    Fun exploring some of your older content :) By the way, I did try out your recent tutorial. Didn't quite get close, but had some fun trying. I think I need to develop my qdr hold for it... I've been trying that a bit, I can hold it briefly on my right side.. But if I cartwheel into it, first of all I don't manage to get the changing position of the feet while in the air, but also whenever I land in the qdr from a cartwheel drill I just let my hand slip to the floor rather than hold it, cuz I think I can sense that I can't hold it and would injury my wrist. I think maybe cuz I have too much speed from my cartwheel so it's too much velocity to hold the position sort of. :p Anyways, I'm alright with not developing it right away. :)

    awesome awesome work man. how did you go with the recovery for 2 a day workouts?

    • @agrifforama
      @agrifforama  4 роки тому

      Handstands and loco were fine same day but the straight arm and bent arm sessions were far more taxing so they needed their own days. Bent arm ring sessions would give me decent doms for a few days.

    Hi Ahron,
    Love your Channel!
    May I ask, what do you do in your straight arm session?

    • @sason39
      @sason39 4 роки тому

      And what is the duration of your sessions?

    • @agrifforama
      @agrifforama  4 роки тому

      I have been using stalder press progressions on my straight arm days in the current phase. At the moment I am working the stalder negatives from an elevated position. I have worked straight arm planche drills previously but not in this current phase. My sessions typically take 60 to 70 minutes.

    Hello Aron, first of all thank you for share your training, It is very interesting.
    I have seen that only do rings once a week, It is because you want to focus in your handstand?

    • @agrifforama
      @agrifforama  4 роки тому +1

      Hi David, in this particular 8 week phase I was only on the rings once a week as I was also training Handstands and locomotion in my weekly schedule. Each 8 weeks it changes slightly.

    • @ARREANEENE
      @ARREANEENE 4 роки тому +1

      And I supose that you work legs with the locomotion no?

    • @agrifforama
      @agrifforama  4 роки тому +1

      @@ARREANEENE that's right man. In this phase I would do locomotuon 2-3 times a week and in that session I have some dragon squat progressions as well as the low to the ground loco drills which cook my legs pretty good. I really enjoy loco and have made it a focus to improve.

    Hi Aaron ..
    I saw your workout plan.
    2 times per day .. almost everyday.
    How do you maintain hi level of energy and avoid muscle fatigue?

    • @agrifforama
      @agrifforama  4 роки тому

      I find you can compliment certain sessions on one day if you want. For example I can do handstands in the morning but then do locomotion in the afternoon. I also don't overdo each session by not going to failure on strength work and practice at 2 levels below my best effort and I don't get as sore as maxxing out. Practicing gives me energy so I find on the days I practice more I'll have more energy.

    • @sason39
      @sason39 4 роки тому

      @@agrifforama I see.. interesting.. According to your approach you never train to failure, so then you don't need to take for long periods of rest.
