      Truth. The basics always work. I was amazed when I simply started doing more calisthenics like Tyson used to do incorporated into my weight training. Tyson had it right. You don’t need as much free weights as we think. Push Ups have probably developed my chest better than weights.

    Listening and watching to Charles can make weight training such a good way to change your body. As for my abs, I can not work them or I get a thick waist. In the beginning of my training days I used to do over 3000 reps a day and I had a huge gut. I stopped working abs and let them just hold me up while I work out. Because of what I did in the beginning when I diet, my abs always look great and show tremendous cutes

    • @artwha0
      @artwha0 2 роки тому +3

      It will work you hip flexors a bit, but to minimize this - stabilize your core and really mentally focus on using your abs so your legs are simply coming along for the ride. Sounds strange but doing this will reduce involvement of hip flexors

      One other thing, to make that mind muscle connection better maybe try it first with simple leg raises (back on ground). The movement in the video is harder so your body will naturally want to use more muscles to stabilize
