Tyrion was terribly heartbroken from killing Shae. She grabbed the knife and he had to defend himself, but it shocked him that he killed her. His "sorry” was really sad to me.
The actress who plays young Cersei in the flashback is soooooo good at nailing Lena Headly's mannerisms and energy as Cersei.
Lancel didn't poison Robert. He was always a bad cup bearer, but the day of the hunt he was always there with the wine, offering even when Robert didn't ask, to get him drunk while danger was high.
The phrase Mance says to Stannis: "I wish you good fortune in the wars to come" seems to be a common way of saying farewell, at least for soldiers. And it inspires the title of the episode.
"Gold will be their crowns, Gold their shrouds"
I think you missed or did not raised a point about Cersei's flahback. One of the more important point is the prediction that she will be "queen for a time, and then comes another, younger, to cast you down and take all you held dear". Cersei identifies this new queen as Margeary that's why she think of her as a ennemy and do not like her since the beginning.
Jon Snow is a magnet for redheads
And Gendry is still rowing...
Also if u didn't notice... varys said to tyrion they're in Ellirio's house... the man who gave dragon eggs to dany.
You know you're having a bad day when your lucky break is getting shot by an arrow.
Mance was more of a man of the nights watch then most on the wall. He served man kind and tried to do what he could to protect them. It took almost all his life to untie all the wildling clans so he could try to save them from what’s coming
Remember way back in Season One when Jaime mentioned to Ned about how when he watched Aerys "The Mad King" Targaryen burn his father and brother alive, there were 200 men and it was silent as a crypt?
"Stop looking at him, you weirdo!" Someone should follow Melisandre around and just keep repeating this.
Jon always does the right thing. To his own detriment a lot of the time
Sir barristan and jorah know who Varys is. They have been telling daenerys what is happening in kings landing. So she knows who Varys is
Just found your channel and have been binging all your reactions. Been waiting for this you're such a great couple!
Steven is saying Jon Snow in his special accent again just to tease Nikki 😂
Welcome to Season 5!! I have to say that Jon's mercy towards Mance really went a long way towards pushing him up on my favorite characters list. I'd always liked him, but this episode had him climbing a few notches.
Although we never saw much of Mance Rayder in GoT, I really liked him as a character. He did Not deserve to die in the way that Stannis wanted. He just wanted to get all of his people to Safety away from the Wight Walkers. Ciaran Hinds played him Brilliantly! R.I.P Mance Rayder.
This is probably the right time to revisit the scene in Season 1 where Arya eavesdropped on Varys while he was conspiring with someone to have Daenerys and Drogo invade Westeros.
