Long gone, YDM4's are in Palani-Pollachi. While there's no meter gauge, broad gauge serves as a consolation present. Came here just to say 9 years later, the BG WDM2's are thundering along Pollachi the same way these little beasts did in one period.
Great Video..It is really nice to hear the YDM 4 growl and it's whistle. It is a dying breed now in India with most of the MG lines being converted to BG.
That reminds me to Malim Nawar statipn which situated between Kampar and Batu Gajah Station. Now it was closed due to Electrified Double Tracking Project between Rawang and Ipoh. The semaphore signal in the video reminds me to the freight trains which hauled by YDM4 when they pass by Kampar Station.

Nice shot. Yes no MG tracks at present so mising them. Remembering travelling in them long time back in TN
Ydm4 at indian same with Ydm4 at malaysian actually horn at indian is long and at malaysian is short

@shudra14 Pink City ran from Jaipur to Delhi originally. The train to Udaipur was Chetak Express.
