Just found your channel, only the presentation was enough to make me subscribe straight away... :)
Heeey, I have a question! I have one of those pedals, and I don’t know how to use battery, and I don’t have a power supply, it’s some kind of switch or it’s just not working?
That's some good Fizzle Fuzzle (great name for a carbonated iced-tea). Loving the variety man, always appreciate your gear vids. T-Rex, Suhr Badger and PRS, haha that is going to give some pedal nerd a geargasm. Great stuff man.
Nice £58
Hello man great videos!!!I have a question.I am between this duel pedal and the blackstar double lt pedal. The idea is to have 2 different drives with different gain and level in one pedal. What is your opinion on these two??Thanks very much!
Hey cool videi man!
I'm pretty much looking for a slight overdrive and cleanish boost,
I guess the dual drive is too heavy for that but do you know if the ego drive can do such a thing?
Another option would be the HB vintage drive with a clean boost pedal..
Guten tag aus die Niederlande! (My German is terrible haha)
Is this pedal similar to t-rex´s Mean Machine?
Fizzle-Fuzzle... I like it!
this one or ts mini?
Is it a light overdrive or an heavy overdrive pedal
Hi Henning, just want to say i bought this (and the Ghost tone and Playback pedals) on the basis of your video. I did not click the link and for that im sorry but i will be mentioning you in all 3 reviews of my pedals that i submit to Thoman and make it clear you are why i know about the pedals. This pedal though....WOW!!! i expected it to be ok...its not ok...its fricken lush...i love it, I bought it originally to make a simple back up board, but this sounds so good it might end up on my propper board, the reverb and delay are great also
thanks jack!
EytschPi42 no probs Henning keep the vids up i love them, you do great demo's, and i trust you when you say somethings good, hell i have 3 bits of proof in the form of the trex pedals i bought, so thanks bro
mein lieber HP,

I don't understand why you get so many downvotes, this vid was quite informative and you did a great demo of it. Also if you read this, can it give a nice bright sound or is it more on the muddy/fuzzy end of the spectrum?
+Davy Coningx i have just bought one, i would say it does both depending on tone settings
Ich würde das Gerät gerne im Laden selber kaufen, damit ich es vorher auch probe spielen etc. kann. Gibt es irgendeine Möglichkeit, dass du auch bei einem Kauf im Laden einen Bonus bekommst?
i was about to drop 2x this on a dual drive pedal, and still was having hard time finding a decent one for that, im sold
Good video! In your opinion, which pedal is better between this one and the T- Rex Mudhoney II ?
Can't really comment on that since I've never played the MUDHONEY... sorry !
Hey man, great video!
I'm building a pedalboard and I was leaning towards a Mooer Cruncher for my lead tone and then I watched this video. xD
Besides the added flexibility, how do you think this pedal compares to the cruncher?
JpOctavarium I don't know the Cruncher, so it is hard for me to comment.... here you get T-Rex quality and switchable gain for about the same price !!!!
Thanks for the answer! I already added this pedal to my shopping cart hehe
Cheers!
Great pedal have it now for over 2 years and can't part with it :) Great for strats to beef it up your sound for more rocky setting even with classic single coils gives nice drive to ol'strat...my tubscreamer enjoys retirement :P lol
Is it good for blues rock is it a tube screamer
Finally a demo of this pedal! I was very curious about these T-Rex Thomann pedals. Are you going to do the other pedals as well?
Uploading as we speak... all 4 !!!
EytschPi42 Awesome, thanks !
It costs now 79€!!! I think i will buy one....
Hi, nice video. I am very interested in this dual pedal. I am looking for a Rat sound as a distortion (i have one) but i need a good boost for solos with long sustain in the same pedal if possible. Do you think this pedal could give me that sound? Thank you.
Juanma c Hey... it sounds great, but I don't think it sounds like a RAT !
+EytschPi42 this pedal is nothing like a Rat, Rats make me squirm i hate them (the pedal type) most overated pedal i have played...this pedal i far better than a Rat and imo much more versatile and the gain structure is just lovely
***** i have an HT Dist and HT DistX from same range, I dont like the DistX at all, just compresses way too much, you can get a nice tone out of the Dist but hum is too loud so uuseless. Dual Drive is one of the bestt i own , and I have about 20. chanel A is similar to my Walrus Audio Mayflower which is a great mid gain drivee and chanel B is thick full and sludgy. A grungy hi gain sound thats in between flubby or tight, and almost reaches fat fuzz with gain past 2/3 oclock. Much warmer and valve like (pre 3 oclock) and far leess harsh than a rat
Henning Dude!! i needed a new pedal after my Boss DS-1 died saw this video and got it in a hart beat! great video man.
Is it based on a DS1 then??
Looks like the T-Rex Yellow Drive that is a US Guitar Center model
i like your awesome Videos!! :)
Thanks you Felix... more and more coming !
I tried it but much too fuzzy, a real horror if you prefer a stabile tone-setting. Awful.
I have the T-Rex Yellow Drive. This looks like the same pedal in fancier Anniversary paint. I use it for a low to mid gain option, next to a Friedman BE-OD for the rest.
I have a Yellow Drive also. Great pedal. It is the America version of the Dual Drive. Same innards, different paint/name.
Nice pedal very natural but not enough gain in the yellow channel plus it's very tube screamer in it's overall voicing ok for lead but I don't like it for the rythmn stuff
this dude work for Thomann!
So sad, that they can't be stacked one into other.
The LEDs are too bright
LOL..."get this thing before they're gone"...4 years later they are still here and priced at 69 so what was the point in rushing? losing money? uh uh!!
that face is pure enioy
