So I bought one of my dream cars a 1991 Range Rover Classic and over the next 8 weeks I'm going to be restoring this 30 year old classic into a completely new car. Follow along and subscribe so you don't miss any of the weekly episodes on Sundays @ 6pm.
We are officially half way through the build! In this fourth Episode we are finally painting the underside + wheel arches of the RRC. Throw in some laughs and a new exhaust system arrival and we've got Episode 4. Enjoy the ride!

Just wanted to say great job. You’re creating a masterpiece of a series, for a masterpiece of car and it’s literally the first video I look for on Monday morning. Great to see the progress as we get to the business end of the build now.
I’ve been watching with my Dad as about 6 weeks ago I too, just like you purchased an 1988 RRC with a view to creating my ideal car. This episode was particularly good viewing for me and we are also at the point of putting on the new shocks, springs, breaks etc… Your video has been a great benchmark to ensure we’re on the right tracks. Keep it up and can’t wait to see your finished product. I’m sure it will bring many years of enjoyment.

Love the banter between the three of you. Once your done help them get setup with UA-cam, I’d subscribe to watch them. Love how they mess with each other and the southern accent just adds to it.

Some great work and those two guys are just brilliantly funny.
Still don't understand why the frame was not dropped given the facilities in that workshop to make a 100% finish. But each to their own.
Great work in a great car. Still not 100% convinced about the paint choice for the wheel arches. Still need to wait for the final product and probably even a bit later, once you have used and abused the car for a while. Congrats anyway. What an amazing car!!
Loving this series Steve, it's a dream of mine to do something similar with my Suzuki Samurai. Cost + Time are the major factors, not to mention finding a garage willing to mentor me along the way. For now, vicarious living will suffice!
Great video as always, a bit late to watch it this week, this is one of the highlights of my week, can't wait to see this when it's done, you will have to do some serious road trips in it!

Just found your channel and I'm enjoying seeing another iconic car being given the love it deserves. I've been a fan of Range Rovers for years so much so I have two of my own but P38's not classics. Are you still planning to paint the rear quarter finishers in body colour, only asking as you will lose the floating roof effect that has been a design constant on all range rovers from the classics like yours right up to present day. Either way you and the guys are doing a great job.
Is it wrong that I closed down another video when I got the notification that the new Booker movie was up..? Another great one mate , looking forward to seeing the beast ......🙏🙏

Where did you get the suspension leveling unit rebuilt? Have an 88 RRC classic that needs that repair.

Those exhaust manifolds should be equal length, but they don't appear to be. If they were, you might get a hp increase.

Guys are the jack stands' location safe? Because as far I remember they are recommended to be placed under the chassi not the body.
Can you tell me what company that exhaust/headers is from?
All that work and pro-comp shocks? Spend a little more and get something better, its worth it.

First paint job in 30 years? So it was repainted when it was about twenty years old? That’s a 1970 vehicle isn’t it? So it’s fifty years old?
It’s the 2nd round H Reg plate so it’s 1991 so the car is 30 years old in total
Ah.... got you Steve...it is a first generation, but a very late one. Probably one of the best ones to do. Andrew at 4x Overland is doing a rebuild on a 75 classic, but with the financial backing of Sheikh Hamad bin Hamad Al Nhayan from Sharjah Off Road History museum, so that should be a good one to watch too.

Stick with the Original Gold, Or go to A Superb Old Range Rover Colour,
Or Go Very Modern .
WHITE is SHITE. White Lowers the Value of EVERY CAR. NO EXCEPTIONS.
There is NEVER a Valid Reason to Paint Any Car White, OR Black. ( Unless it's a CSK ) 2 dr.

I'd go Period Rangey Colour Cairngorm Brown Metallic. Or Westminster Grey, For Class & Quality. maybe Plymouth blue ?

White Cars are almost as unsaleable as Austin -Rover SANDGLOW. a vile colour. & Ford Terracotta / or Laquer Red.
The Best Colour for Most cars is Ford venus Gold ( 1982 era ) Glacier Blue, or Crystal Green. or Champagne gold.
