I have suffered with dry eyes for years due to Sjogrens Syndrome. In the last 60 days I took your advice and started eating lots of bacon. I put a teaspoon of bacon grease each cup of hot tea. I also began sleeping with a Hand towel covering my eyes at night. I have seen great improvement. I no longer awake with eye pain. I started strength training, no sugar, no caffeine and I have lost 10 total inches in 60 days. I'm 74 and determined to be healthy. Thanks for all you do.

I've recently tried castor oil on my eye lashes to gently get it into my eyes. It has helped quite a bit.
As a side note, my husband has been having sharp near pain in his knee for months. The doctors are stumped. After watching a UA-cam video, I put the oil on a 4x4' gauze, wrapped a bit of plastic wrap around it yo keep the oil ftom getting on things, and then a knee sleeve over that. He hasn't needed oxycodone for three nights now! And in the morning, his pain was completely gone. After suffering for months, we are very thankful. 🙏🏼
      All the best.

I'm 64 year old woman who needs to lose at least 100 pounds. I've started the carnivore diet this week after watching Dr. Berry's and others videos. So excited to do this. My goal is to do it for at least a month and assess my health and keep going if I feel it's going well. After just a few days I feel lighter and my skin seems softer and more clear. I think I'm probably in a bit of a detox from sugar and carbs, but I'm very much thrilled with how full and satisfied I feel. Thank you Dr Berry! I plan to check back in with my results after a month. 🙏❤️👍

Yeah I'm addicted now.. had chronic debilitating nerve-pain for a third of my life that doctors kept getting me to spend tens of thousands on 'managing'... until I found the root cause and was able to **cure** it through lifestyle change... then followed the *actual resolution* of many PTSD triggers through inner-work and lifestyle change instead of medications to manage symptoms (I'm happier than ever and take no medications whatsoever to feel that way), I corrected my chronic eczema and dry eyes by adjusting my diet, etc... nobody told me I could be perfectly healthy all on my own if I knew what lifestyle changes to make. I feel so much more free and empowered these days and take pride in being responsible for my own health!

It's better than get vitamins through your diet but do you want to gain weight and change your diet? Sure . Well you should if your diet it too much carbs and worse sugar, in particular.
So believer me you should eat right but take more supplements of fish oil, omega 6 (if you have my diet, you will need it.. he's talk about those who eat a lot of junk food, etc) , olive oil , lutein, zeaxanthin. Or go out to the west coast for the perfect salmon.
There are studies underway that indicate choline is good for Meibomian gland dysfunction. Glutathione supplements could help or go ahead take a lot of time to eat the right foods. Take Spermidine - read up on it first, don't trust me or Ken . B12 (not synthetic) can possibly help. Check with you doctor first but eat eggs, don't worry about the cholesterol; Ken is right.
Also they have a new eye product .. called Travaya .. may not be as expensive as you read. Look into it. I have nothing to do with the company. Look into eye drops. Just be careful

Thank you always for your knowledge and expertise. I found you a year and a half ago and went on the keto living. I lost 40 pounds and as a female I feel awesome. My husband lost 55 pounds and he looks and feels great. Thank you. However, I just awaken with pain in my right eye and did not know why. I felt like I had sand in my eye and my eyes are so tired and I feel exhausted so I have to close them in the middle of the day so I can continue with my day. I went to the eye doctor and he suggested lubricate eye drops but I am applying them 6 seven times a day. As you said, the sand feeling in my eye has disappeared but my eyes ache with pain and I need to close my eyes or take a nap. I also have high cholesterol of over 400 and my doctor wants me to stop keto but I feel that my cholesterol is hereditary and it is always going to be high. I am a mess right now and so confused. I am increasing my omega with fish such as salmon and I hope I will feel better by the end of April.
Again, I am lost for words. I stopped all medication for high cholesterol and I feel great. I can do my walks, I can sleep, I am no longer inflamed, and my body aches have disappeared. Thank you for all your insights and knowledge. I will increase my omega intake and hope this eye dry can at least subside or disappear.

Anyone who thinks supplements are totally unnecessary is usually wrong. Hundreds of human studies show how helpful they can be, particularly for those with limited diets. I understand that omega 3s have no value but Triglyceride Omega 3s in human studies show benefits for dry eyes though it's not going to make or break and they cost a lot more so I would not recommend it. I have found that Lacterrifin capsules and alpha lipoic acid (200 mg daily) is effective but don't take 600 mg or your hair can fall out. Glycine supplements can help and collagen can help. There is a Preservative Free eye ointment with manuka honey and glycerin that has really helped severe eye dryness. Squeezing not blinking my eyes helped me produce tears.

My eye docs never speak about what Dr. B. just said, and he's not an eye doctor. I am eating high fat and am losing weight, as it keeps me from getting hungry.

For about 2 weeks, I was putting hot, wet clothes on my eyes, then massaging my kids, as the article I read suggested. It was helpful to do this, but I still had some issues. Just this past week, I moved to only 10 or fewer carbs a day and eating more fatty foods. And my eyes have felt great!! Unwittingly, I have done what you suggested. But now I know to follow this continually, as I NEVER want to face this eye issue again. Not only did it feel bad, but my eyes were looking tired and red, and really aged me on the worse days!! I think this is all good advice, however there is one extra thing I had to do which then suddenly made the big difference to my dry eyes: get rid of demodex mites. These mites live on most people, they actually live INSIDE the meibomian glands and only emerge in darkness to mate and then return back inside again. They cause the oil to clog. When I wake up in darkness I get a tea tree oil wipe and get rid of them. It sounds bizarre but it is completely true. There are demodex removal wipes specifically made for this.

The best thing I’ve done is cut carbs, hence Keto, and now almost Carnivote. The increase in animal fat, and having my own chickens laying beautiful eggs has helped tremendously.

My mom(68yrs old)has been suffering for a decade. She told me the other day that after taking marine based collagen for 8 months she started seeing the results for her eye dryness & hair thickness. She did not expect this because she initially started taking it for her face & arthritis. According to her her usage of lubricant drop significantly dropped to 3x/day from 15x/day & her hair would fall off like crazy but now her hair strands are not only thicker also not falling off as much. Even her hairstylist mentioned that her hair got fuller & didn’t fall oof as much while he was styling her hair.

I had outpatient surgery 3 days ago to remove a tumor on my uterus, no cancer. I ended up staying an extra couple of days bc my internal organs were out of place with scar tissue and it ended up being a more complicated surgery. Since I wasn’t expecting to stay I didn’t have my lid wipes or anything. Ever since, my eyes seem cured of dry eye.
I wonder if the tumor (grapefruit size), was causing inflammation or an infection? Since surgery i also no longer have back pain. I realize this could be temporary, but I’m praying for a full recovery of my weird symptoms.

I didn’t have dry eye problems until I developed glaucoma over 30 years ago. Some surgeries were less than effective, I think some of them were mistakes and in my right eye I had nine different surgeries and six in my left eye. Cataract surgery began problems with my left eye which in the past was not a problem with glaucoma like the right eye was. So I developed gout and I’m not supposed to eat any kind of organ meat like liver. I still do eat some of it I know there’s so many things on the gout list of no no’s that you must eat something to live. What did man do 500 years ago? I suppose just die of something early. I guess I didn’t mention, I’m blind in my right eye about 95%, I can see light but nothing beyond that. I also didn’t mention that my surgeon recommended that I get eyelid surgery for droopy eyelids, that contributed to dry eyes as well so I have used drops in the past, I’ll see what I can do to make it better. Everything that they say is bad now in a year or two they’ll say it is good, like butter.

Vitamin A - how interesting that I KNOW when my pug needs liver, because his eyes get all squinty, blinky and full of sticky gunk. I I just thought it worked cos it's so rich in nutrients. He'll even hoe into it raw, which he will not do with raw minced beef. A week of even the highest-quality, grain-free canned dog food will effect his eyes so much that I have to put him on carnivore and include liver. And then the bloodshot whites of his eyes go really white, too. My dog's been a great experiment, to see just how beneficial to health ditching starches is.
