Here I am, no kids, 47 years old, riding a honda xr80r, currently working on a crf50f and a coolster 125 quad. Got em going but the steering on the quad is stiff.. love what you're doing, and keep teaching the little guy.. he's on his way to be an awesome engine builder..
Teach him porting and balancing, and give him the path to be faster than a lightning bolt.
I'm subbed... 10 thumbs up from someone who's been building engines for 25 years.
AWESOME JOB!
Great job BJ. My favorite part is when you take time to explain things to your son. Memories for a life time. Money can't buy those. Keep making videos and I'll keep watching.
Thanks James. That was my oldest Kyden and he is really starting to take a liking to small engines. I posted a poll yesterday, so make sure to vote on what you want to see next!
I love how you take care of the engine like a pro!
Thank You! These little Honda clones are great and super easy to work on!
@@PraskaBoysGarage they are good to learn with!
@@PraskaBoysGarage what’s up man I have a problem with a Apollo 250 the starter doesn’t engage but the starter spins but the flywheel doesn’t but it isn’t locked up because I can crank it over with the kick start
@@panzeriv2768 I am not as familiar with the 250s. The starter is attached to a chain that is behind the stator cover. That chain could be broke? Also some bigger Atvs have what's called a bendix. It is spring loaded and is engaged by the starter which engages the motor. Those would be my guess.
Bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don’t say that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best atv break down on UA-cam, your expressions pin point exactly what to look for good job bro hopefully I can fix the 3 quads I just got
Great video bud. You’re very thorough and that’s amazing. Loves seeing you bring em back to life
Thanks for your video! Making $, having fun, teaching your son mechanical/electrical knowledge....you can't beat that!!! Love it! That's how I started my career!!!
Greetings from Australia, im rebuilding 3 Quads at the moment and your videos have been a life saver when trying to diagnose and fix issues. Thanks for the great informative videos, keep up the good work

@@PraskaBoysGarage definitely! Thank you!

Absolutely love this one, BJ! I also appreciate the all in one video.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks man! If this video goes over well I will try and break up the restorations with videos like this because I do them so often. As always, thanks for watching!
Love your channel dude. Very informative, love the enthusiasm.. I just purchased 2 e-ton four wheelers myself, working on them now for myself and grandson. I've learned a lot watching your videos. Keep up the good work bro! 👍🏻
Thanks Kevin! Happy to hear you enjoy the channel and good luck on your projects!
Super inspired by the way you ring the 4 wheelers back to live. I'd been able to bring 2 chinese 4 wheelers to work again due to your videos. Great job man. You put smiles on kids. 👍
That is awesome! Glad I'm able to help!
I'm from California L.A and ive never seen a badass chinese quad Mechanic like you ....Great Videos Thank you
Appreciate that, thanks for watching Bernardo!
Thanks for your time producing this video! I have just found your channel by chance I am very impressed! Rather than this being the average look at me, what I can do video, you have instead produced a video about if you follow my instructions this is what you the viewer can do!
Well done and thanks again Cheers Robert Z
Wow, thank you! I have several UA-camrs that I follow personally and I try to take what I like from each of them to make this channel my own! Teach and inspire is my goal. Thanks for watching and I'm glad you found the channel!
Your boy has a good father! keep it up dude. He will remember and thank you when he's older.
Amazing. This is why I love UA-cam!! Brilliant job

Love your work mate , great detail footage ,awesome explanation of your work & the young fella’s test ride at the end fantastic👍, best video clip yet!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
This channel is golden because you explain everything in detail, you have helped me a lot
Thank you, glad you like it! Thanks for subscribing!
This was a very cool video. Very honest build. Anyone that buys this could watch the video and know you did a great job. Makes me want to do this stuff!
Thank you! I appreciate your positive feedback, and you should get a project! They are fun and not very expensive!
Love that you have the little guy involved! Good luck on your future projects and may your business prosper.
Thanks Chris! I appreciate that man!
I enjoy your videos brother. I learnt more from you in one video than I did watching twenty others. God bless
Love the enthusiasm when they finally turn on. Im tryna fix my chinese atv n these videos are lit
I have become awesome at buying and flipping. It's just a hobby that I enjoy doing. My kids enjoy it too as that's how I've gotten all their equipment. Love your channel
That is awesome! I am in the same boat man. All our stuff has been bought and paid for from just a fun hobby!
Awesome videos. I got started on the small atvs for a hobby. Your videos are helpful and definitely learn some things. Keep up the good work and instructional videos. Will be watching more of your videos. 👍🏻
Thanks Ross! Glad to hear they have helped!
I just found your channel. Exactly what I'm in to. I've started playing around with engines as a hobby and was worried about funding my hobby and being able to pay for tools without eating into the family budget. Great content. Now going to check out your other videos. Thanks BJ
Thanks David, glad you found us! It takes discipline for sure not to keep using family money but once you get rolling it's a pretty good feeling!
Great video man ! Love how you put the tools in the description too
Yeah you bet, glad you liked it!
Very nice video. I have learned so much about small motors just by watching your detailed videos. I have subscribed. Thank you.
Thank you very much for the videos and the details. The detail on the wiring and troubleshooting helped me greatly!! Keep up the great work.
Glad to help, thanks for watching Briscoe!
absolutely brilliant loved it. Love the way you teach your young lad and also the way you explain things. I always watch Mustie but think you are much better at explaining things. Well done
First time watching you. thank you for all the tips and information.
This really hit home for me. I’ve been buying and selling China quads for 5 years now . Sold 27 this year , all used . Doing exactly what you’re doing . Funny thing is all my profits go back into my shop/more ATVs aswell . Can’t wait to see more vids !
Good stuff man! I've been doing this now for almost 10 years. Got started with mini 49cc pocket rockets and just worked up from there. I work on pretty much everything now but I have found youth sized powersport toys are my favorite! What do you like to work on the most? Or what makes you the most money for the shop?
@@PraskaBoysGarage I’d have to say the Hummer 110’s are the most profitable . All the common problems easily fixed . I rebuild the harness that comes with the atv however . Depending how crispy they are . I wish I had the patience you had with paint and looks . I paint the plastics all the time but never put in the time and effort you do .
The engine tear downs is what I do most . Pretty much exactly what you do . When you make $300 + a quad what’s not to love
@@scotttburn8177 Exactly! It’s a fun hobby that’s you can make some decent money at! Glad to have you on the channel man! Feel free to give me pointers too. Always willing to learn new things.
Can you pretty please help me troubleshoot in my kids 4 wheeler!? I'd pay for consultation over FaceTime or whatever! It would mean a lot to me for my boys and daughter to see me fix this! I also have a few dirt bikes that I want to learn how to fix someday. It's important to me I teach my kids some basic skills and to take some pride in self sustainability!
I just wanted to say that I thought you made a great video here, very informative and to the point. I fell in love with these little china engines when I realized how semilar they were to the old Honda trail 50s and the 110 honda atv. I have a bunch of them now and i need to do what you are doing. Great job
Good stuff brother.... Real professional type work right there, I like how you have ur son involved, it's important to have the kids involved. Keep up the good work
I appreciate that! Thank you!
Steve from Annapolis Maryland you got my vote I'm doing the same thing down Southern Maryland Anne Arundel County fixing up ATVs and scooters keep up the good work I'm doing the same thing you're doing it's all good lot of fun and parts are cheap and not stressful
Love to hear it Steve! Are they pretty easy to find in Maryland? Iowa is like a grave yard for these guys!
Did excellent videos you explain everything you're doing and very good up close shots as to what you are doing appreciate you
Can't thank you enough. Just picked up a Tao Bull150cc for dirt cheap, your instructions were very detailed on a breakdown and the speciality tools are all listed in the description... Plan on giving you some kickback on purchase of some tools. From a fellow Wisconsinite, Go Packers!
i started with mowers nd yard equipment now ive fixed 3 small motorcycles but im still learning alot about the electrical parts of the bikes this video has taught me alot thank u
Hey that's awesome! Glad I've been able to help!
I appreciate your video worth pure gold . Total respect earn plus you guys got yourselves a new subscriber 😊
Super video again well done and well explained as you moved along on each section, love the test driver he can well handle that quad.
Cheers from Ireland,
Thank You! That's my 6 year old Konrad. He is a full throttle not brakes kinda kid! We try our best to keep him on all 4 wheels!
Good stuff man keep up the good work👍🏼
Wow amazing work. Very great video. Can't wait to see more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Fix On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
First time watching one of your videos. I just tackled a 500 Suzuki rebuild and I really like the way you put your video together. Keep it up.
That's awesome, thanks for watching!
I just bought my first atv a few months ago, its a honda 300ex, stumbled across this vid, I really enjoyed it! Im trying to learn as much as I can about them. Cheers 🍻
That's awesome man! We owned a Honda 300ex for a few years. I switched it to a twist throttle and practiced how to wheelie on it. A lot of fun for sure! Thanks for watching and I am glad you found the channel!
Love the videos buddy 😎🍻
You're a genius. I tried to rebuild a 79cc Honda engine similar to this engine (since the Chinese ATV engine is a Honda clone) in 1992 when I was 13 yrs old. I had a Honda manual, but working on this engine was a real PITA. I can appreciate how difficult all the steps are. Putting the sprocket on the chain brings back bad memories. Cheers!
Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching!
I live in Inverness Florida I was looking at one of your videos online and I swear I wish you were around here somewhere cuz I could definitely use your help with my scooter and my motorcycle
It was the video with the ATV basically my bike my scooter does the same thing has power gas everything but it just won't start
I love motorcycles I love your video and I cannot wait to see more of them
Awesome! More to come soon!
Great video brother!!! I actually have a few tao tao wheelers I am working on and they all have electrical problems. I love how informative you are on your video
That's awesome man! Good luck on your projects!
I rewired my entire 125cc force in a single night and had it all put back together
Great video! It really helped me restore one that had been left out in a field for years.
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching!
I love your motive of keeping your garage stocked and funded, that’s what I tell my wife, my toys pay for them selfs
So true! It also solves the "gotta ask the wife" problem when looking to but another project!
Quick question for ya have ya ever built your own harness from scratch
I've thought about it a lot actually. It would help me learn more and also I would want to use better quality connectors that last!
It’s something I’m self teaching rn, just bought my first round of supplies to start this Kawasaki eliminator bn125 need a lot of work, but when I bought my 110 atv all that it needed was wiring and a battary so I ordered em both brand new and when they got here I was looking at the wiring and what not and realized how simple and in demand they really are
Great video, production value is good. Enough time spent on important topics with no wasted time. I didnt feel like you had unnecessarily long periods to drag the time out which was very nice. I like how you included your son riding at the end which lets viewers stay tuned to see your work and allows for longer view time if we would like to. All around great video. Subbed.
Man, thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate that. I'm still fairly new the the UA-cam world and trying different styles with my videos. I follow a lot of UA-cam channels and try to take the styles I like and make them my own. Thank you for subscribing!
Great video. I was looking for how to find parts for my GS402 mini chopper, 50cc You NAILED IT !
Thanks Shawn, glad you liked it!
Bro watching from the UK I loved this vid and your vibe your little son loves the quad and his dad you showed super skills on a tight budget well done good man👍😎

You are awesome I love the way you describe your videos and you work
Thank you so much 😀 Glad you enjoy the content!
So glad I found your channel can't say enough good things about it. Not to mention you put an actual parts like in the video description subbed for sure 👌🏼. I have a tao tao 125cc (plate says tao tao engine displacement 124cc) I'm about to rebuild paid $125 for it building to keep.
I just saw your video for the first time. I like your style. Thanks (subscribed )
Awesome, thank you!
What an absolute legend!!!
Thank you bro. I'm trying to get mine started. I'm going to follow your same steps
You can do it! Good luck!
Good job; Work, video, testing...top notch!
Son is cool!
Thank you! That’s Konrad he’s the next UA-cam star, also asking to ride for the videos!
Awesome!! Your the best. Keep it up. Thanks.
Thanks man, will do!
You do exactly the same thing I do and why I do it. Each project funds the next one! Definitely earned this sub. With my son getting older, he wants to help more and is the reason I started doing more with my own channel. Music, motors, and doing what we love is the goal. Love it man.
Awesome! Thank you! My 9 year old has started having interest in small engines also. It has been fun to work with them, but at the end of the day we enjoy ripping up some lawn the most!
@@PraskaBoysGarage you should check out my teaching the kids to do doughnuts video. Lol
Looks good man! I think it's time to get that little 4 stroke a top end!
@@PraskaBoysGarage yeah. I'm on the lookout for the correct valve seals. That little 2 stroke still rips it.
My friend I just learned alot watching u with the test light and u did it in a very easy way for that i thank you it seems the lil Chinese 4wheelers have a lot of electrical problems (others hands) i have 6 or 7 here and all seem to be electrical things wrong
Imma big fan of ur channel bruh..Like always awesome work man..My two boys got the same Tao Tao atv’s and they’re holding up pretty good thanks to ur videos...Keep the great content coming 🦾🦾🦾🔥🔥🔥
Love it man! Always appreciate you tuning in and dropping a comment! Helps keep me motivated to make more!
@@PraskaBoysGarage awesome bruh..I can’t wait to see the raptor 80 rebuild 🔥🔥
@@700rRaptorLife It will be awesome! Just for the record, that rebuild will be 100% for you!
@@PraskaBoysGarage awesome bruh I definitely can’t wait to see it 😁 😃🤘🏾🤘🏾🦾🦾
Thanks for the info ,you and lil dude are dope !
I appreciate that! Thank you!
Most people don’t put the effort into these Chinese atvs but it’s great to see it here. They run just fine and they’re a lot of fun.
They serve a good purpose in the youth ATV market. However it doesn't make sense to take them to your local repair shops so they become DIY projects. That's where my channel comes in to help others with theirs! Thanks for watching!
Keep the videos coming, great job. About to start working on the kids ATA125A
Thanks Tony! Good luck on your project!
I like this vid
You explain EVERYTHING
Cheers mate!
Hey thank you! Glad you liked it!
O ya definitely watching this when I get off
Let me know what you think! It's a little different than the normal so I'm anxious to see if you guys will like it or rather me stick to complete builds.
Great job. Got me inspired to fix up the 2 I have behind our garage.
Thanks! You should for sure. Let me know if you have questions, I am here to help!
Is Amazon your lone source for replacement parts or do you have multiple?
Great job and a great video I'm looking forward for the next one 👍💯👌
Thank you!
@@PraskaBoysGarage I've be doing the same thing and last 2 days ago I sold a bayou 220 for 500 the only thing that I need to learn is to do too ends..

Appreciate that David! Thank you!
You are very informative!
OUT OF ALL THE VIDS YOU EXPLAIN EVERYTHING SO CLEAR AMAZING DEFF FOLOW DEFF SUBSCRIBED CONTINUE TO GIVE US TOOLS TO WORK WITH THANK YOU 🙏🙏🙏
20 bucks an hour isn't going to make you rich, but it's not chicken feed either. Lot's of folks out there working for 10 bucks an hour. A hobby that pays for itself plus a bit is awesome.
Exactly man! Anytime a hobby can pay for itself is a good deal!
Please I need more content like this!!👏👏👏
Thank you! More to come I promise!
First and foremost passing knowledge to your son priceless 👌.
Wish I would of discovered your channel years back I've passed on alot of deals.. now I've fixed a few thanks to your videos. Just like you I use profits only my paycheck goes to the house profit goes to builds. I might go pick one up after work 110cc looks complete
Yeah wife doesn't like my new hobby..
Glad the channel has helped! It's a hobby that pays for itself, so my wife stopped asking questions about it along time ago! Good luck on your future project, let me know if you have any questions or need any help!
Thank you for sharing!
Love it. Those are some inexpensive replacement parts!
Good business idea for a retiree.
Yes they are!
Love the channel and yes I own 2 125 coolsters and now lol I’m a pro at fixing them
Hey thanks, that's awesome! In my opinion the 125's are the best!
great video as always!

Appreciate it!! Thank you
Absolutely brilliant...
Thank you!
Top video great channel .hi from Ireland
My family is from Ireland now we are in the Bay Area in California ☘️👍🏻
Nice work, well explained.
Thank you very much!
Very thorough for teaching the viewers how to's on the china bikes.
Down south very few people will buy a used china quad. And those that buy will only pay very little even for a good running example.
I would like to see you work on some name brand bikes... especially Yamaha and Kawasaki.
Thank you! Make sure to vote on the poll I posted yesterday! Next project could be a 1998 Honda XR70R which will be right in line with what you want to see next!
Great job BJ. I’ll have you know I guessed 150 on the compression thingy and I don’t even know what that means.
Lol thanks Dallas, 150 was definitely a surprise! Love your drone footage btw, get ready because I'm going to need your skills after the next project is done!
I can’t wait until the xr70 video! I restored one for my son a few months ago and it was a blast!
That is awesome! I got to work on it yesterday, should have Part 1 out next week!
Awesome...That pretty much says it all...peace
Thanks man!
