That’s my dad I helped him in this video If you saw a kid in that video that’s me I also have a UA-cam channel if you want to check it out its the icon.
I guess i have to get one of these next year instead of getting a very fancy MTB LoL I also simulated a tappes horn for it. It can go down to way under 20hz and as much output as you would ever need😁

Hello there Javad and thank you for doing this video. I'm wondering how has the Kraken held up so far? Does it have really good low end like 16hz, 20hz etc. Is it better than other large subwoofers that you've tested? Thanks in advance.
It's held up great, I have really pushed this thing and it's had no issues, it literally shakes the whole house. I'd say for the money this is a great option and one of the best options on the market in a 21" size
@@javadshadzi4824 Ok then thanks for your response. I've been looking at the Krakens for a while now, sense 2020-something, and I'm now trying to decide between the Kraken or Resilient Sounds Platinum 18s. The 21" Krakens are 21mm x-max, and the 18" Resilient Sounds Platinum are 30mm x-max... So a 21" sub with 21mm. or an 18" sub with 30mm🤔? Kind of a tough one for me. What would be your expertise on this subject of cone size vs x-max? If you don't mind. Thanks again.
No worries. Just to mention it... The most realistic snare sound i have heard from a PA 18inch playing free air😂😂😂 In a stereo Setup with a 15inch woofer paired to the ATC dome mid would probably top that i assume tho. I certainly need the blessing right now. But soon live will get uphill again i'm sure.
@@javadshadzi4824 top man thanks for the reply, does the hf10ak need any notch filters to knock down peaks, or is it so good that it can do without? BTW that subwoofer madness
@@javadshadzi4824 thanks dude, I'm going to get some, it's hard to find compression drivers for audiophile use, seems like faital Pro are top of the list for this application
It will, an 8 cubic foot enclosure tuned to 20hz if flat to below 20hz which is very good for home theater. This driver is optimal from 20hz and up but will work lower than that if you can fit the port in the box.
@@javadshadzi4824 thank you so much. I'm looking at getting 2 for the back of my cinema. I'm in Australia and can't find flat backs so I'll have to make the boxes myself. I might go with sealed as I don't know the ported specs. Going of your video the Dayton 1000 watt amp would be fine for them ?
@@benfits8768 the 1000w will work, a 2000w amp will get 3db more and a 4k amp 6db more than the 1k which is a good amount, but you can start with the 1k amp and sealed at 10cubic feet is a good option and easy enough to build.
@@javadshadzi4824 thanks alot. I have 2 paradigm sub 1s at the moment. To expensive to get the new ones so I thought this would be a good option to add in the back of the room. I'll have a look as some other amps then. I'm just not sure how to do the RCA. Because the other amps don't have a connection. Do you have a video on that by chance?
comes with an enclosure, nice!

I just bought 4 of 21 in with Vortex drive.
How does the vortex perform on your system?
nice.. comes w/ pre-made box, just take that front panel & attach it to the bottom! :)
You're not far off! With some bracing and sealing this would totally work.
that is huge have to get one.... would you have a cut list for a ported box for this sub..?..
What box did you put it in? Did you ever run a frequency response test to see how low it could go at about -3dB?

Una pregunta que precio tiene esa bocina amigo
Question for you, have you tried b&c de250?? If so how does it compare to hf10ak, or hf108
I have used both the DE250 and HF10AK, 250 is very nice and very popular but i’d put the HF10AK above it as a higher end lower distortion option
