    I've only just tonight had your videos pop up. LOVE what you're doing! Without UA-cam I would never know that Sweden was such a beautiful country filled with such beautiful people! You can call that stew or soup or whatever, it looked delicious.

    The "STEW" looked amazing. Around these parts we would make up some corn bread to break up in it, but looks about like the beef stew we make.

      J. Fielden Thanks for your comment! I use to round up with maizena (same thing?), i had it with me but did not mix it in. When i tasted of the ”stew” i decided to go with as ”soupl 😂🍵🥄

    I cut off the unusable knife edge of the spork and sanded it down a bit. so it is now much more comfortable to eat with the fork side.

      I agree! Very relaxed cooking , chop, fry, pour in beer, water and spices. Then Chill out while it cools on it's own... ☝️😁🍺💪 tastes awesome.

      Hi Tim, No since i chopped all in small pieces it cooked ready in 30 minutes. Just what a top filled burner could handle. I hade one extra burner ready though if needed. Thanks for your kind words, there will be more outdoor cooking! Insaw this topic today at Trangia Owners group on FB. 👌🏻😁

    Super simple outdoor cooking. Have you ever tried to bake anything in the large billy pot like a Dutch oven?

    • @Braapncamp
      @Braapncamp  5 років тому

      No, i have never tried that. Could be a prooject, do You have any tip on that? I cheated and did bake off bread for breakfast in one of the 27 standard pot this weekend though... 😂

      Mattias Eriksson I am wondering how to spread the heat evenly throughout the billy pot. Maybe place a few small pebbles on the bottom of the pot and then place a smaller Trangia pot inside with the cake batter, then cover with the billy pot lid. I am not sure about the baking time. Going to try it on my weekend camping trip.

      Jan please do, i'm curious! A video would be great 💪🏻 i think you are right with puting 3 small stones in the bottom to lift up a smaller pot inside. Last weekend i did bake off vread in the 27 with alu folio in the bottom of one small pot.

    was the pot you used in this video made by Trangia as well?

    • @Braapncamp
      @Braapncamp  4 роки тому

      Yes, it is the Trangia 2.5 litre billy pot. The 27 stove fits into it perfectly. A 25 stove fits perfectly in the 4.5 litre billy pot.
