It sounds like it has kind of a hot cam, and perhaps no "fast idle"... is that the reason for the extra steps involved for cold start? Heck of a build!!
It is nice it's a lot of horsepower for a Volkswagen there's a lot going on there with getting it running and be nicer if it was just more TurnKey than it is
I think it’s a Mexi/ Brazilian bug not a super- the late ones had elephant feet rear lights, he could change the rear wings/lights/bumpers to make it look 70’s or 60’s with more
Noice build yo. I miss my 71 turboed beetle. It was 400hp and was beating mustangs back in the 80s and 90s.
Congratulations, what a great looking car, wish I had that engine in my Manx
My 1500 engine has the 41 horsepower covered but not the other 300 , love these last generation beetles
My 3 playtoy summer cars don't add up to that much power 🤣🤣
I had a 71 turbo beetle with a 2400cc. It made 400hp and was beating mustangs back in the day.
Esse Fusca e do Brasil!!
Sweet ! What beast . I love that growel .
Dahora a fubeka hein mano! 👏👏👏
Nice build. love the porsche 2 liter 2 tone wheels too

Hi! how do you regulated a cold start? Do you have IAC for cold ralenty or supplied with the fueltech controller?
Thanks in advanced!
0,40 de map na lenta é comandão! Nice setup bro!
You do not use an intercooler of some sort, how does the inlet temperatures behave ? Thanks
Great video! Hope my 69 ghia can sound 1/2 as good when completed! 👍✌️
Can it do burnouts? What time down the 1/4 mile?
Perfect for 914
You'd think you could program a cold start file into that FuelTech 🤔
You would think an aftermarket engine management would do that right.
My VW is similar.....it will not idle on its own until it warms up.
😂😂😂😂
air cooled issues.
You can absolutely tune a good cold start into FuelTech. It has nothing to do with aircooled vw's, it's all in the tuner.
That's an animal ,man

Cool ug, brazilian right as it has those rectangular diales in the dash
What shifter is that? I need that for my type 3
This one could get u smartly down the tarmac ❤
What is this engine temp actually measures?
How on earth do you keep the engine cool on the street?
Is this a Brazilian beattle right ? Fueltech in portuguese, km/h
How does ..what looks like a basic fan...handle the heat.
Which camshaft? Qual comando?
NICE ! THAT´S WHAT VOLKSWAGENS HAVE TO BE LIKE : Endless power but strictly aircooled
It sounds mean as hell bro beautiful Car I. In process of building Type 4 2.0 ltr out of Bus im going stroke ut to 2.7 ltr I'm hoping for 450 WHP.
Duuude🤠😳
Hi man type 1 engine what size cc and what turbo configuration please
Okay if you can get 300hp from a flat 4 joe much can I get from a flat six corvair engine
That would be sweet too have I'm my 74 super beetle. A poor man can dream 😢
If this engine was in a car for which it was built for, we would not have to wait so long for a warm up, I suppose. Why is it necessary with a beetle?
why not put in an idle valve?
Só o painel já diz que este Fusca é Brasileiro ...😊
Detalhe para Fueltech em português rs
300 + ❤❤❤+++
What year is the car?
Have you considered using Porsche Fan Shroud win 911 Alternator would give you all power you need and cool the engine better.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Looks nice and clean, but a bit inconvenient. No automatic choke?
Not a carburetor. I'm not sure of the programming capabilities of the Fuel Tech FI.
Vende esse monster ?
Tuff to squash this bug.
I would've got the oil pressure up before I started the car up and rev it to 2500 RPM
Your priming it basically
EFI
That sounds broken
Intake taking to much hot air
A super beetle though…. Mehhh should of had your mechanic build a early 60’s at least
I think it’s a Mexi/ Brazilian bug not a super- the late ones had elephant feet rear lights, he could change the rear wings/lights/bumpers to make it look 70’s or 60’s with more
Defo not a super beetle
Way too complicated! Beautiful looking engine though.
Too complicated for you, maybe.
@@Danlovestrivium Maybe so. Thank you for your kind words.
What a boring video you could have took it for a ride instead of just listening to the engine run
