THANKS TO AUDI SOUTH COAST!
The 2019 Audi A8 is an excellent new luxury sedan -- and today Doug is reviewing the 2019 Audi A8 to show you why it's so great. He is taking an in-depth look at the new A8 and he is driving the Audi A8 in a comprehensive review.

So quick story, this video was uploaded on doug's main channel about 3-4 years ago, and as mentioned in the video, it was an EU spec a8. Everything went well as usual until one day audi took the video down. One day a redditor on r/cars made a post saying why is the a8 video missing. Another redditor replied saying audi took it down, then doug responded to the other redditor with a mini rant (www.reddit.com/r/cars/comment.... The russian dub version of this review is still up, but the fans of doug were wondering what happend to the english version. So I decided to search up if the english version was still up in other platforms, and suprisingly dailymotion had the english version still up. So I figured a way out to download videos from dailymotion and decided to upload it here.
Side Note: Doug thankfully managed to redo the entire review with the audi s8, plus it was an US spec s8 (so no worries about copyright strikes), so it is kinda pointless to reupload this review, considering that he redid it with the s8, but I decided to upload this regardless because their are some doug fans are still curious about what happend to this review. - Авто та транспорт
Thanks for the reupload! I really wanted to see it, so this was helpful
My 2012 is becoming a 2019 soon!
For anyone wondering why this video was taken down, read the description.
Thanks for uploading this!
Worth $50,000 in 2024
I've seen some for sale that are close to $30K.
Those motorized dash vents add a level of complexity to the car that is unprecedented!!!! WHY????? Just WHY does it have to be this complicated? 😡😡😡
It's a throwback to the VW Phaeton which had similar vents that would disappear and reappear.
Well that was worth 24mins of my life. Great Job and a true deep dive about this vehicle. Thanks
Ayyy thanks man do you know when this was uploaded
Yeah come 2030 I’ll be ready to purchase it
In Singapore, this car (3 liters version) costs 400k US dollars. Lol.
of course it's COE's fault. In Singapore, people are encouraged to walk or to take public transportation because Singapore is tiny but it is a rich country. So to prevent traffic jams there, it is only a solution to control or limit car ownership. But I agree with that
GOOD JOB ON THE REUPLOAD. SUBBED
thanks fr the re-upload
My pleasure
Thank you!
Shame it never went viral, especially the scene with demonstrating the audio buttons
What ever happened to this video?
The first flash of the indicators looks to be the whole of the section on the boot (trunk, sorry English) lid. That part alone looks bigger than Tesla indicators (Turn signals, sorry English again), Hopefully you'll get them as they are.

Me gusta Audi para mi familia
Why he dropped the video ?
Well, Audi took down this exact video...
myyyyyyy corvete is worth 200k and its one of a kind. oh boy...
Which corvette costs that much? Who scammed you my guy LOL
I really like those rims. They weren’t offered on U.S. A8s.
It's not worth 100k anymore. It's worth 40k now. How ironic.
okay? like all the luxury cars lol
@@v____l exactly, it has a lot of mechanical issues. Not reliable at all.
okay, I would buy it now. I lf I have a money
@@jeancarlorabino6454 Don't buy the used. Go new or nothing. If you can afford the repairs then buy used.
It's funny how I'm looking at one and it's $36k
Theirs no way it's worth it those things depreciate about 10,000+ a year. I would pick one up in a few years but not brand new.
@Lamont Waters
After the warranty is up, I would budget $5000-7000 per year owning one of these for repairs and maintenance.
@@turnne I would just get one with a extended warranty. Under a extended warranty it's somewhat of a bargain. But like I said new it makes no sense.
@@lamontwaters510 There are a couple of " gotchas" with buying an extended warranty on a car like this. If its not factory the warranty will not cover many of the parts on cars these complicated. For instance some of them expressly will not cover any components of the laser cruise control. On this car the sensors can be $4000 ( each side). If you buy a CPO car depending on the time you bought it...if early in its life you still have the depreciation to deal with...if later you probably only have a couple of years of available warranty and then the repairs are on you
Bottom line..there is no free lunch
You can tell that Doug was being really negative on audi after they took down this video.
Putting mechanical and electrical complexity into something so vital and necessary as air vents isn't great. There are parts of the world where you can die in a car without air conditioning but Audi is projecting it's not concerned about the health and safety of owners which is out of step with so much else on the car. This is from a car company known for reliability problems - VW. The hubris in this design is honestly creepy.
I often see people, ridicule, technology, and while it’s true. The simpler things are the less likely things will break however, if all engineers thought that way, we would not push the envelope in the progression of mankind. There’s always a chance something can go wrong, but then again who needs a $100,000 car? That’s a choice. If someone wants something simple, you can buy a strip down Honda accord or civic or something of that sort.
This is car much more looks like from 2009 rather than 2019. same old styling. good for uncles maybe
These cars have about 50 different modules and are plagued with problems from brand new. Even the dealership can't repair these vehicles. Problems with water intrusion and leaks, transmission problems, you're lucky if this car makes it to 100K miles.
shhh the young ones must suffer with VAGina products like we did. else they will never learn. dont warn them, let them find out while riding in the tow truck
but since mentioned dealers.. VAGina dealers are the rudest most incompetent and disinterested people ever. from sales to service you will be met with nothing but disdain. and audi/vw never has a random part you need in stock, anywhere. not even in germany.
no audi is worth its price.
Wtaf :DD offers more for money than MB.
None
sure. and 2 years down all parts are discontinued. meanwhile 40 years later you can get most parts for any MB. and if its a designated classic model, it has forever support. @@Wulf44445
Really??
Elaborate, if you will 🤔
@CaucasianGOhuh?D
are you joking? stealing video from Doug Demuro. You are reported
Kinda, but not exactly stolen. It was taken down by Audi and reuploaded here. Have a look at the description.
Audi is not good.
⭕Poor quality in material and manufacturing, especially in non-visible places.
⭕Cheap electronics made in China.
⭕Unreliable software.
⭕Terrible value for money.
Conclusion:
Driving Audi is not fun but trouble! 👎😠
You are lunatic
Utter nonsense. I have a 2019 Audi A8 and it is absolutely magnificent. I have has Mercedes and BMW in the past and this is far superior.
@@raymondancill1501 2019? Wait a little more until you will discover its poor and dirty secrets 😁
@@raymondancill1501 I have a d4 A8 right now. I want to get a D5 so so badly. What engine do you have and do you think its enough power?
@@raymondancill1501 same, I couldn’t agree more. Was less impressed with my bmws and Mercedes’ then my previous generation a8.
