In a car it would be no problem but idk about a room. In the right room with the right amp in a horn enclosure you could probably tip 140. If not with 1 then no more than 4 would do it.
@@TheMessenger212Vortex is optimized for more slam and impact up high, Kraken is optimized for lower bass. If you're wanting pure sub duty Kraken is more optimised for that but Vortex may give you more midbass slam. Think rumble vs slam.
Vortex seems to have a lighter moving mass than its Kraken counterpart. Vortex also has higher sensitivity, with the same -3dB extension to 18hz, same linear xmax of 21mm. If sensitivity is important to you, go for the Vortex. Otherwise, choose the one you like to look at.
That is a tricky question. The suggestion is an amp that goes up to 2000 watts RMS. But if you want to ask one of our techs for specifics, you can reach out here: Email: Tech@Parts-Express.com Phone: 1-800-338-0531 Hours 8am-6pm M-F EST / Closed Sat & Sun
You gotta be joking, or at least don't know what you're talking about lmao, i have two of daytons 15" pa-380 woofers inside two yamaha br-15 cabinets that get 350 to 500 rms daily and never had an issue, they were only 75 bucks each and sound incredible. Im sure this 21" woofer is just as good for the money they're asking. Go bang on your pyle subs some more buddy! If you heard this 21" sub in a horn enclosure, you'd eat your words.
Go look at Sundown. They know how to build a sub. I've used and currently use lots of Dayton Audio gear but their drivers aren't are durable or tough as they are making them out to be.
97.7dB sensitivity, 18hz extension, 7 liters displacement within linear excursion? $497.90USD each? That's insane!

This type of subwoofer versus subwoofer with runber surround, which is better in bass?

Generally the rubber surround is best for car audio or home theater, the other ''PA style'' surround is better for PA or when efficiency is important
@@FSXgta nah. there's no truth to either of your statements imo. besides, foam is superior to both. they will all rot btw.

I think they stopped making them. 😢
are you telling me that i only need four of those to make my room shake?
1 is probably fine....but you can use 4. or 8....or 16....whatever you think is best! :)
No no what they mean to say is you need 84 of these to shake your room. 6 more will relocate your home
they were so good they discontinued them.
I doubt that it goes up to 600Hz
The frequency response is: 18 - 600Hz
Tiny tinsel leads for 2k rms
They are bigger than they look in the video.
It’s a short cable run, low resistance so less heat can sustain pretty high currents and the video makes it look smaller.
The leads are perfectly fine for 2k... It's such a short distance that even 18 or 20 gauge could handle that and not have an issue...
Junk.
Where is your test results?
