I use to be a savage when it comes to my fridge😂 I had 10 bags of fries 4 bags of onion rings, corn dogs, frozen pizzas and ice cream sandwiches and chicken nuggets, cake, pies and fried chicken. But when I look at it I didn't have a care in the world at all but then. once I was diagnosed with prediabetes after my blood test and I was informed by my doctor on the phone. And I had to change my whole prospective about my life and starting to eat healthier and do what I can to stick with Protein, vegetables Bake chicken,Turkey,Fish,Tuna Fish. And exercise and drank water and it helped me to get right back on track to where my blood sugar levels are normal and be on the safer side. But other than that Thanks for the video and I have to tell you the truth if I would of watch this video especially when I was consumed with unhealthy foods I would of found this highly offensive and be like what there's nothing wrong with me eating ice cream somebody needs to press charges because what you are saying is Criminal😂 but Thank God I change my Ways and focusing more on staying alive and see a couple more birthdays in the future.

Every single one of these foods that you listed have negative impacts not only on blood sugar, but blood pressure as well. My question is, how do you prepare meals with without these kinds of additives and non-GMO non-MSG nontoxic and non-processed in anyway food.? I think that’s the biggest thing that every single person who is trying to battle, hypertension, or diabetes. So I would really really really love love love an answer. And thank you so much for putting this information out there. I just kind of wanna know the next piece to it, because that is where I think I’m struggling, the most is how to prepare all of this food Out having to rely upon something being made for me at the grocery store.

Rule 1: Don't let other people do your cooking, including corporations. Their interests may not match your own.
Rule 2: Purchase single ingredient foods. (water doesn't count as an ingredient) Don't get hung up on terms like "organic" or "non-GMO". They are marketing buzz terms that don't mean what you think they do. (they do NOT mean "healthier") Some processing is fine, as long as it's the same as you would have done at home, such as slicing and dicing. (you don't have to grind your own almond flour)
Rule 3: Don't buy the things you can not have. If it's not in your house, staring you in the face, it won't tempt you.
Rule 4: Buy ALL the herbs and spices. They will make your food taste so good. Just remember Rule 2, and stay away from spice blends (most contain added sugar and/or salt). Make your own spice blends, instead. Read up on what spices are traditionally used in various regional and foreign cuisines, and play around with them on your ordinary, boring foods, to make them taste more exotic. A simple cabbage stir-fry can be dressed up in so many ways, just by using different combinations of herbs and spices.
Rule 5: Stop thinking about the things you can not have and focus your attention on ALL the things you CAN have. Combine them in new and interesting ways. Don't be afraid to try new vegetables. Don't be afraid to try old recipes with bad ingredients removed, and replaced with good stuff. Before you know it, you'll have so many NEW good things to eat, that won't harm your health, that you will hardly miss the old garbage foods that you can't have any more.
Rule 6: Give yourself TIME. Many years of eating junk not only harms your body, but also harms your palette. You won't like the less sweet foods, you won't like the less salty foods...at first. Once your brain gets used to the idea that this is how it is going to be from now on, you won't really notice the lack of salt and sugar, any more.

I’m wanting to get with you on a subject I haven’t seen you address. I’ve had two knee replacements and then had one repaired after I fell & split the incision open. The problem? Pain control with kidney disease. There are laws in place to control the number of oxycodone or similar medications that can be prescribed. But kidney patients don’t get Celebrex that normal people get to help. Nor are we to take ibuprofen or Aleve. I did with the first one & ended up with fluid overload and a hospitalization. Second time-no ibuprofen but still had a hospitalization because I was in so much pain I couldn’t maintain the diuretics. So I’m interested in seeing if there are any research projects for safe pain medication for kidney patients? Is there a way to get involved with requesting such research? I’m getting desperate, because they want to replace my shoulder but I’m not interested yet!
