What did you think of the season? EDIT: the creature is most likely one of the “Green Men.” A group of people entrusted with protecting the Isle of Faces and weirwood trees.
It was good but ended poorly Aegon running instead of facing his brother shows how weak he really is Alicent decision to give Larys strong favor again burns the Hightowers badly. Listening to him, Larys destroys Mysaria home as well as her spies That sends Mysaria to Rhaenyra who one, saves Rhaenyra life, two helps Rhaenyra sows hate and discontent in Kings landing but most importantly she helped Rhaenyra find dragon riders giving her massive advantage. Side note Rhaenyra and Mysaria get close in every sense of the word Aemond's hot headed nature is turning the small council against him so its only a matter of time before they turn on him Lannister coming back with a fleet from the Triarchy is in vain as Rhaenyra has more than enough dragons to lay waste to their ships
As long as all the set up pays off in season 3 I don't have any complaints. People want to get right to the action, but the set up is key for a good climax. Also from a business stance this will build hype for ep1 of next season
The first half of the season I was locked in. But then it started to drag and give us nothing new. Last episode was ALL buildup with no payoff and waiting 2 years for the payoff is upsetting and insulting
The season fell off after Rook’s Rest. Tbh episodes 5-8 all blend in together and I can’t even tell them apart lol. The only interesting thing that happened was in episode 7 with the red sowing
@@Roger-il8iw Nothing happened? 3 new dragon riders. Meleys and Rhaenys dead. Aegon burnt and Sunfyre crippled beyond belief. The small folk have begun rioting. One assassination. One assassination attempt. New mystery bastard characters. Armies on the march and castles being burnt. But yeah… nothing happened. Season one, viserys wife dies. Viserys remarried. New wife’s kid kills his first kids son. “Nothing happened”.
What did you expect? They took a few hundred pages of source material and decided to do several seasons of television. Everybody knew they were milking this franchise for as long as possible.
I might not be part of the popular opinion but I love The House Of The Dragon! I love every bit and piece of the entire episode! I love the storytelling, the acting, the costumes, the cinematography, the music, and more! For me, Emma and Olivia delivered the last scene! These two deserve awards for their ability to capture moments and expressions without words! The entire cast delivered and they did it with grace and whatever the materials that were given to them! From the maides to the supporting actors, and to the King's guards everyone did an amazing acting 🎭 job! I am looking forward to season 3. I dislike that I have to wait 2 years but I will wait! Btw….I do wish they had 10 episodes instead of 8!
I thought they tied up all the strings to lead into Season 3 wonderfully! The perfect balance between ending this season and cliff-hanging the next. The few seconds of the Stark Greybeards at The Twins, Raena being set up to be the ultimate wild card next season, all of it!
Yes I cannot believe the amount of impatient little idiots whining about it being boring or too slow. These people can’t recognise a great play of acting when it hits them in the face. Shame
@@a.j.1819 The acting and the screenplay setting up the acting. I guess we're kind of old school in this thread, not obsessed with immediate gratification. I love character development and the build up of tension and anticipation. Like a good meal, don't rush me, let me savor it.
When it was 50 mins in and we only just got confirmation that Daemon was for Rhaenyra, I knew we were getting close to nothing. But I thought we’d at least get to see Rhaena bring Sheepstealer to dragon stone. Super disappointing, I could’ve gone without watching the finale
@@bekongwu602 lol wut? Everything about this season was incredible, including the pacing. It does feel a bit like we got the last two episodes just chopped off, though.
1. That creature was a greenman from the Isle of faces. 2. For all the ppl saying it was a waste of a season, y'all aren't book readers. The books were always prophesy heavy, lore based and politics focused with battles on the side. 3. The writers are correcting what d&d ruined because they didn't use the lore and prophesies for over half of got. Prophecies are the motivations for a majority of the characters in ASOIAF both past and present. 4. The dance of dragons wasn't just battle after battle. Got has a lot of tv only fans thinking that especially towards the end of the show. There will be battle and death but y'all have to understand that they need to set up players and not everyone was there from the beginning. 5. (Spoiler ahead) There was always clues that dreamers and greenseers were similar, the show tying things to bloodraven and Dany makes sense because they're from Daemon's and Rhaenyra's line. Both play important roles to the future stories. Bloodraven is important in several areas for the Targaryens, the night's watch and Bran. 6. Don't watch dunk and egg, many of y'all will hate it.
Aces! Thank you for doing this so I didn’t have to. I love this show-it has managed to put characters and lore back into ASOIF and it has given me hope for HBO’s future with George’s material. My only gripe is about Corlys and Laenor: srsly, that needs to be addressed somehow because Corlys’ loyalty to Rhaenyra doesn’t make much sense otherwise. S3 will hopefully happen without the challenges (pandemic + strikes) that plagued the first two seasons . I think it’s amazing that they’ve done so well despite these
The season climaxed backwards if you ask me. The first half went as it should but the second half was lackluster with nothing but raising tensions, all smoke and no fire and this is a crime to send us into a two year wait with THIS The writers are definitely not D&D but they’re dropping the ball
If you had read the books and kept up with the lore you would have been jumping out of your seat during the last episode. This whole season has been for the true fans and I loved every moment of it 👍
@@pyramidion5911 you have shitty taste in film. this was a majorly poor decision on behalf of the showrunners. there is cliffhangers, and then there is this fucking shit.
@@darasuum1462 I forgot more last night than you'll ever know little one. This show was complete garbage. And I've read all of Martins work, they ruined the story too. What a waste of a season.
Helena cannot distinguish reality and her dreams, she was actually living in her dreams thats why if you notice sometimes her reaction is like she's being confused or interrupted like she was being sucked in reality while on her dream state, imagine when ads pop up while you're browsing and you stayed watching those ads, that's helena inside her dreams
Yes! Throughout known history depending on the time period, people with prophetic gifts such as Helena are seen as mad. Of course, when democracy emerges in Ancient Greece, those with the gift for prophecy are not shunned by society but consider blessed by the Gods. But then we have healers being tortured and killed under King James I and the Salem Witch Trials. I look forward to see where they go with her character compared to how "history" portrays her because already we are seeing how the mystery of the dragons is playing out and will shape the future cultural beliefs moving forward in Westeros.
Two whole years of wait just for the same six or eight scenes of people discussing important stuff in a shipyard, a castle, a haunted castle, and a bigger more royal castle, repeated ad nauseum throughout 8 episodes. Terrific!
It’s amazing how media illiterate you people are. “They showed us the important stuff 😢😢😢 show sucks!” Yeah, setting the scene is writing101, you’re supposed to do that. Media is not supposed to be all action, but I can’t help but suspect if they’d rush this like you would have wanted, you’d still be complaining. Watch something else that can satisfy your short attention span.
@@PerfectDark0 they literally didn't do anything for 8 episodes outside of 1 battle. the lord of the rings made 3 movies of people walking to a mountain and had better plot than this. it has nothing to do with media literacy and more about pushing the narrative forward. it moved at a snails' pace. Had they had 10 episodes, we could have at least got the blacks taking kings landing. but to save money, they chopped it. So either HBO doubles the budget for next season or it will be equally as bad and having battles pushed to season 4 and the season 3 plot stretched to the point of making the narrative dull and uninteresting like they did this season.
It’s called good writing and this is politics… did you not yet understand that in the world of Martin’s ASOIaF and HOTD politic is everything, discussions, setting up the narrative?? At this point it would be better for you to just stop watching something you won’t understand
@@z.stoyanovaYeah but the politicking and writing is nowhere near GoT level or anything in ASOIAF. It's a B-Show at best NOW. But that's because of how this season failed to push the story further with each and every scene after the half way point. So the dialogue and politicking you're referring to is often contrived and not subtle. There ren't really any clever characters to be invested in if they easily unravel under the first bit of duress they've been put under. Aemond after he gets the Crown is a prefect example of this. And I think it's done in spite of his popularity, which is a no no.
I appreciate your exaggeration however, this is not true. A lot happened this season. The one thing that could be complained about was the pacing. We also don't want the pacing to be too fast and condensed either.
The attention to detail, fleshed out explanations, entertaining editing, and House sigils/castle names at the bottom in your video are extremely helpful and entertaining. Thank you for your hard work!!
Was so excited to see sheepstealer only to see him for 5 seconds at the end. They could’ve made this episode 2 hours, or at least made the season 10 ep, it felt so rushed.
I dont understand all the complaints. I love this series, almost as good as early GoT. Only complaint i have is that I wish this season would've been 10 episodes ,with a great battle in the end. You cant rush a show like this, then it becomes just like the end of GoT.
My thoughts exactly. I loved the pacing, the arcs of the characters (specially Daimon´s), the introduction of the magic of the children of the forrest and the themes of the song of ice and fire. BUT.....I felt let down with this last episode. You can´t build up only for so long....we (from what I´m seeing everyone agrees on that) needed an action packed strong ending here.
YEAH BUT DUDE 4 YEARS DOE. THEY STARTED THIS 2 YEARS AGO, WE GOT NOTHING THIS SEASON AND NOW WE GOTTA WAIT ANOTHER 2 YEARS. 4 GOD DAMN YEARS AND NOTHING HAS FUCKING HAPPENED
It’s crazy how season 1 was able to buy back so much goodwill from fans that felt burned by the ending of GOT only for this season to drop the ball and leave us back where we were.
Dragged it. All of Daemons illusions just for him to bend the knee? Didn’t show up by his wife’s side. He’s the reason Raynce is dead and he’s still at Harron Hall? Why did Rynera entertain any of Alicante’s words. Killing Agond doesn’t guarantee Aemond bending the knee. Trash. Wasted my time. No longer a fan. Another GOT trick. Ungrateful to viewers. No longer interested
@@AngelA-de8fbexactly, Daemon spent basically the ENTIRE season in a Scooby Doo episode getting haunted night after night. You would think that at some point bro would just get used to it or sleep at a nearby inn.
@@waltertheterrible6062It was to build his character. Daemon at the beginning of the season would never have bent the knee. Game of thrones is about treachery and plotting and they did that. I think Criston Coles and Gwayne Hightower had the best scene though, Criston the hated, dropped a bagger of a line. " That all men are corrupt. Honor is a just a mist that melts in the morning.". I wish there was more treachery in this season but I'm sure 2 of the 4 dragon riders will side with Aemon next season.
@@elericrivera2010Thank you. Someone with some media literacy in this comment section. The line of all men being corrupt and honor being fleeting like mist PERFECTLY sets up all the backstabbing and deception that will come in the next season.
Could that creature that Daemon sees behind a tree be a sign of the fall of his lineage? This character has antlers and that’s the animal on the banner of House Baratheon, who ends up overthrowing the Mad King.
Even if you ignored the book, which the writers have clearly done, then Alicent's decision to bend the knee to Rhaenyra and sacrifice her sons still doesn't make sense in the context of how she was portrayed in Season 1. She spent most of Aegon's life fuelling his fear that once Rhaenyra ascends the throne, she will have him killed to secure her claim, to remorsefully sacrificing both him and his brothers to salavage her childhood relationship. It's character assassination of the highest order.
@@bosspoke it makes sense for her in the show but I haven't read the book. In the show she always believed that Rhaenyra would ascend the throne and kill her family to keep it because that's what her father made her believe would happen. She also believed that Rhaenyra was not fit to be queen because she indulged in debauchery and shirked her duties. But now she is the one who has plunged the realm into civil war and her son massacres innocents at the drop of a hat. She's also likely realised that there is no winning this on her side and she's doing all she can to save her only innocent children, being Haelena and Daeron and her grandchild. She probably believes that it's either they all die along with millions of innocent people or just two. It's an impossible choice and they did show that she agonised over it
Oh and apparently Sunfire is dead. LOL. that is also a major plot point they just decided to change because if i am not mistaken, Rhaenyra is supposed to die in a breath of his fire. they made this clear even in the actual GoT lore bits you can find here on youtube uploaded years ago and read by the kid who played Joffrey in the original GoT show.
In my opinion, the wendigo like character with the antlers spotted in this episode represents the demon of the trident(Robert Baratheon). His battle armor has the stag symbol with antlers attached to the helmet. I think it symbolizes the end of the Targaryen dynasty since it was Robert’s rebellion that ended the 300 Targaryen rule in Westeros but I may be wrong.
You mean the part where he sees the writers give the throne to the womanz just because she's a womanz and totally sideline the best and most capable character in the show for an entire season
IMDB 5/10 from me. What a bullshit episode!! Are these makers vent on making House of Dragons a LGBTQ+ campaign?? Wtf was that!! Making a character again female also giving to a lesbian pro transgender?? Also now making Alicent and Rhaenyra the rightful symphatisers wtf? These scenes are making the cruelty and ruthlessness funny. Fucking garbage.

They didn't even have the money to build new empires they had to shoot what looks like the same Game of Thrones but with Dragons. 200 years are supposedly to have passed. They are padding the show with mostly filler because there is very little source material. It's The Hobbit all over again. They want that sweet 200million per season gravy train to continue even though they don't have much of a story to tell.
@@OdinReactor yeah Everything needs to end next season. Once she takes kings landing. There isn't much story left besides the attack on her. If they do 10 episodes. My biggest gripe is that Rhaenyra is too much of a Saint, what made the Dance interesting was that while the Blacks had the "better cause" they're both equally shitty.
Rhaenyra was quite "sh*tty" to Alicent. She forced to bargain for her own son's life. The son who is already burned, bowed and broken. It would have been a small matter for Rhaenyra offer mercy to Alicent and to Aegon. The Whole Son for a Son thing already played out. It made Rhaenyra seem utterly uncompromising and ruthless. Yes the Green usurped the throne and crown and struck first and struck hard. But Rhaenyra seemed simultaneously reluctant but at the same time driven. It seemed that she believes it is her calling, her duty, her mission and thus any savagery is a necessary evil to accomplish her place on the throne. Yes the Greens do care more for power than duty.

Great acting from everybody. Tom glynn’s acting as a broken aegon made me feel for him. Ewan’s acting is incredible as he portrays anger and desperation.
1) Alicent saved Cole from the headsman's axe when he confessed to sleeping with Rhaenyra; 2) Wendigos are Algonquin/Native American. Doubtful that GRRM would allow a REAL cryptid into the world of Westeros; 3) Corlys is NOT Alyn's grandsire. Corlys is his FATHER.
It was the producers, not the writers. The writers wanted 10 episodes but it would have taken another few months to come out. Producers wanted it out as soon as possible. Writer Sara Hess told Entertainment Weekly in May, “It wasn’t really our choice.”
Too late. All it takes is some youtube influencers talking garbage about the writers and now everyone has their pitchforks up agains the writers, regardless of any other facts.
@@deviatlon it makes sense with all the CGI. Marvel movies have to start rendering special effects before the movies script is even finished, 2-3 years in advance. That’s why they sometimes have theses massive CGI fights that don’t really fit with the story (like the ending of Black Widow). And that’s just for a two hour movie. HOTD probably has 3-4 massive CGI dragon battles that are still incomplete.
I don't know why people are thinking it stops, not just at Aegon, but with Aemond, Daeron, and Otto and Cole as well. And then that's it. Victory... NO. It will come to Helena too. Helena is the blood of VISERYS as well, AND, she can continue to bear heirs. If half the realm believes, no, if half the realm believes in the PERCEPTION that Viserys changed his mind and chose Aegon, then that means Helena is also in direct opposition to Rhaenyra. What happens when Rhaenyra shows mercy to Helena now? She rules for now, yes, and she does have her heir, Jace, and then her other sons. But what happens when Helena, who continues to live, has other children? Rhaenyra will grow old one day, and vulnerable. Helena's children will know their history and blood. Half of the realm fought with the other. They too have not forgot. Unless one side of the family is completely eradicated, there is all the reason to believe that this will be a generational feud that will seemingly never end. WHY ARE PEOPLE NOT REALIZING THIS?!?!? I think the only people in the show we can safely assume to understand this dark reality are: Aemond, Daemon, Otto, and Larys.
It’s one of the green men, they live on the isle of faces. I remember reading they have antlers or branches atop their heads. Creepy things. Daemon might wash up there one day. Addam visits on Seasmoke so hopefully we see the isle of faces either way.
Despite everyone's saying, I liked this episode, just enjoying watching the true sides of different characters, they willing, conversations, looking up for hints and hidden jems. And the end was mindblowing with this soundtrack and shots, each part represented a house, I watched it two times, because it's masterpiece. Can't wait for season 3, very eager to see what Ep 1 will bring us. Also, am I the only one who thought that Lohar is a woman?
NO! and they keep calling her HIM.... I thought when she said 'I want to have children from you with my wives' I just thought, oh she must be barren, because if a male...make your own kids?
My boy Larys out here trying to convince Aegon to join him on an Ibiza holiday while the company goes under 😭 Alright jokes aside Im honestly really upset that this is the finale we get before waiting 2 years. I don't even know how Otto end up in a cell man!! You cannot convince me all this couldn’t have been the first half of a 10 episode season. HBO fumble up big time. To the writers of this show, you suck
how is a fumble when your dumbass is going to see all the episodes of season 3 lol, and dont tell me you werent entertained because if it was a great season finale you would have been shitting your pants and glazing the show lol
You’re under the fundamental misunderstanding that season one ended with a preparation for war. No, season one ended with a DECLARATION of war, and that was the death of Lucerys. Season two is the PREPARATION for war. Your grievance should be with your media illiteracy and not the writers. It’s evident you wouldn’t understand anything they would have written.
Honestly this is what happens when you let Joffrey and Ramsy come together to write a story while on the toilet taking a dump, trying to make the show your own and adding weird things that don’t work, ruining characters among other things good job on making another got s8
The finale was anticlimactic. This season had some strong points. Really beautifully shot. Dragons looked amazing. Score was incredible. Some great acting. However, I’m starting to see that it’s the GRRM storytelling and dialogue that really makes this world so fascinating. Without that, it’s missing something. There were many questionable story choices. Some missed opportunities. Hopefully we get WOW before the Dunk & Egg show next year.
23:16 I saw that moment as like a physical gesture marking how their relationship will never be the same since he left. The trust is still incomplete, she doesn’t trust him and he’s only following her because he was coerced by sorcery
I don’t even know. They were calling him “he” in the show, but the casting is a woman… it threw me off for all those scenes, and like I guess just commit to it being a woman? But also, not like we need to be changing males to females when we already have a pretty female dominant lineup of main characters. Identity pandering is so overplayed that it’s just annoying whenever I see it -_-

I will never forgive the writers for mishandling Alicent's character so badly. They turned one of the most interesting characters from the book and Season 1, a scheming, ambitious women who cares deeply for her children, into a lobotomy patient. Alicent sold Aegon out explicitly, Daeron implicitly, and told Rhaenyra their battle plans and the movement of Aemond, Criston and Gwayne. And then, to add insult to injury, suggested Rhaenyra run away with her in the woods, as if the throne matters little in comparison to the childhood relationship they had 15 years ago. What is this Ao3 fanfiction level of dialogue?
the whole season is ridiculous in that way. all are in static dialogues, almost muttered, half toned dialogues. they look like ghost actors who do not know that they are dead --'....
That's the problem. You have expectations instead of just watching the story unfold. You caused yourself to be disappointed. They have to set up everything before you get to the actual war and action. People are so impatient!
The season finale felt like a gist of the entire season still preparing for war. No way had I expected another Rhaenyra and Alicent's attempt to avoid conflict while wasting time sneaking around each other. Overall, the season felt slow-paced and dragged on, and the finale seemed to serve more as a prelude to the next season, which promises maybe the full scope of the Dance of the Dragons. It's challenging to wait two years for the next season, especially when this one didn't receive the warmest reception. Wanted to see Rhaena claiming Sheepstealer at the end, they robbed us of it too. Criston Cole's reflections on his wasted life around women were both humorous and poignant. Daemon’s reckoning with his dreams with visions of white walkers and Daenerys, was surprising. The makers would stretch this franchise to 4-5 seasons. After all, dragging out every bit of the narrative seems like their perfect way to keep viewers waiting and hoping for something more 😂

@@darasuum1462 not exactly. At least with GOT, they kept your full attention by doing everything you listed without dragging a story line. A 2 year wait for only 8 episodes is sort of a slap in face.

S3 will hopefully happen without the challenges (pandemic + strikes) that plagued the first two seasons . I think it’s amazing that they’ve done so well despite these

I think they’re trying to portray it as ‘she’s trying to save the daughter’ but yeah poorly done and also an illegally boring season finale
Could be a trick. But if not, then yeah that is terrible character building. I thought it made 0 sense for her character.

It would have been a small matter for Rhaenyra offer mercy to Alicent and to Aegon. The Whole Son for a Son thing already played out. It made Rhaenyra seem utterly uncompromising and ruthless.
I think the "creature" might be some - sort of prophecy to Baratheon and Stark alliance in the future, being also the downfall of House Targaryen.
I thought it looked like Robert Baratheon in his war helmet. At least the top half.
It’s one of the green men, they live on the isle of faces. I remember reading they have antlers or branches atop their heads. Creepy things. Daemon might wash up there one day. Addam visits on Seasmoke so hopefully we see the isle of faces either way.
Idk bro it has HOOVES I thought it was a wendigo 😂
@@J_ads2000 oh! that sounds interesting. I hope we get to see it too.
I'd go off on Corlys too if I had a dad who dissed me my whole life, then tried to play nice after I was grown and made a life without him.
@@evaspearing8405 she is a woman actually, saw it on her TikTok recently
My boy Larys out here trying to convince Aegon to join him on an Ibiza holiday while the company goes under 😭 Alright jokes aside Im honestly really upset that this is the finale we get before waiting 2 years. We ended S1 with everyone preparing for war. How are we ending S2 with everyone still preparing for war? And I don’t wanna hear any of that “character development” bullshit that you people here have been using to justify the slow pace for WEEKS. Like Daemon and Rhaenyra’s storylines this season weren’t utterly repetitive and dull (“wHaT woULd yOu hAvE me dO “) Alicent’s dumbass selling out her entire family who have no idea and are marching to their deaths and Heleana spoiling the entire show. I don't even know how Otto end up in a cell man!! You cannot convince me all this couldn’t have been the first half of a 10 episode season.
HBO fumble up big time.
To the writers of this show, you suck
Brilliant.
how is a fumble when your dumbass is going to see all the episodes of season 3 lol, and dont tell me you werent entertained because if it was a great season finale you would have been shitting your pants and glazing the show lol
Better than nothing
@@jmz2144rather have nothing
You’re under the fundamental misunderstanding that season one ended with a preparation for war. No, season one ended with a DECLARATION of war, and that was the death of Lucerys. Season two is the PREPARATION for war. Your grievance should be with your media illiteracy and not the writers. It’s evident you wouldn’t understand anything they would have written.
Honestly this is what happens when you let Joffrey and Ramsy come together to write a story while on the toilet taking a dump, trying to make the show your own and adding weird things that don’t work, ruining characters among other things good job on making another got s8
Excellent summary 👌
16:15 I think the antler man thing is Robert Baratheon, like 'I'm coming for you dragonspawn, expect me!'
When I saw it I immediately thought Robert Baratheon
The finale was anticlimactic. This season had some strong points. Really beautifully shot. Dragons looked amazing. Score was incredible. Some great acting.
However, I’m starting to see that it’s the GRRM storytelling and dialogue that really makes this world so fascinating. Without that, it’s missing something. There were many questionable story choices. Some missed opportunities.
Hopefully we get WOW before the Dunk & Egg show next year.
Exactly. It is the dialogue and storytelling and depth that is lacking. Not blood and gore.
They’re dragging this show with so much useless filler. The changes they’re making don’t even make sense and is lack luster
Stop bitching
Alicent crying and sobbing and sniffling for with no dialog for nearly 10 minutes. Smh. Dragging wayyyy more than anything I've ever watched.
@@TCthaCrisis they are given too much screen time to B role characters that bares no consequence to the overarching story
Show feels like a tribute to GOT.
One of the most boring series in 2024. Not even near with GOT even the season 8 that people are whining about
23:16 I saw that moment as like a physical gesture marking how their relationship will never be the same since he left. The trust is still incomplete, she doesn’t trust him and he’s only following her because he was coerced by sorcery
Isn't Lohar a woman here?
definitely! I was so confused
Yes
Ok good to know I wasn't the only one confused 😅
I don’t even know. They were calling him “he” in the show, but the casting is a woman… it threw me off for all those scenes, and like I guess just commit to it being a woman? But also, not like we need to be changing males to females when we already have a pretty female dominant lineup of main characters.
Identity pandering is so overplayed that it’s just annoying whenever I see it -_-
what is a woman?
If you watch it with the subtitles on, the wind whispers are translated. Like when Alfred Broome hears something, the wind whispers "traitor" Also Corlyss is Allyn's sire not grandsire. And Tyland messing around with some He-She Ladyboy is hilarious.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one that noticed this. So far everyone simply calls him a man and moves on.
Cant wait for the damon vs Aemond battle damm hope it to would be a good screentime
Nooooo! I was heartbrokenwhen they said Daemon dies
I nailed it! I always try to figure out the final scene in your videos and this was the first time I got it right! Great job all season!!!
How can you end with 0 action or a big death or battle or anything
I actually loved this episode and season
I loved the conversation between Rhaenyra and Alicent tbh. Olivia Cooke is such a brilliant actor.
Such a stupid scene. I was willing to forget it first time in king's landing but this made me laugh.

This season finale was not worth a stake dinner party with friends ‼️
Yes
There was literally no climax to the season. We literally watched dameon freak out on shrooms the whole show. No fighting, all political debate. I can't believe we are going to have to wait another 2 years if not more to get tf we been waiting to see!
If you’re watching a GoT series for action instead of politics, watch something else. Lmao this is literally why GoT became popular, the politics, not the action. Sorry the show runners aren’t bending to your expectations and making the show worse.
@@PerfectDark0 all the people that complain about no action probably are in love with the shitty marvel movies that have no actual significance or depth. I can’t take any opinion about this show seriously if it’s simply just about the lack of action
Not political debate either just yaas queen

@@dv9239exactly, there's not even political debate just mindless filler
it was an admirable teaser for the season 3 trailer to the movie from season 4
Sound he hears is “traitor” per the subtitles
16:46 issa green man. At least how they look in the books from what I’ve seen people talking about
that was a boring episode. I can't be the only one who thinks this.
Am with u man 😂
it was terrible man did D&D get rehired wtf was that!?!?
That's the problem. You have expectations instead of just watching the story unfold. You caused yourself to be disappointed.
They have to set up everything before you get to the actual war and action. People are so impatient!
@@denicarson9082 the freaking show set those expectation what the hell are you talking about??
I’m pissed 😤 lol
....Did not expect the season to end like this....
After all, dragging out every bit of the narrative seems like their perfect way to keep viewers waiting and hoping for something more 😂
I wake up early to watch this ..now i regret it
We waited 2 years for this 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
for a great season with great dialogue, great world building, great characterization? You people are the reason we got the garbage that was seasons 7 and 8
@@darasuum1462Thank you!!
@@darasuum1462it’s not hard to realize people want a good war that’s 2-3 episodes finale with everyone dying sadly
@@darasuum1462 not exactly. At least with GOT, they kept your full attention by doing everything you listed without dragging a story line. A 2 year wait for only 8 episodes is sort of a slap in face. Just like the ending of GOT, this finale is not what we expected (and not in a good way). Everyone was expecting to see them go to war. That was the whole point of season 2. They literally could have went to war and left us guessing which side won for the next season. Or something like that.
@@darasuum1462this season was garbage what you talking about
13:25 - I’m so sorry to hear this. I hope things are much better for you now.
I joked with my wife that the Finale would end with Daemon and Aemond flying towards each other and it finishing like "Rocky." Didn't even get that
we watched the daughter of Damein search for a dragon 2 seasons and this entire episode to no avail. While some drunk stumbled onto a dragon unintentionally. Man this writing is next lvl.
Sorry about your wife, but thank you for amazing content as always! You should be past 1m subs by now.....I've loved the channel for a long time!
Heleana didn't attempt to stop her sons death because she accepts that she has no agency in the grand scheme of things. the prophencey demands that what happens MUST happen, let the pieces fall as they may.
Yes!
So disappointed... i sat there for an hour and a half and not a single fight scene. I am so over this show.... long live Game of Thrones except for season 8
I love this channel. New Rockstars crowd sources and takes from other channels. Thats why their videos are always last. Yet this channel truly has knowledge and it’s definitely the best because of that.
2:50. Tyrosh is the one with blue hair. It is said that the Tyroshi paint thair hair and beards. Daario Naharis was supposed to have his hair and beard painted in the show. Lys is the one with silvers blonde hair. They are said to have valyrian traits. Myr is the 3rd guy.
I did like the scene between Daemon and Rhaenyra. Ulf's an oaf and can't wait for his demise. All those scenes between Tyland and Lohar were just creepy. And I've been wanting to say this all season, but RIP Criston's long hair 😥 An ok episode.
I like Ulf as a character in the show. That dinner-table scene was funny. I know what he does during the dance of the dragons, but I still like his goofy attitude in contrast to everyone else in this show.
the Tyland and Lohar scenes were the most awkward and cringe shit i've seen this season. could have easily cut it out and the show would have been better for it.
