35 seconds . That’s all it takes. This is, after all, the most iconic hard rock band of all time. 🙏
Lex just makes me smile. I'm 70 years old and bought all the Led Zepelin albums as they came out.
I’m jealous, that’s how it should be but unfortunately I was born a few decades to late
I'm jealous, too...of Brad. ;)
Never saw them live. Bonzo died right when I was getting into all this stuff. I Did see Robert Plant’s solo tours with his band 6 times. I was very impressed. He played a bunch of my favorite ZEPPELIN songs that I never thought I would get to hear live. Not the typical ones either. Like Trampled Underfoot and Into the Light. I was stunned.
@@deffgy, since I’ve been watching all these first reaction channels, I fantasize about the Rock and Roll Time Machine so I could be tour guide and show you guys what it was really like. I’d make everyone do it right and laugh my ass off watching your brains melt live! Ha Ha! Good times, good times.
As did I. On 3 different formats. Vinyl, 8 track and CD. Same with
Dark side of the moon. Floyd
"can we turn it up?" Is always the perfect reaction to Led Zeppelin.
ABSOLUTELY!!!
YES!
Is there any other?
My Mom would yell TURN that noise down!! I turned it up louder!!🤟
"Does it go any louder?"
Lex is the greatest reactor on UA-cam. It's not even a contest, she is AMAZING!!!
If that just was genuine, fooling is soooo easy.!
She's got the most beautiful face but with a non-pretentious super bubbly personality! I wonder if Robert and Jimmy have seen their LZ song reviews?
10 seconds of listening to Led Zeppelin and her first reaction was "Hey you need to turn that up. You need to make that louder."
She makes me smile seeing her smile.
@@Tortoise5678 Back door man. Young people go straight there. Back door man isn't a sex position, guys...
Lex went off the chain, and that's EXACTLY how it should be. Led Zep are LEGENDS for a reason.

Watching Lex for the first time , and some guy next to her .
“Does it go any louder?” Priceless! You are a keeper Lex! 💓
Turn up the decibles. You can always buy a hearing aid.
Such a doll and loves her music!
She definitely needs a dial that goes up to 11...
@@MrHws5mp Bro. . . I've seen her go to 11 plenty of times. Lex is a wild animal sometimes!
When my daughter was in junior high school, I was parked out front listening to Led Zeppelin. When the kids came out, one of my daughter’s classmates told her, “Tell your mom to turn her music down”. I told my daughter, “Tell your little friend, this is Led Zeppelin and Led Zeppelin doesn’t get turned down!”
The looks on yall’s faces when Robert starts belting out those vocals was PRICELESS! 😎
Imagine what she's going to be like when she hears Steve Marriott doing this, Plant is just a clone of the GOAT!
Plant was nothing like nobody Mariott, save for fours seconds of his entire career.
@@lyndoncmp5751 yeah, amazing what a covers band achieved with good management and promotion. Still, you keep on believing the nonsense, the proof is the hearing as obviously there is no way that Plant didn't completely rip off the vocals on this track, unless of course he's he got a flux capacitor why before Marty did....
@@lyndoncmp5751 as for a nobody, a man so good that when he left the Small Faces they had to replace him with two people, Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood but I suppose they're nobodies too?
Oh that was amazing
I don't listen to Led Zeppelin often, but when I do listen to em my whole neighborhood does also
Yeah, that's the right way. Spread them glad tidings😊
if the walls aint shaking it aint loud enough
It just doesn’t get any better than Led Zeppelin. And Lex’s reaction to hearing Plant sing is what 99.9% of women felt. Rock on! 🤘
Her reaction is why every guy wants to be a lead singer in a rock band. Or better yet to be Robert Plant. She’s adorable and gets it on a visceral level. Poor brad is like, ok? It’s a love song? Lol. Love this channel.
Ever see a face light up like that before lol wow..
@@peterandjunko Robert Plant has the best voice and the best hair !!
I don't have any of their stuff. I think their sound is amazing but the songs and style just don't interest me. On the other hand, the excitement of it is impossible to deny.
Robert Plant - rock sex animal god!
Trust your instincts Lex. Your first reactions were all on point. The vocals are basically one epic orgasm.
yup. "Can we turn it up? Does it go up? Does it go any louder!?" is absolutely 100% the correct response to Led Zeppelin
She always gets it!
Lex is a natural born metalhead, she just didn't discover it before.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍
I love watching lex explode with metal joy!
Try "When the Levee Breaks" to give Lex a blast of the bluesier side of Zepp. Great song with an amazing drum line. I think you'll both get into it.
Whenever I hear the opening drum beats of " When the Levee Breaks " i just gotta crank it up !!!
This. My favorite Led Zeppelin song.
Think it would be impossible for them not to vibe with levee
I've been requesting this👆 yes please!!! 💯
I concur... the drums, harmonica, guitar... the gritty blues/rock... awesome song.
I love her reaction. The drummer was one of the greatest the Earth has ever seen. The voice is the epitome of solid rock. I appreciate the band more now than when I was young. There's nothing typical about this band
The greatest

It can be a “I like you a lot tonight” song.
"Way way down inside I'm gonna give you my love." It's not exactly subtle. Maybe love later, but for now way way down inside.
and backdoor......... am so glad i was a youth at those times, we had the best music
He does overthink the lyrics a bit doesn’t he… 😆😆😆
Let me be your back door man lol
Lex just gets it.. what can I say! She understands it at that deeper level that Page was working hard to convey. He has communicated directly to her across the distance and the decades, I assure you.
yes!
Loved seeing Lex already on board with the opening lines! Her smile and eyes said it all!
Lol as soon as he started singing she just got wild
@@galedribble9535 I know! It is very, very rare to get that kind of reaction so quickly but it does happen. It took the guitar and drum beat at the very beginning of "Tell Me" which made me into a Stones lover (yeah, I know, goin' way back but making the same point).
100% ✌
Lex gets it...
As far as talent goes, Led Zep was from another planet!!
Still out of this world. And still going past #1
Another song Zeppling ripped off and changed the name !! "You Need Love" is a song with lyrics written by American blues musician Willie Dixon. The instrumentation was first recorded by slide guitarist Earl Hooker with backing musicians. Chicago blues artist Muddy Waters later overdubbed vocals and Chess Records released it as a single in 1962. ua-cam.com/video/pM8_HuQ0b34/v-deo.html
If those 4 guys had been born in 1910, they would have revolutionized jazz and swing. Had they been born in 1965, they would have turned the '80's and '90's upside down. Most rock legends are rockers who were pretty good musicians. Led Zeppelin was 4 astounding musicians who happened to come along in the rock era.
@@jfender8023 "another"? How many out of their close to 100 songs did they? And ripped off is a stretch on the definition.
@@algoner4421 not a stretch at all. Yeah, they were good at it and talented but they basically played blues songs that other people wrote. There is nothing wrong with pointing out how much they "borrowed" from delta blues
They were, are and WILL ALWAYS BE the ultimate rock band.
Yes.
Yep. Number 1.
Sure, as long as the Beatles and Pink Floyd don't exist.

Brad must have real hearing problems if he places Plant with AC/DC! I get the feeling that the overt sexuality of this tune turns Brad off! Well, too bad for him.
"Can we turn it up?"
The perfect response to Led Zeppelin. I love how Lex's face just lit up right from the start, your reaction was just brilliant. Put a smile on my face nearly as big as yours.
P.S There are loads of great Led Zeppelin songs but one of the best for me is Kashmir. You've got to hear it.
Lex is like those people who see numbers as colors. Her reactions are so visceral. She hears sounds and immediately turns it into visuals and emotions. Awesome!
People like this should make music of their own imo.
And Brad is like....huh what? Ah yeah..I don't know what you're talking about but his hair is long..

She is genuinely wonderful.
In 1969 when this song was written, a "back door man" was the guy who left out the back door when the husband came home from work through the front door.
Nope. It means anal sex. Look it up.
The Doors.

LZ was a pretty straight ahead blues band turned up to 11 their first 2 or 3 albums. They sounded suspiciously like the Blues Breakers, basically Brits playing their version of Missippi Delta Blues. I mean their lyrics could have been written by Muddy Waters or Robert Johnson.

Instant reaction from Lex, brilliant. Her analyses absolutely nails the heart of everything she listens to.
“Back Door Man” is an old Blues term that refers to a person who slips out the back door as his side-girl’s husband opens the front door. Zeppelin was very rooted in blues music dating back to the early 1900s. Zeppelin was one of many white bands to play and expose many of the great blues artists during the 60s & 70s. This helped to restart the careers of the many blues artists of the time who were all but forgotten and therefore struggling just to get by.

@@leonardshevlin7260 for me it’s Zepp because you see where it came from (blues) and where it went (metal) in their music. Stones have some great songs, but they just do t have that depth of sound for me, even though I truly adore songs like Paint it Black.
'Back door man' just means lover. An old blues reference - the husband goes out to work through the front door and the lover comes in through the back door.

Zeppelins drummer John Bonham is considered by many to be the best ever. "In my Time of Dying" showcases his skills, He goes primal! Zep is one of the best bands of all time, tons of super hits, probably their most famous is "Stairway to Heaven". They are very blues influenced...some say they are the greatest Blues band ever!
The best ever what? Drummer???????? You know nothing about music
@@stuartbrittain7835 please check the 2nd word in my comment.
Most bands can go on and get a new drummer. After Bonham died so did LZ....And if is weren't for John P Jones there would have not been LZ. The other two jokers are just that. Hell Page ripped of Muddy Waters for this song and was sued over Stairway To Heaven
Bonham was a badass rock and blues drummer but, technically, he's not even close to the best ever. And neither is Neil Peart or Danny Carey or Ringo or Keith Moon. Trust me... Just because those dudes were in popular bands, that doesn't automatically elevate their skill levels. There are Fusion Jazz and Speed Metal drummers out there who literally laugh at the chops of conventional rock drummers. The key to Bonham's reputation was playing great on great tracks. Period.

@@joehynes5452 My absolute favourite Zeppelin song, Presence is just a masterpiece, comparable to Abbey Road.
This song was actually a blues song. The phrase "I wanna be your backdoor man" isn't what you are thinking. Howlin Wolf and even The Doors sing about being a backdoor man. As the husband was leaving for work out the front door, the lover was coming through the backdoor of the house. I really like both of your reactions! Lex is great.
"back door man" in a blues sense meant sneaking out of the back door when the husband came home....it doesn't necessarily mean the colon cavalry...

Lex you are priceless girl, I love your reactions and your taste in music is perfect."Does it go any louder" 😂 I'm wearing headphones and up as loud as it goes!😳
Just FYI: A "Back Door Man" is a woman's guy on the side. He came in the back door as her main man was heading out the front door to go to work. The phrase has been around since at least the1920s - probably earlier than that.
It's also using the other entrance when you're already inside the house.
IYKWIM
Also, the phrase was taken from the iconic blues song that was covered by the doors... backdoor man
In the words of Led Zeppelin "You know sometimes words have two meanings".
Ah, it has other meanings.....
Mark, it doesn't mean coming in the back door, it means exiting through the back door when the hubby pulls in the drive.
Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest bands of all time. Even though their music is easy to appreciate immediately I highly recommend listening to it for a few years to fully absorb just how dynamic it is. An audiophile gets an emotional response from hearing all the high defintion aspects of a song and Led Zeppelin delivers this complexity in spades.
I grew up with this band and saw them in concert twice, so there’s not much you can tell me about Zep, what I’d like to comment on is this young lady’s reaction to them.
Her level of excitement and pure joy is heartwarming, it reminds me so much of my youngest daughter when she is happy. If it is a put on, you should be an actress because this type of happiness is virtually impossible to fake.
I'm jealous. But the influence they had on the bands I grew up on is unmistakable and greatly appreciated
1st Album, listen to DAZED AND CONFUSED next, and believe me, the whole album is FIRE !
I believe they have reacted to Dazed and Confused already, this is a re-upload.
I still remember how stunned I was the first time I heard this song. Love it!
Saw them at Pirate's World in south Florida in September '69, both nights they played. Wow! When Page pulled out the violin bow for this song it blew the crowd away. I knew their music but we didn't have video back then so didn't know how he achieved that sound until seeing them live. Their power on stage was incredible.
I was at that same concert. I had only heard their first album
When the guitar returns after the long drum part, and Jimmy does that long bendy note during the break, I get an eargazm that's hard to match. To me that whole break is the peak of a perfect song.
And the superb bass of John Paul Jones makes what is already legendary, even better.
Love her reaction, it's nice to see young people enjoying the music I grew up on in my teens. We loved it too.
I just love the way lex explodes at this , reminds of being the same age as you both..and hearing it for the first time..enjoy the audiogasm!
We call it blues driven rock. You need Led Zepplin's "Lemon Song". Dazed and Confused works too.
It gets me every time I see that banner with the name spelled the way you just did. lol
This was 1969. Led Zep is roots of hard rock and metal.
Try Dazed and Confused, Kashmir, Rock & Roll and Stairway to Heaven.
Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath are the roots of hard rock and heavy metal. The Unholy Trinity.
Her best reaction ever. Epic & Honest at it's finest!
Now this is rock. Pure granite. It's so great that so many reviewers appreciate this music. The first time I heard this album I thought hell this is heavy. Plant is amazing, the band is firing in all cylinders. It's criminal that this music is not taught in schools. Radio stations need to play this classic as it can't die.
"Whole Lotta Love" was released in 1969. Like so many other British Rock bands, Zeppelin were obsessed with American Blues. They had an unapologetically sexual vibe. Great band.
And a great reaction. Your UA-cam channel rules.
I loved your enthusiastic reaction to this (Lex in particular)! Must've been a while back. They are the GOATS IMHO. Please get into When the Levee Breaks for some real pure Blues Rock. My personal fave from them. Cheers!
I experienced the 70’s as a teen and loved every minute of it, from AM to FM. Led Zeppelin defined hard rock back in those days. They were truly ground breaking. LZ played the spectrum from hard to soft and their songs still connect to me.
What an experience that must of been i wish I was there
I can only imagine the vibe. You are a lucky person.
New subscriber here... The look on Lex's face when she heard Robert Plant is priceless! You guys are awesome, rock on!
“Way way down inside I’m gonna give you my love…I’m gonna give you every inch of my love” is a dead giveaway as to what this song is about. A very powerful spell on the song too as you can see from the female reaction 😂
Literally my favorite band of all time. Y'all just earned about 60 billion brownie points with me :)
Lex got Robert Plant and the vibe of the song as soon as Plant sang "you need coolin." Right there on her face. Brilliant.
Zeppelin was the best band EVER....I'm 65 and still rock the hell out in my car..My son who is 40 has all Zeppelins music...We had albums back then and I still have mine...Listen to Black Dog and Stairway to Heaven.....The Lemon song is, well fairly suggestive but we didn't get all wound up about that back in the 70's, we just wanted Rock. Jimmy Page is one of the best guitarists ever lived and Robert Plant singing...Whewww...loved watching this
