Glad the Mercury Marque 460 engine found a new home! Amazing all the pre computerized emissions control systems on that engine. They were complicated and power robbing features we all disliked. Great job!

26:20 after working on one of those "brake cylinders" or "burrinho de freio" as we call it here in Brazil, I understand 100% why you just bought a new one instead of working on the original, these things are awesome when properly working, but whenever you have to work on it instead, most of the time its granted to be a headache 😂 Edit: we are usually instructed to bleed it on the wheels while doing maintenance, the way you did it directly on the cylinder head was definetively a big brain move I gotta be honest

weight will be an issue on the old front springs.. 302 weighs around about 460 lbs. an all iron accessory 460 will be north of 700 lbs...still torque will be way higher, and it'll romp nicely with the 4 barrel set up/EGR delete.

Just finished rebuilding the 460 on my 74 Torino. Went with roller cam. And swapped the D3 heads with C8 heads. Great videos.
