- I am checking out the latest Danish Collection T-Rex pedals and having a jam to a couple of Jam tracks from the Andertons Guitar Jam Tracks Vol 2.
In the video I also use a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV, a Walrus Audio Arp-87 and a Fathom Reverb, a Ditto looper and a Boss Tuner.

Jim hendrix had Pete honore posters on his bedroom wall
Holy cow I just seen a Strat like that Sunday!!!
Seriously the exact same thing!
Was thinking about Cocaine there for a second for some reason at the beginning. Just came over from lick dojo who was doing licks from Clapton so that intro track sounded just like Cocaine at first.
You really did those pedals justice! Thanks for showing T Rex some love.
When I was starting out with pedals, a friend that had a music store convinced me to get an Alberta floor model that went on sale for half the price. It was the original without the dino logo. Reluctantly bought it.
After all these years that's the one drive pedal that never left my board. Not only that, but I swapped all my drives/boosters to T Rex. They just sound so sweet !
T-Rex pedals rock
I am only a few seconds in to the video, and LOVE the tone. And the playing is marvelous as ever, Pete.
Dear Sir Honoré. Your are The Magician. Amazing demonstration. Because of You, I bought a T-REX Alberta Pedal . Congratulations. Receive my big embrace. Luiz Henrique Costapraia from Brazil
Mr Pete is feeling inspired today! Some nice playing there! Thank you!
Yeaaaaah gurl. Sounds amazing (as always)
Another great demonstration! You’re the man. I have the T-Rex Mudhoney Danish Collection and the T-Rex Alberta Danish Collection on my pedalboard... Great pieces of gear!
Damn you D'Pete!! I was set on putting a case forward to the boss for a Mudhoney and now you've thrown down yet another pair of ace wholly knowing we'd likely want them all!
I got an original tremster (2000ish) and viper they have been the only constants on my pedalboard. Recon the Alberta is going to get a once over into my drive channel
Dan Pete! great great playing
yay Pete! more more more
Wow! Now add a couple more, glue em together for the Soul Mate II
Some tones there Pete. I have an old Tremster-someone once described it to me as buttery -which as good a word as any. With a bit of delay and reverb it can get rather pleasant. Lovely playing as ever my good man.
Hey Pete, would it be possible for you to make a video about all your guitars and gear? Would love to see what you use most and some nice tricks, love your playing, thanks mate!
Really nice demo of what those pedals can do man. Some amazingly lush soundscapes that you produced with the Tremster by the way. I love that atmospheric looper stuff. Now it seems I might need a Tremster pedal lol. The Alberta seems a very usable pedal too but I have an original Gristle King by Tim Jauernig so a little hard to fit it in and justify to the wife :P
I've got an original mk1 Alberta with the dino design for £65 on its way, this just makes me more excited!
Awesome!!
I've got the original Tremster wich is IMO, one of the best if not THE best tremolo pedal. Reminds the tube vibratos featured in some old amps \m/
17:40 Yeeeeah
With Alberta, the sizzle is there, ok, but it seems to darken/fatten the tone as well. Is this typical for ts-types? I dont feel that with my Maxon, but I use it exclusively for boosting.
It's probably more like Boss blues driver. :) But I like it. I have old Mudhoney and it's perfect, by the way.
Sold my Alberta ll to get one of these. Also picked up a DC reissue tremster. Can't blame Pete as there's a lot of hype everywhere about the handbuilt being better than the Alberta ll. Have to say there's not much in it tonewise. What I do notice is that the foot switches on the tremster and alberta DCs are not the same quality as the albert ll, mudhoney ll, Moller ll, Comp nova or even the Creamer that I also have. Clicky, Sticky, snappy switch action is cheap as Chinese. I know a lot of people will argue against this, but I think I would have been better sticking with my Alberta ll. I feel a little violated for losing the better pedal. Will be looking out for an older model again and selling this on.
It must be said, for someone that instantly starts giggling at anything that comes close to being a sexual inuendo, the choice of going with "DPTV" is pretty surprising. Or is it intentional?...
To the one person who disliked this, please see a medical doctor
