling + sacred relic. And yes ye tarnished, rocksling hits the birb.
That's 9 minutes of my life I'll never get back. "RUNE GLITCH, GET 500K AN HOUR". Yeah, straight bs. And its not even a glitch, you're just knocking people off of a bridge and respawning them. And why knock them off? Just straight up take them out, they can't be that strong. If this is it, then there's plenty of other enemies you can do this with that give waaaayyyyy more than 1100 runes smh. I just know this atrocity of a video has to have more dislikes than likes on it, it's nothing more than a waste of mf time. Honestly, the best thing for you to do is just straight up take it down and delete it, so nobody else has to waste their time watching it smh.
So for anyone wondering what you actually get from using this farm... If you time it, it takes him about 40 seconds from he starts heading down from the grace until he recieves the runes for the first kill, I'll be EXTREMELY generous and say that he could have gotten down there 20 seconds faster had he sprinted. That still means best case you're completing one rotation of this every 20 seconds, each rotation yields a massive 2,388 runes... That would add up to 7,164 runes per minute excluding load times. Let's now be even nicer and assume that you have an endless supply of gold chicken feet (as you'd have to pop one for every rotation, due to fast travel) and a golden beetle on your head. Combined these effects would yield 1.56 x more runes bringing us up to 11,176 runes per minute. This means the only way to even reach 50k a minute yet alone 500k, would be to have both enemies spawn with glowing eyes every single time which would give 5x more runes... Bringing the grand total of what is "possible" (read that with MASSIVE air quotes) with this method to 55,880 runes per minute... Assuming there are still birds alive in your game and you didn't spend 5 hours prepping for this waste of time and that you haven't cheated the game to always spawn glowing eyes enemies, a more realistic number would be 8,597 runes per minute, still excluding load times... Now my tip personally would just be to cheese Greyoll at the start of the game to get an easy 90K runes, then you just play the game normally and remember to eat your chicken wings whenever you defeat a boss that drops a lot of runes. Once in Liurnia you can start baiting birds off a cliff I guess or just save the rune farming for after Elden Beast... If you're farming runes because you're stuck on a boss it would probably be a better use of your time to just use that time to learn the fight instead of trying to over level for it...
