Izzatnagar based YDM4, 6686 leaves Bareilly with the 17:55 passenger to Kasganj, this metre gauge line closes for reguaging on 1st December 2013. As can be heard this YDM4 has a different turbo charger hence the pronounced whistling noise when revving up.

Long gone, YDM4's are in Palani-Pollachi. While there's no meter gauge, broad gauge serves as a consolation present. Came here just to say 9 years later, the BG WDM2's are thundering along Pollachi the same way these little beasts did in one period.

Don't think so, field diverts are not usually noticable on the microprocessor controlled ones, I think the driver maybe notched up and then down for some reason, either that or it had a bit of a 'spazz' and misfired. Bit of a monster whatever went on.
