How much for the fix ? When you say variable hi-hat do you mean continuous variable or does the fix apply to hihat like the Alesis Nitro Mesh that has 3 positions: closed, semi-open and open ?
ADDITIONAL Hihat FEATURE : You also can have an additional advanced custom feature coming with the FIX: set different velocity curves to OPEN-CLOSED-stages of your choice (I call it the "Keep It Unreal!"-approach. Example: make the closed articulations sound like a machine: output fixed low vel "A" below a physically played velocity threshold X, and then output fixed high vel "B" above the threshold)." 😊
[EDIT 1 : after the EZDr3 release 👉 Why would I still need this FIX after Toontrack released the new hihat "E-Drum Optimized" settings❓ 👉 The new EZ3 "E-Drum Optimized" feature is cool for many users BUT it's useless if you want to play fast pedal stepping (i.e. fast 8th notes pulse) without annoying ringing and at the same time maintain the option to play Pedal Splashes: "Splash Sensivity" cannot fix it because the EZ3 Pedal Splash engine (which is definitely the best and most musical out there) works with CC pedal data exclusively. So you'll still need a special fix... 🙂 ∙ EDIT 2 : after EZDr3 version 3.0.5 update (which introduces Hihat Splash improvement) 👉 Use this fix with EZ Drummer 2 __or__ if you still encounter some unwanted EZDr3 ringing on (fast) pedal stepping]

Will this work with a Alesis Nitro Mesh with EZ Drummer 3? I’ll buy your fix right away!
sure (if your module sends pedal data)

EZ3 provides 8 positions 😊. Please get in touch (my FB forum or email) for detailed information. Thanks.

Great job
Hi. Is this fix still available? I'm struggling with hihat settings on a TD17 and EZD2. Thanks.
Sure. Just get in touch :)
Would love to know how to achieve this fix. Drives me crazy on SD3!
It is achieved by complex midi editing. Just contact me if you want the fix. :)
@@becausedrumgeek8817 OK I’m not sure how to contact you though because there’s no contact button on UA-cam.
@@kickstar1 use the FB forum facebook.com/groups/579177292995927 or email me (address is on the "About Page" when you're logged in YT)
Joining the FB Group to get the fix. Is it a file addition or third party software?
It's a DAW project file which contains the fix engine. No additional software required. :)

So EZ Drummer 3 should work fine with Roland VH 10 Hi Hat? I'm thinking about buying EZ3

Umm so how exactly did you do this?
by using my VSTi-drumming know-how/skills :)
@becausedrumgeek8817 no explanation though eh? What's the point in showing video with no instruction....
BTW: in order to check the sound differences of each engine : Headphones recommended! :)
