It was growing great for 3 years and I thought I can finally let it climb up a pole to become majestic but, well, plants have their own idea haha. Thanks for watching 🙂 I'm so excited about your new channel 😀
They are sooo prune to root rot, I think changing it to the Glaze pot, when it was happy in the ceramic was probably what did it. too much moisture retention now. Thats so sad. Hopefully it wasnt too expensive and you can get a new baby and try again!!
Unfortunately, the original pot was becoming too small for the massive growth, but yes I do think the new pot was a bit too big and it was swimming in all that potting medium (and water). Lesson learnt. It was my most expensive plant to date! But that's ok, prices now are much lower. Maybe, some day, I will give it another shot. Thanks for watching and feedback 🙂
@guywithaplant I struggle with the ordinary green monstera. So, I can't say anything, but they are known to rot easily. You kept it alive for a long time.
My 1st houseplant was a green Monstera deliciosa. It was real hardy but very susceptible to scale insects too, which is a real pain to get rid of. I wonder is there an easy way to prevent or remove them.
