    Thanks Allie - I had an unsettled night and a 5am start with my nine month old, this practice reminded me I can do hard things and my intention is to offer myself kindness and compassion as I go through my day. I love the pranayama practice you've been doing lately and the puppy pose variation was 😍.

    I'm no expert at yoga, but after doing this for the last... ehm... thirty years I thought I knew everything, until you came with your amazing tips (on thigh spiralling, for example), the subtle variations like the modified puppy pose, the perfect voice: everything conspires to make the most challenging part so natural and easy that you forget you were actually fearing it... and the pranayama practice at the end does all the difference from other practices on YT. I shouldn't comment on other yoga UA-camrs, but I often notice they keep yoga fundamentals to themselves, revealing us only the superficial "flow" and most times not respecting students' own breathing rhythm (AKA, going too fast or too slow, not leaving time to reach the optimal pose). You don't. Thank you for giving us all you have got.

    Beautiful! Which video of yours would you suggest for managing and maintaining self-love?
    Had a breakthrough on my journey today. Filling my own cup by turning the love I give out freely from others back to myself. Felt fire inside me as I lit up. Feeling totally connected and full of the love I have been seeking all along. ❤

      I have you to thank for that Allie. As you know i'm a druid and focus on similar energies. From Beltane onwards i've focused mainly on the heart vids as they link with Hawthorn and of course love, take that down to the solar plexus you get self esteem, and of course imperfect action, which i think I just worked out. If we took perfect action we'd stop learning, we need imperfection to develop our gifts. You are so gifted Allie it's unreal. Zen Den Goddess suits you well.

    Hi ! I’d like to ask about yoga reset guide? I have traits of C-PTSD and it’s said that not all types of yoga work for trauma. There’s trauma informed yoga also. Do your videos work for C-PTSD?

      Hi, thanks for reaching out! I am not a trauma yoga expert, but I do firmly believe the chakra system and yoga philosophy can be a beneficial tool for students who are working through trauma. The chakras philosophy that informs my yoga classes and teachings, I learned primarily by studying with Anodea Judith who is a trauma informed psychologist so starting with the yoga reset guide would be a good place for you to see if what I teach aligns with your needs. Of course please reach out to your support team (doctors, therapists) to discuss if this is right for you. Thank you for asking and being here!

    Hi Allie, rookie question, at 2.26 you say sprial your leg up to the ceiling, is your hip turning up to the left or more up towards the right.. can you understand what i mean? I think I need a coffee :)

      Hi Marnie, good question! Another way to think about it is turning the hip and knee to point towards the ground. You want your hip pointing towards the floor while the thigh/hamstring are facing the ceiling. Does that make more sense?
