This repotting of my huge Monstera Thai constellation is loooong overdue. Join me on my most back breaking plant chore 😅 Should I even do so with a new leaf unfurling?
No necessarily so. Some plants prefer more water retentive potting medium and that makes it impractical to use such chunky mixes. Depends on the type of plants, how much you water them and also the type of pots too (terracotta pots will lose water faster, so loose potting mix + terracotta pot will dry out the plants very quickly). Some plants like epiphytic Philodendrons need to dry but Begonias, Calatheas etc need to be moist most of the time. So really depends.

Beautiful sharing friend
Thank you 😊
Ooooh. That's huge!
Haha, ya man
Wah bro. I cannot imagine having to lift that to water 😳 imagine it grew 1m taller with more massive leaves. Nice to see it’s progress!
Ya man. I was trying to lift the new pot with all its potting medium and boy is it heavy! Tbh, I haven't thought of a way to water it. 😅
👍 👍 👍 😊

Grow up already!
Yes, gonna chop it up soon too 😝
@Guy With A Plant these types of soiless potting mix are good for all types of plants?
