    What an awesome way of encouraging movement and improving mobility and stability, strength, flexibility, and freedom. If you ever come to New Zealand I need to know about it.

    I know the feeling! The specific knowledge seems to be pretty well guarded from the broke and half-hearted. If you're geographically advantaged I'd say just save up and wait for your chance to attend. Meanwhile just use the videos as inspiration to keep learning and improving in every form of movement you're interested in until you just rock at it. You probably need to be at least on that level to really benefit.

    Just read up on Ido's training ideologies and philosophy and it's actually so refreshing. Makes me question why the hell I go to the gym... Is there anything like this in London? It's exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for right now.

    Interesting. Clearly the strength and balance are real and impressive. Clearly it's all kind of weird. It is an approach. Probably not the type thing you want to make too regimented, but incorporate aspects in and out on a practical, daily basis.

      +Matt Kelly Only if you overdo it. Try it yourself at low height - worst case scenario you just release and drop down on your feet.

      +Matt Kelly It's called a german hang. It's at the end of the range of motion in a skin the cat. Just play with StC until you get comfortable at that range of motion then you can spend more time there.

      The core, if not most of it, is capoeira and gymnstics (but mostly capoeira). If you can find these in your area I'd really ecourage you to give it a shot. You'll practice everything from lizard walks, handstands, flips and rings to "touch butt and mopping the floor with your body"

    • @kesa1986
      @kesa1986 7 років тому

      Shparto thanks it's so funny because only after searching and searching I realised it's capoeira - so I've started now 🙏🏼
