    This is really one of the best versatile pedals ever made. One can get so many sounds from this pedal.

    Finally, a guitar player who doesn't lose himself in endless noodling and plays something I might be able to pull off. Cheers to that!

    Hell of a reviewer. I agree that you play like a guitarist would on stage with a band, not noodling around in time. It showcases what the pedal is best used for. I just got one and finding where it fits in my setup.

    Pretty cool Video, I like to see this guy playing guitar! I know T-Rex, ´cause I got a few pedals a few years ago. Very nice presentation, with different guitars - very useful. Thanx!

    Thanks again Jay, got three of these, such a versatile pedal, much more than a screamer or a red distortionary thingy, on my board, definately cuts thru mix if needs be...

    Sweet! Spider Webs, the song where someone pulled me aside and showed me the magic world of pinch harmonics. I was sure it was done with a pedal, believe it or not!

    nice demo! i compared both the trex moller and the diva drive and perfered the diva drive,it just had something extra like more sparkle and just colored the tone in a better way to my ear. moller seemed more average tube screamer type with my set up which was nice but i went with diva drive to add to my tone and use it with mix knob in middle and gain knob down so im just boosting signal and thickening tone,works great with amp gain at 4-5! does what it was suppose to do,enhance your sound instead of trying to sound like a tube screamer.this less mid hump and more transparent but adds a certain sparkle and harmonics to an already decent sound without sucking out your low end like tube screamer.

    Cheers!

    Great demo, thanks Jay. I own the old Moeller - do you think that the Diva is effectively the same pedal as the Moeller, only in a smaller box?

    • @JayLeonardJ
      @JayLeonardJ  7 років тому +1

      They are quite similar, but I do find the Diva a bit less coloured as the Moeller. Both are amazing pedals though :)

    Does it seem to you to cut out low end like a stock tube screamer?

    • @JayLeonardJ
      @JayLeonardJ  7 років тому +1

      It depends where that voicing switch is. That is where you can get deeper than a Tube Screamer or just as direct :)

    • @mikes062
      @mikes062 7 років тому

      +JayLeonardJ ok cool! I've been looking around for a while (haven't had the money yet) for an early Marshall in a box type tone, like the Charlie Brown (I'd gladly take yours off your hands! LOL) BTW I just found your channel yesterday or the day before and love it! You seem very excited about demos and they're really helpful. you play great too! I should be better for having played 15 years...😳🙄😁

    • @toddyeates271
      @toddyeates271 7 років тому

      no,it doesnt suck out the low end like tube screamer unless you want it to.i use the mix knob about 40-50% and still retain good low end,tight and chuncky not flubby! great overdrive,compared with 5 others and this was my favorite! using with mesa boogie mark five 35 with amp gain about half way and almost no gain on pedal just boosting signal and thickening sound with added harmonics! makes any amp sound better!

      Some people are calm players and own it. Some people are energetic players and own it. Life would be soo boring if everybody played the same. Why does Jay have to conform to your own preference? Just a thought for you bro👍🏻 no beef.

    • @samuraiapocalypse704
      @samuraiapocalypse704 7 років тому +4

      Sorry bud, not to rag but Trying to keep a video under 10 min is torture as a good pedal can take up to an hour to demonstrate all the tonal goodies. Jay probably also tries to squeeze as much in there as possible. If he slows down he will get trolled on needing to speed up.👍🏻
