great reaction guys! What's crazy about the Tyrion/Tywin scene is how much Tywin kind of knows but hates that Tyrion is like him. There's a scene in the books (not in the show) where Tywin's sister, Genna, tells Jaime after Tywin's death "You smile like Gerion and fight like Tyg, and there's some of Kevan in you, else you would not wear that cloak... but Tyrion is Tywin's son, not you." Bringing home the fact Tywin's greatest asset was Tyrion but he couldn't see past the fact that Tyrion was a dwarf
Mair saying something isnt gonna happen, then it happening and mair saying he saw it coming is simultaneously the funniest and most annoying thing ever- 😭❤️ "Tywin Lannister, in the end, did not shit gold"

Cersei cares about her power way more than her children. She's such a hypocrite accusing her father and others of tearing tommen apart when she has always been the biggest threat and danger to her own kids. She is a terrible mother. As far as the dragons go locking them up is actually the worse thing you can do unless you want them to stay small
The ship captain said he wasn't going north -- he was going home. Arya was desperate to get away from there, so she asked him where home was. He said "Braavos", and that's when she pulled out the coin Jaqen H'ghar gave her. After Jaqen helped Arya and her friends escape Harrenhal, he gave her the coin, and told her if she ever wanted to find him, all she had to do was to show the coin to any Braavosi, say "Valar Morghulis", and the Braavosi would get her there. The coin can't change the ship's route, but it gets her passage to Braavos. Brienne is a great warrior, so there was no reason to assume the Hound would have beaten her. It's also why the fight got so scrappy. When there are two swords that are pretty equally skilled, the swords cancel eachother out. So what remains is: kicking and biting and scratching. They're both mega-warriors. They'd do whatever it took to win. As far as the Hound's concerned, there wasn't anyone left to pay him for Arya -- like he said, all her family was dead -- so he wasn't holding her hostage anymore: he WAS protecting her. And Arya -- she didn't want to kill him anymore. She may have said she did, and she might even have thought she still did, but she's what, eleven here? If that? It takes a while at that age to figure out what you're thinking. But we can see from her actions: she called for him to come when Brienne and Podrick showed up, even though she clearly had a good connection with Brienne. When she found out that Brienne wanted to take her away from him, she moved to hide behind him. She kept her eyes on Brienne the whole time, because Brienne was the stranger / the danger, not the Hound. She challenged what Brienne was saying, not what the Hound was saying. After the fight was over, Arya hid from Brienne, and then went to find Sandor. Did you see her face? There was no joy there. She wasn't happy he was dying. It seemed cold-hearted that she left him there, but if there was one thing Clegane taught her, it was to not be sentimental. Still, she didn't want to kill him. He said he was dying, so she took the money and left while there was still light. When all's said and done, Arya's the only person who ever really cared about the Hound.
Remember Maester Aemon had Sam send ravens to all the houses warning of the threat to The North and that they needed more men to hold the Wall. Melisandre told Stannis that the real threat was to the North and the Army of The Dead. That’s how Ser Davos was saved for setting Gendry free. He read the scroll to Stannis and Melisandre saw it in the fire. That’s why Stannis came with his army to Mance Rayder. Stannis was the only one that answered the call.
Tywin cares about his legacy, not his family. He only cares in the sense that they are his legacy, so he tells them what to do and manipulates all of them.
Melisandra saw winter in the flames and davos had a letter talking about the fight is in the north. Thats why they went to bravo to get money and ships. Stannis sailed past the wall and landed is why they were north of the wall.
I like how Mair scientifically rationalizes that skeletons have no weight, hence, they can run fast, while simultaneously thinking that having no muscles to run is scientifically acceptable xd
At the end of the day, they're still dragons. No one can control them, they're not slaves, I think Dany said that too earlier in the series. Also ...RIP Tywin 😩 he was a douhchebag to Tyrion but he was such an amazing character ❤
I went to the Game of Thrones studio tour in Ireland...fantastic experience. The funny in the restrooms was a picture of Tyrion pointing the crossbow at you. 😂😂😂
Me too, in fact, i love all the Lannisters as characters: so complex and interesting. And Charles Dance owned the character completely: such an amazing actor.
The books explain in detail how Bran and company survive in the north, describing the food situation and everything. That’s one of the awesome things about the book is the amount of detail on everything.
33:29 Mair is right, she's going to Bravos, that's where the faceless man is from ( the one who can change faces) , he told her to use that coin to come to Bravos , which is also where her old sword master was from . she couldn't go to the wall on her own it's too dangerous .
Stannis went around the wall through the ocean. They were in Braavos getting money and getting ships and men with the money they lent Stannis. Then they sailed north (I assume to eastwatch by the sea, which is unmanned), then they rode along the wall quickly because there isn't any obstacles. If you remember from s3e10, melisandre convinced stannis he needed to go north to protect the realm from the white walkers.
so there is an interesting theory about tywins death. in the books, there are hints Oberyn was poisoning twyin over time...slowly. in the books he hints that twyin's won't live forever to tyrion. and pycell talks about "windows blood" ...a poison that shuts down a man's bowels and basically makes him die from his own body toxins. tywin is killed by tyrion while struggling to use the bathroom. And when tyrion finally shot tywin...a really horrible stink filled the room. And during his funeral...they talk about how bad his body looked and smelled. It was like his body was rotting quickly despite a short time between death and funeral. the dornish also don't exclude women from ruling...and marcella is older than tommen and she is set to wed the dornish prince...and with twyin dead, they could press the claim for marcella and her dornish prince to be king and queen...making dorne once again in line to the throne.

Last time we saw Drogon burn that sheep right next to a child goat herder . Probably he did the same thing, burned goats but the little girl was nearby and caught fire . He's smart enough to know not to eat humans ( even if they're in his diet) , he was sure smart enough to not come back after his crime ,knowing he did something very wrong . Unfortunately his two brothers went to jail in his place .
Remember when Dany said a dragon is not a slave? Yeah they do pretty much as they please. They eat whatever they want. Sure Drogon listens to her but it's his choice, he also chooses to not listen to her, in the books she goes into detail about how riding a dragon is so different from riding a horse in that the horse will submit to a whip but a dragon attacks the whip. The Targaryens used to keep their dragons in a great dragon pit. This was for the safety of everyone but it had downfalls as the dragons were smaller in size and weaker with each generation. They need to grow out in the open and be able to hunt whatever they want to grow large and formidable. Here Dany only managed to get 2 of her dragons under the great pyramid. Drogon took off, he has the strongest bond with Dany and probably sensed she was going to lock them away. He disappears for a while but don't worry because he will come back.
why would you tell them he comes back that would of been like if you said yeah jofferey is a cunt with loads of security and protection. BUT DONT WORRY HE GETS KILLED
Oh, the irony of Tyrion killing Shae with the very necklace of gold chain that he gave her...😒 I don't believe Shae was originally a willing mate of Tywin's. He gave Cercei the order to have her taken to the Tower of the Hand during the Wedding Breakfast and the guards somehow managed to follow Bronn when he escorted her to the docks. She must have been terrorized into standing as a witness, but was also enticed with her a chance of staying alive, Tywin's bed was part of that deal.
Still think it’s a shame they cut out Jamie’s confession. Where he told Tyrion that his wife hadn’t been a con. That she’d been exactly as she appeared. An innocent young girl fleeing from rapists. That was why Tyrion put off his escape to go after his father. And why Tywin talking about whores engraved him.
Tywin doesn't care about the people or the realm, only his family's position. That's why he's not generally likeable, along with wanting Tyrion to die obviously
"Gandalf!?" 😅🤣😂 Oh, man, that's hilarious! Lord Tywin Lannister did not, in the end, shit gold. The point if still defending the Wall is the same as why it was built, White Walkers. It sound wrong but free slaves on mass can be very bad for the slaves. After the US civil war the southern plantations were broken up carpetbaggers cam3 in from the North and bought up lots of the land. X-slaves died in their thousands because they had no food or money to by food. In the city of Ancient Rome many slaves were better off than free poor people. Same with the Greeks earlier.

Thank you! No one ever says this but it's big facts. The only think Cercei loves more than her children is "what Cercei wants."

If that? the hound has always been good, helped Sansa when she was young , stopped the men from rapping her, and really is a good guy just had a rough life
Your reaction to the Bran storyline had me rolling laughing. I love you guys.
That scene where she locks her dragons is so heartbreaking, I feel they're just like puppies
Arya is going to Bravos. 🤗
Cersei cares about Cersei, The thing she loves about Jamie is that he is her twin. And she knows she can manipulate him.
