Great job. I like you doing the Chinese quads because they are a great way to get in a quad on a budget. I still watch even though I finished one (with your help) for my grandson last year.
You've been watching and commenting for over a year now! Love to hear from you James and Im glad your project went well! Part 6 is coming out soon, any suggestions on my next project?
Lol, thanks! As the channel grows I will expand what I film while in the shop but for now I'm going to keep doing this and help others with their projects!
B.J. Awesome video as always. You are doing a great job, powder coating is beautiful. Your buddy did a great job on it. Can't wait to see more. Love your work man.
Thanks! Honestly, I thought it was going to be too much yellow but after the wheels, springs and body are on I feel it's the perfect amount! Thanks for watching!
@@PraskaBoysGarage I started watching your videos and I can watch you build all day. I do have a question I'm relatively new to the ATV/Quad world and really want to know how you feel about a stock Chinese made ATV? Should I buy one and upgrade it or just buy a domestic "better made" one so called?
Another great video. I restore Polaris Sportsman's. You give me good ideas, Like the shock and spring trick you did in this video. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! I've only owned a couple Polaris atvs before. A 90cc sportsman and a 90cc scrambler. Not a big fan of 2 strokes but they were fun little machines!
Nice build so far.. I'm just about done rebuilding a Coolster 110cc atv for my granddaughter. Motor swap and new wiring. Waiting on a few more parts to finish up. As always enjoyed watching and can't wait to see it finished
For tires and rims I found something that works pretty good it's what they use in the mechanic shops it is the tire soap it works really good and it also helps for putting on dirt bike tires now those can be a real pain but it makes them go on so easy you could basically do it by hand without any tools to tire and tube mounting compound FTS
The kind I have is made by rhema tip top tire and tube mounting compound if you search there on eBay you will see a few different kinds the one I have is a black label with a yellow ring going around the black I have just a little under 5 gallons of it and the stuff is perfect I won't use anything else it will last a long time as well just take a old rag and put some on it and wait down the rim and tire it will make life a lot easier mounting tires I highly recommend it
I have 2 of these and me and my friend cut the foot step/Pegs off and put on dirt bike pegs and put a 125cc 4 speed manual kick start on mine and its flys now! It keeps up with his brothers suzuki 250 quad! And I love the Colors you chose BTW!!!
I have a 125 one that i have for my son. There is a point when i rev it up while its in neutral that it has a lot of vibration that i can feel in the handle bars. It does it while driving too. Its around the slightly more than half speed spot. If i open the throttle wide open, it seems to not vibrate as bad. Have you experienced any of this? If so, what can i do to fix it? My son drives it pretty slow due to not being able to stand the vibration.
It can come from a number of things on these chinese atvs. Here is the list of things I would inspect first. 1) Tire pressure. If your over 15psi then you have too much pressure. 2) Tie Rods. Make sure they are tight and secure, they are know for coming lose over time. 3) Steering shaft. If you can shake it by hand then its too lose and needs to be tightened down. Look into those things first and let me know what you find out!
What's up bj friend of mine didn't check the oil. I think it locked up. It's a 110 cc do they have a safety kill switch when it low on oil???? Do you sell motors?? Charge to rebuild it???
Here is my experience with Chinese brand shocks: they flat out stink... My advise is find a name brand atv that has the same length shocks and look for used take offs. An example is the Kazuma Falcon 110 ATV used the same size shocks as a Yamaha Raptor 80 from the early 2000s. If you want a much better ride that's what I would do!
Keep up the good work love watching your vids thanks for posting and I have a eye deer can u make a mobilityscooter with one of tho's rev and go quad engines

It was a display table from a closing Kmart. I purchased 3 of them at $50 dollars a table, and use the other 2 for storage. Works great for what I need, only complaint is it's a fixed platform to work and not adjustable.
Nice quad. I just got one for my Son. I removed the air screw plug and have fiddled with it to where it stays running when off the throttle after it warms up but it bogs really bad if your going slow then got WOT. Should I just replace the carb and try again or is that just something you gotta deal with on these cheap quads?
Thanks! Because the carbs and filters are so cheap online I would buy a new one and also a jet kit to make sure it can get dialed in! Good luck on your project!

@@thedifferencebetween4377 That's way too high. I run mine between 12-15. You don't want it too firm because then you'll be bouncing all over the place.

Might be right. I flexed the shock as far as I could and still had some movement but I may put a single spacer link in just to be safe. I really need to test run it on the table to find out for sure.

Remove the throttle cable completely. If it will sit and idle then you know the cable needs more slack.
my front end looks a bit different.. to hook up
