      ATHLEAN x did a video on this a while ago. this is a old school move. ive actually did video on this in past on i.g. This is a great pushup. Yes mr. glass is a guru. hes great.

      If your doing 50 push-ups you are going too fast lol...try holding at the bottom for 5 seconds then back up for a good pump.

    Never touched weights in my life, I have been doing strictly bodyweight exercises and I have never thought of such pushup variation. Respect to this man.
    Edit: it can be used as a preliminary step towards getting to tucked planche pushups on parallel bars in calisthenics.

    It’s amazing how strong and athletic you can get with just body weight exercises. Mr Glass is no spring chicken but I bet he can outwork and outclass any bodybuilder.

    I added 5 sets of these to My chest and biceps training last night. Extremely Effective, extremely useful. I really cannot Thank You enough Coach Glass. Truly honored to be able to access this information, it feels like You are right beside Me training. Truly Blessed.

      @@MohammedAli-jt7zr Yes actually I have noticed the difference now. I do not add them to every single chest workout, but every 3rd workout now I will substitute these in for a different exercise. Consistency is always Key.

    I collapsed and banged my whole face on the floor trying these push ups. They will be a staple in my workout from now on. Excellent pre or post chest workout pump.

    It has similar effects of the decline pushup but without the decline. A great variation!

    Mr. Glass was a specimen back in the day. Look him up. I'm 57 and always thought he was most of the most balanced BB's out there. His abs were sick.

    Yo Mr. Glass! Great to see you again! Grew up watching and admiring you and all the O G's from the 70's 80's and 90's flipping through the mags like Muscle & Fitness and IronMan and it's a simple thing like this push up is why I prefer the old school. Modern day advancements is great and inevitable but unfortunately we loose the basics like this in the process.     I could do 50 push ups straight, I tried this push up variation and omg I failed on rep 10 and the chest contraction and pump I got is crazyyy!!!

    Although there are different variations for a pushup, the best way and right way is to keep the back flat while keeping ht hips level with the shoulders, keeping the knees bent as well, and when you move to do a pushup, move slightly forward and down in an arcing motion and then return to the original position. always press from the palm and the tips of the fingers and imagine you are trying to press through the floor when performing the pushups. make sure to keep the knees slightly bent and also the hips/glute area higher. you will get a great pump out of this.

      It would probably be hard to get into his schedule. Plus, the rates aren't cheap. I love his videos, but this dude is a world class trainer. After helping Busta Rhymes lose weight his demand is probably higher.

    Mr. Glass i'm doing push ups eveyday 120 and its been 1 month plus becuase of Covid 19 working out at home without weights and can please put a video without weights to gain muslces. Thank you

      Same here. I started in March 2020. I was literally only able to do 10 pushups now I'm doing 600 a day 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿

      @@Wowwow-tq7lu yeah I do different variations. Close grip, wide, diamond, (also dips and pullups). I usually do them all emom. I started with 10 sets of 10 on the minute. Now I'm up to 30 sets of 20s emom.

      @@Wowwow-tq7lu you definitely will get hypotrophy. The key is A LOT of REPS. The guys you see online that are buff from calesthenics are doing thousands of reps

    As an old guy ( 68) I left the gym for other style training....pushups are a staple...120 a day 4 days a week to prevent elbow overuse!! Slow controlled concentric and eccentric increases time under tension and appears to have less jar on the joints ! I get more out of pushups this way then when I benched heavy during my powerlifting and throwing days....benching doesn't seem to have the carryover to other endeavours..sports..life that slow grinding pushup variations...iso holds etc.....do

    We done these non stop in the unit I was in, they called them airborne push-ups cause we would keep our feet and knees together. You really want a challenge while doing these, use dumbbells under your hands to elevate and bring you sternum closer into the knees.

    Try these with your legs on an incline and some parallel bars for your hands. Do deep push ups. Works amazing.

    We do hundred push ups in one breath but it’s hard to six push ups with this technique.Its so hard to go ten .GLASS IS GREAT .Rajpoot USA 🇺🇸

    i'll add this variation in repertoire.
    5km morning jog/run
    pushups (40 wide, 30, mid, 20 diamond, 10 leg raised pushups) plus this new variation between wide and mid
    100 russian twist and,
    10 min freestyle swimming to cool down.
    and warm shower

    That just puts you into an incline position meaning you will work more the upper peck area & shoulders. A decline position is what works the most chest muscle with a single movement, which is way dips are so good.
