This thing looks crazy. It’s the xmax combined with the high sensitivity that leads me to believe that this motor assembly is pretty special. It’s Jan. 2022, and the price is $549, free shipping. I expect this sub to go up to $639 in spring 2022 if it follows the typical new hit product released from parts express. Expensive driver, but it looks like it might be good. I’m looking to get one.
@@victoryengineer I'm currently running 150 w plate amp on a 500w infinity 10" sub and it shakes my whole house with the gain only just barely above halfway.
What was that thing you put in the center of it? I mean Coins are getting Vary Hard to come by since they want use to go Cashless and to Go Digital or Even Implanted... So It couldn't be a Coin... Also Nice to see it comes with it's own Enclosure/Sub Box... Pretuned? Or Make a Video turning it Into a Sub Box...
How is it for noise and distortion compared to the Ultimax 18? The Ultimax is pretty quiet even at near full rated excursion and distortion isn't too bad. How does this one compare?
Dayton Ultimax UM18-22 is about the same. The Ultimax may actually slightly beat an 18" Kraken (if it had similar properties to the 21" model). Chances are they'd probably perform about the same though.
Nope, not even close. The FS is on 30hz. This is more tuined to car audio and not home theater. I'm more satisfied with the Dayton audio ultimax 18. To be honest. Stereo integrity subs are still better if you have the money.
@@Dooglastein I rounded it. A subwoofer of this caliber should have no more than 20hz fs. Car or Pro audio would be this subs applications. Not so much for home theater use.
Eminence NSW6021-6 21" is close. Designed and assembled in the USA. 35-40% more, but can do just about everything this woofer can, and weighs half as much.
That would go great in my next boom box build
Boombox? More like boom room! Haha!
Lol kinda thought this line, 21" sub, plate amp on the back with the line in coming from a diy boom build line out

What an absolute monster! I want a few of these! :)
Could you imagine 2 of those with 500w plate amps in a ported enclosure for a home theater? I could if I had the room!
Cool but a 500w plate amp isn't nearly enough for that driver. It's rated at 2,000w rms and 4,000w max. You're gonna want a pro amp to drive these :)

You’re gonna want something that puts out 2000 watts per channel rms for this beast. Sinbosen fp would be perfect for a couple of them
Justin S. Can you make a video of it?
@@DarthPrater629 Yea, 500W wouldn't even tickle the terminals, lol. 4k RMS for each to have plenty on tap for dynamic peaks!
Needs a dule coil setup

What dose it sound like?
Nice little tweeter ;)
WHAT?! NO!!!! HAHA
One question please... I need T/S parameters. Mms, Qts, Fs, Vas, BL. Thanks!

thats 7 questions
I would love to have one of these for a project but that price tag is crazy for me I think I'm going to save up and buy one
They should call this thing The Big Bad Wolf because I'm pretty sure it would blow down this old ass house.
Damn! that's a beast.
Now let's see some movement.
Love it!
Please make an 18" model!

Who shrunk the Coke?
No Cokes were harmed in the making of this unboxing video.
website says the magnet is made from Alnico. This must be a typo.
It's ferrite
Can one of those produce 100db at 1hz in a large room?

@@randomtube8226 We like low FS in mobile audio as well. 30+ is for SPL applications.
Not a fan of the tinsel leads already. That's gonna drive me nuts if I bought a sub that didn't have them stitched into the spiders.
get counseling
Can it be used in a car or truck sheeeesh imagine 2 of them with the best amplifiers RealRealTalk AllTruesNoLies💯💯💯 #MonsterGorillaSpeakers
I would pay double or even triple if made in USA
