i liked the stimulus part o your drill ..it enforces and develops the muscle memory to move back when your opponent tries to punch you ...and you can return with your own counter
Very similar to my movement training in Fencing, which is also very similar to what Bruce Lee does everyday, which also made him of the Top 3 competitors in Cha Cha dancing competitions in HK. Marvellous video, sir👍
Many outstanding drills. Good tools to become a well rounded boxer. Thank you sir. I've known many boxers who did not do drills enough. They were lazy.
Nice, very clear explanation with actual demo. I love boxing and i want to use by protecing myself from the harsh and bully people. I think footwork is the key to be a defensive in boxing at the same time for being offensive.
Nice and simple but effective if practiced (which a lot of people don't (including me!!!)) Love the precise explanations and demonstrations as always! Could you make a short about going back and then to the side with a counter? I go back ok but still don't change direction very well after one or two steps back. I feel like I'm stuck on a rail track and think it's probably to do with my balance! MT.
Ba Ba Ba Ba! 😂 Move very good and technical like a machine.. Very interesting topic i download it to my phone so i can get access to it whenever i want
Awesome drill coach very helpful I have been looking for drills to improve my prove my 10 year old speed thank you. I would like to see you demonstrate the Lomachenko pivot sidestep.
hello Charles at footwork the back foot he is only on the metatarsal or at no time he can put the foot flat on the ground moving in the footwork without blows
I played soccer at a serious level and I was a winger who did a bunch of step overs an dribbling so it gave me fast feet already. I just had to apply the technique in boxing
Hey coach great channel. I know that this channel Is just for boxing but what of elements would you recommend to teach for teeneger who would like to defend himself in school and can't visit boxing classes.
1. If you are being bullied let someone know about it. 2. I can train you online. 3. Try to master other disciplines with boxing such Muay thai and BJJ.
Thank you again Sir for a scintific videos. Please make video on hand control of opponent and postioning of a boxer against southpaw and northpaw...me as ortodox boxer
is it always better to avoid the blow with our footwork than to block it? I mean, do you recommend that it is better to be playing all the time, go out, go in, go out and be an unpredictable target?
Avoiding the punching is certainly better to frustrate your opponent and cayse him to fatigue but you should sometimes slip when he makes an attempt to over reach because you move out to avoid the punches.
Haven't seen anyone teach footwork drills like you do. Footwork is key! Implementing combos can come later
6:12 You know he's fast when his footwork sounds like someone's working the speed bag. Awesome work as usual
I'm still quick but age has dulled my sharpness in reacting 😉👍🏾
@@Charlessalbox I think you are 39?
I still would not diss you!
This is outstanding. You did it amazingly as well, people don’t realize how much practice it takes to get that crisp.
You are increasing our love for the noble art of boxing Coach!!! Much love from Marrakech
brilliant. and he shows only a small percentage of what they usually train
Correct 🎯
I am a boxer from Mongol ... Now trying to get back into indian Boxing ... Your drills are really technical, I am working out those daily
i liked the stimulus part o your drill ..it enforces and develops the muscle memory to move back when your opponent tries to punch you ...and you can return with your own counter
primera vez que oigo a un cubano (si no entendí mal) hablar en un perfecto acento britanico... y encima con excelentes tecnicas! gracias!

Fntastic drill thanks coach!
My coach tells me to push with my back foot when I jab because it’s faster and it’s a better jab
👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Sir you should learn to jab going backwards, sideways, diagnol, & forward. There is no right or wrong way to do anything. Just a time a place. 🫵😊
How would you get power on the cross like a 1-2 ?
Niice video again coach I had to come back to this one for drill practicing

Any advice on being more loose en fast in the ring? my coach keeps complaining about me not being fast enough.
Reminds of fencing drills, part of so called "largo mano"
Actually you are right. I had a fencing team training in front of the boxing gym before Covid and their drills were extremely similar.
What about adding weights to your body? Would that help you think?
cha cha cha, slide... moonwalk and repeat
Very useful.
