Now that I have spent a bit of time with the A8, time to give it a proper review and go a bit more in-depth on why I bought a depreciated 2019 A8L! This car has so much technology and luxury, and given the original $100k+ MSRP and mere 10k miles, I think it is a fantastic deal at $50,000. I am definitely looking forward to having this as my daily driver and winter car (especially cause of the heated arm rests...am I getting too soft?). Enjoy this first proper review of my A8L!

No road noise or wind sound definitely one of the quietest UA-cam road test videos I’ve ever seen

As a German I love it when people realize how much effort we germans put into our cars. no matter if it's the luxery or the budget segment

I love the design of Audi cars. Elegant and timeless.

I have the same care basically without the rear wheel steering. I paid $48 for mine and it is CPO'd for a 100k mi warranty and 2 extra years. I can't say enough how much I LOVE this car!! On road trips it is AMAZING! Around town, it is AMAZING. It is the most comfortable car I have ever driven. FYI this car with the 55 TFSI has been clocked at 0-60 at 5.1s stock. It is definitely understated and people don't realize how long this care is. But it does fit in my garage lol. And the Quattro system is amazing, I went drifting in my car last winter.

I'm with you Eddie. I've had several big sedans and I've never opted for the performance versions. They are about comfort and cush. Get the certified pre-owned a few years old and you are golden. Get it fully loaded and enjoy guilt-free.

Bought my 2015 A8 in 2017 as a CPO with 28k miles on it for about $54k all in. Still have and still love it now with over 100k on it. Still no serious issues, still feels much newer than it actually is.

We have had our fully loaded 2012 Audi A8L since new. V-8 It has 180,000 miles and the engine still runs like new. We’ve always had the scheduled maintenance done at Audi. We occasionally take it out locally to the store. It’s been a very good car. If well maintained it will not disappoint. But… be ready to lay out some major cash for any repair. That’s why it depreciates so fast.

I would love for you all to update your experiences with these cars three years AFTER you buy them, and see if you are just as excited about them then. Many people (including me) have had poor experiences with CPO German luxury cars (Mercedes, BMW, Audi), including having major repair bills, maintenance headaches, recalls, and other problems. Not to mention continued rock-like depreciation. And many people have also had problems with these cars that turn out to be "wear and tear" items, or other issues, NOT covered by the CPO warranty, and costing big bucks to fix. Don't get me wrong - I'm rooting for you! But it would be helpful for others considering doing the same thing to get your feedback "down the line" and see how you feel about your purchase 2-3 years later (not just immediately after buying the car). Thanks!

    Awesome review!

Just came across your channel and i see youve had some HEAT in your vids. Def going to binge watch all of them tonight😂

  • @phoenixrising011

Agreed. CPO German is where it's at right now. I went with a Panamera Turbo and saved 100,000.00 over new. Car is warrantied bumper to bumper to 100,000, mi and is indistinguishable from new. No brainer, best bang for the buck, realistically manageable vehicles. The superior quality of the German luxury is immediately noticeable when compared to Ford, Dodge or Chevy. And they're the same price as a new pickup truck. Absolutely outstanding service too. Your loaner is a brand new Porsche. Never needed it though.

I’ve been playing the used luxury depreciation game for years. It’s the only smart financial way to get into these cars. And three years from now you can get out of it for $35-40k which makes it cheaper than leasing a civic. Nicely bought.

I’m 26 and I’ve had my Avalon hybrid since I was 22. Got the same comments about being a grandpa because I decided to go with it, im at 56k miles and I love it. Full size sedans are so underrated in the car enthusiast space!

  • @nevinkuser9892

She's a beauty. I liked the volvo s60 because it was so insanely comfortable but this is nice for sure. Good on you man.

  • @notsolegitgarage2967

I just bought a 2015 A8L that I’ve been wanting for a few years now and now I’m already looking at the new generation, love yours in black too

  • @devalraval007

Love it Eddie, keep the content coming on A8L. I am in the market for W12 but older generation. Lovely vehicles!

  • @ponchantos

Thank you for talking about the Audi A8. I think its the best bank for buck in luxury after depreciation. Unfortunately my 2019 I bought brand new and paid the premium price but I never regretted it one bit. Ride comfort luxury hard to beat. And like you said so understated

  • @louisvl10

classic black german sedan look maxxed, really nice car, well meaned congratz man. i got myself a 2019 bmw 5 with similar styling, bmw 7 or audi a8 level was a little too expensive for me and also scary given the massive amount of electronic bells and whistles that can potentially break down.
