@@Kingotfu you dont want acid to interact with the meat for too long. If you dont add lemon, then marinating overnight is the best. Or do marinate without lemon for overnight and then add lemon juice an hour or so before cooking.

I'm skinny too bro but I've made some gains recently, Train to failure and try to eat 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. You got this.
