I've seen some stupidly expensive kitbashes before, from Pete the Wargamer and such, but your takes the prize. I mean, the amazing results speak for themselves but this is something only members of the royal family could afford, holy shit.
Yeah, it isn't exactly cheap to do this level of kit bashing, but I'm not buying whole kits for each bit, I constantly keep an eye out for deals on models and second-hand bundles of bits on ebay, which helps a lot
You have fully inspired me! I saw this BT video a few days ago, but I then attended Warhammer World for their anniversary this weekend and...Armigers were purchased. I've already started the base build of a Vanguard and Northstar. Amazing work dude!
The detail on this and the problem solving that went into fuguring how to kitbash this from your mind to reality is just amazing. Really cool that you've shared it and crazy good work
you have reached the ultra level of kitbashing and customisation that i wish i could even get to 1% of, awesome work and would love to see more of them from you
Yeah, it would be easier to do this all with 3d printed stuff, but I just really enjoy the process of experimenting and figuring stuff out with already existing bits
This is an insane build and I have a ton of respect. The fact that there’s a SERE kit complete with a wingman and knife shows how much love you put into this. It’s a work of art and you should be super proud of this build. Please keep making these and posting videos
Your AdMech color scheme is gorgeous, it is unique while still being very believable. I love that color scheme in general, and it looks lovely when applied to the miniatures
This is some top notch conversion work. Thanks for sharing. Also really dig your admech. Very cool looking group and great way to give conversions and coherent theme/home.
Your robots 🤖 are always amazing to look at. As a tattoo artist I draw inspiration from everything an get super excited when i see stuff like this. Genuinely it fills my head full of ideas of what I can make an then produce on to skin. After that the only trouble I have is finding clients as crazy as me who wanna get IMO super awesome robots
@DumbRobotStuff-fh6dz that's what happened when I stumbled across your YT all inseen was awesome robots an I was scrolling away n watched everything. Even trying to convince my friend to get one tattooed on him lol
Probably will do since that's a build I'm doing now, and I'm planning on doing videos on all my big builds going forward. And if you like my stuff, definitely check titanfall out since as you can see it's a big inspiration for me and I often use ideas from it
I've made a lot of admech stuff already, but it was before started making full videos on them so it's only a 360 video of the finished models, check out my shorts for them. I do have a version of Cawl too, though it only uses a few actual parts from Cawl, it's my "Tech Priest Conversion"
the raven guard box comes with two of those not dreadnought walkers and id love to see how you did your dreadnought cause the look of it would fix the Pobos manned walkers.
You forgot the heavy missile boxes from that Demolition(?) Marines set, would be perfect as a central box, to those two sets of four missile boxes. Then look at "Tandem Wing Airplanes Where Almost A Thing In WWII" here on youtube. After which, look at the 40k Avenger Strike Fighter, can you see it? The hidden Tandem Winged Aircraft? So, what's next? Bubblegum Crisis it's Knight Sabers Hardsuits? Or are we looking more at something from the Megazone 23 (or the never brought out Robotech movie), here? Now that would be a way to bring a bike to a mech battle, would you not say?
Hi I have been watching your video and been enjoy the stuff you make. So I hope you don`t mind but I do have more then a few questions to ask If that is ok. I start with this question. Can you please tell what kit you used for the feet and legs? I know what that with a Armiger Knight.
Sure, I mention it in the video at at 2:22, but I use the armiger legs mostly, with footpads from an onager dunecrawler to build out the front of the foot, and then I used a lot of plasticard to armour up the legs
Hi, thank you for replying to my post. Can you please tell me what kits and bits you used? Is there any place you have posted hi-res photos of this build? Thanks again.
Maybe, it's an older build so I barely have any pictures of it in the making, which means I don't have enough to make a proper video on, but at some point I make a video covering a lot of my older stuff like that
It is a bit confusing, but I'd be happy to answer any questions you have here. I used all the in-progress build pictures I had in the video so I don't have anything else to show unfortunately. It started with the armiger chest side panels assembled around the old armiger back which became the new faceplate, and I used a lot of sprue pieces to connect them at the top, and plasticard as a floor to it, just to hold it together before I added everything else and armoured it up
@@DumbRobotStuffThanks thats really helpful. did you trim parts off of the side panels at all? they seem slightly more cropped than they are in the sprue.
@@little_isalina yes the body parts is trimmed quite a bit, the front and back of the original piece is cut back a little (you can see it best in the picture at 5:45), plus there's some boxy kind of pieces (you can see at the front of the chest at 1:47) that I cut/trimmed off completely
@@DumbRobotStuffThanks again, this helps a lot. I was thinking about turning Imperial knights into a little more scifi mech faction (not exactly recreating titanfall or anything but something with a little more of that flavor) and found the picture of this on google, and then your video purely by chance. These pointers give me a good idea of the scope of such a project
An armiger kit, and a lot of bits, like onager footpad and supports, kastellan robot hands, coldstar commander backpack vent, kataphron tread armour and weapon barrels, and a fair amount of other stuff too, should all be listed in the video
I've seen some stupidly expensive kitbashes before, from Pete the Wargamer and such, but your takes the prize. I mean, the amazing results speak for themselves but this is something only members of the royal family could afford, holy shit.

“Protocol 3: Burn the heretics”
I'd seen your photos of the mech, but I didn't know about the magnetization and cockpit details! Amazing!
Yeah, I really went crazy with all the extra details and features for this one
I love that you've basically made an action figure toy you can play with.
You have fully inspired me! I saw this BT video a few days ago, but I then attended Warhammer World for their anniversary this weekend and...Armigers were purchased. I've already started the base build of a Vanguard and Northstar. Amazing work dude!
I'm always happy to hear I helped other people make their own stuff, and keep an eye out, hopefully my own armiger northstar won't be too far off
@DumbRobotStuff-fh6dz I look forwards to it dude! Amazing work!
The detail on this and the problem solving that went into fuguring how to kitbash this from your mind to reality is just amazing. Really cool that you've shared it and crazy good work
You really got every detail! I was surprised it couldn’t walk on its own!
This one is utterly fantastic. As mentioned before, the magnetization is incredible, and the cockpit as well. Props!
As someone who loves warhammer and titanfall this is a combination I’ve been begging to see! This is absolutely amazing! Keep up the good work 👍
you have reached the ultra level of kitbashing and customisation that i wish i could even get to 1% of, awesome work and would love to see more of them from you
That thing is so SICK but I cant even imagine how tedious it wad to magnatize that bad boy!
It was a lot of work, but it's all for a cool mech so it was definitely worth it in the end
I absolutely love the aesthetic, but even the articulation alone is just awesome.
i love it! This is my favorite way of customisation. In times of 3D printers, this gives me joy and makes me want one! Damn
Yeah, it would be easier to do this all with 3d printed stuff, but I just really enjoy the process of experimenting and figuring stuff out with already existing bits
This makes me so happy. I love Titanfall 2 and the amount of detail you put into this is just incredible. Thank you for sharing this
Genuinely sick, I recently made a armoured dewback for starwars legion inspired by videos like this.

Thanks! Yeah, Pete's stuff is great too, and was a big inspiration for me to start making these videos myself
Your army is sooo unique already, I love the colour scheme as well.
These builds inspire me to try something similar, they look so good!
Love it! Easily one of the coolest builds I've seen in a long time.
Titanfall 2 is such a good game that people are still talking about it 8 years later
Yeah, specially because for most of those years they couldn't even log into the game! Good times!
Literary the coolest mini i have ever seen..
And i really love the videos you are putting out!!!!!! Keep it up pilot 🌟
This is the pinnacle of kitbashing👍
Holy shit, this was so unbelievably over-the-top! Craaaazy good build, loved the video!

I always love watching your progress. Watching other converters feeds my own machine. Keep up the great work and thanks for the break down!
Incredible work. By far my favourite kitbash to date, thank you for sharing this with us.
I finally get my most anticipated video of the year, great work. Will for sure try to replicate this
I need more of this, because of you I already have an armiger and an onager on the way that I plan to gut until I feel comfortable
This is some top notch conversion work. Thanks for sharing. Also really dig your admech. Very cool looking group and great way to give conversions and coherent theme/home.
What an awesome conversion! Really great skills
Brilliant kitbashing and modelling, and an awesome paint-job to match!
I definitely wanna see the dreadnought. This build was sublime
Not only do we need to see the other Titans, we need to see the pilot squad too!
this is so incredibly sick
I would like to see videos on ANY mech builds you have in mind.
Good thing that mech builds are what I like to do the most then
Gunburster hell yeah!
Hell yeah!

Northstar build vid would be sickkkk
I'm currently working on the northstar itself, so there'll probably be a following video too, just gotta actually build the thing first
This is so lovely.
This is awesome. Keep it up!!

Excellent work
Amazing work!
Would love to see ur legion mech awesome work 👏
That's so cool!
mad props on the build man just to have your bits box would be great...
My bits box(es) as something I've been building up for years, definitely helps my builds a lot
Northstar video please 🙏 your kitbash work is great I'm planning my own versions having seen yours
you made me actually try kitbashing and its rather
fun
Scarab jumpscare! ❤😂
I love me some mech builds, so, feel free to bring on the Dreadnought ;-)
Incredible
Luv Titanfall
Luv Knights
Simple as
I’m now thinking of the RPG mech game called “Lancer”.
There's been a lot of art for lancer mechs I've liked, unfortunately never had the chance to play it myself though
@@DumbRobotStuff you want to try and kitbash some of them?
AMAZING WORK! did you ever consider using lego parts? such as many many lego systems, technic and bionicle series parts?
wow that is awesome sauce

Seriously very impressive. Do you have any idea how many hours you put into that build? Anyway I've 👍 and subscribed looking forward to future content
hard to say specifically, but roughly it took me about a month, with an hour or two on it each day, and thanks for subscribing
Check out Anvil Industry's "DIGITAL - RECON DROP TROOPERS (FULL BUNDLE)". You'd appreciate it 🤙🏼
Great build though mate. Mind-blowing detail!
One day my own conversions will match your skill… one day
Thanks!!
if it were a kit id have a army of them.
shuld have made the Ronien sword in to a chainsword, seense it already have the saw teeth on the bottom
I might do something like that later, I do have a few spare giant chainswords from questoris knights
Any chanche we get to see how you did your Ballistarii/Dragoon kitbash?
Maybe, it's an older build so I barely have any pictures of it in the making, which means I don't have enough to make a proper video on, but at some point I make a video covering a lot of my older stuff like that
Which kits would you recommend buying and which would you recommend just buying individual bits of to recreate this?
The only kit you need most of is the armiger, just getting the individual bits from everything else would be fine
15:56 is that metal gear rex in the bottom left?
okay hear me out,
Megas XLR, with an Ork vibe
it would fit with the ork hotrod style too, orks get a good excuse to kitbash/convert almost anything with their looting
i wish youd gone more into detail on how you assembled the chest.
It is a bit confusing, but I'd be happy to answer any questions you have here. I used all the in-progress build pictures I had in the video so I don't have anything else to show unfortunately.
