*Thank You Guys!!! I’m going to do a Poll inside Patreon for our next few songs to rock out LED ZEP WEEK! Don’t MEET me there! BEAT ME THERE!! 🖤*
Make sure to check out the movie song remains the same
Do yourself a huge favor and watch the live version of this........ somehow it is even better than the album version (and not just a little bit better) stunning live performance ua-cam.com/video/_ZiN_NqT-Us/v-deo.html
Baby Making Music!
Consider listening to The Firm. Lead singer Paul Rodgers from Bad Company and Jimmy Page. They were underrated. ua-cam.com/video/NZdmwd6n_Uk/v-deo.html&ab_channel=GratefulChild
Totally the Blues. They loved the old black
Musicians. That's where they got their stuff from..
There've been a lot of great bands... but Led Zeppelin stands alone at the top of the mountain. There, I said it.
floyd too
Agreed...1,000%. 🤘🎸🔥
Watch the live version. It'll melt your face off.
I think it might be one of the greatest performances ever captured on film.
Yes it will!!
Agreed, the intro and guitar solo by Jimmy are 🔥🔥🔥
Has to be the 73 msg version as well
YES...OMG.
John Paul Jones is so much MORE than just a bass player.
basically if it’s not drums, vocals or guitar, and you can hear it, John Paul Jones is responsible, he plays like 30 instruments to an insane level, i do not want to imagine a Led Zeppelin without JPJ
JPJ is so much more than just the GREATEST BASS PLAYER EVER. Jimmy Page said JPJ is the most naturally talented musician of the 4
Of them. Let that sink in for a minute. And plays the 30 or so instruments the other gentleman mentioned. And played on 60+ #1 hits BEFORE Led Zeppelin as a session musician. And then produced some defining albums in the ‘90’s
The Silent Assassin
Robert Plant, male version of Janis Jopilin!!!!
One rule, don’t ever stop the song during a guitar solo. 😊
I'm almost there, I hope he don't do that.
The live version of this song is an EXPERIENCE that you must not miss...😊
Yes, Led Zepp is bluesy. Preach it brother. Having church up in here. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
All 4 members are individual masters of their art put together in one band aka Best Rock N Roll Band ever!!!
I want to hear this for the first time again
John Paul Jones is not only one of the all time best bassists, he is an incredible keyboardist
You always have to listen to Zep songs more than once to listen to the different layers.
listening to him bob and weave through all those great songs is a pleasure.
I saw Robert Plant when he was 63. He was so powerful. I was already a massive Zeppelin fan so it made it even better. He was singing with another band he was with at the time and about halfway through started singing some zeppelin songs. I almost cried and wet myself at the same time. I’ll never forget it.
Everything stems from the Blues, and this is a masterclass🤘
Welcome to the world of Zeppelin life will never be the same
Aren't they just the best?!! This live at MSG is killer!!
If it’s even possible, the live MSG version is even better.
@@yullt6885 it is better lol. Robert's voice is literally his best in that performance. How he comes into the song live there, is ridiculous.
Yeah, what Julie said!!!!!!
@@andrewcastillo9558 his voice is hundred times better in studio version his voice changed in 1973. listen the original MSG concert recording its worse than the movie version.
The Song Remains the Same/ The Rain Song live at MSG will take you on a journey like no other
The thing about Zep is that all 4 musicians are the best at their craft.... ever!
"I hope they got a lot of music". Bro you've barely scratched the surface. Almost every single song on every single album is a killer. And there are 8 studio albums.
There are 9 studio albums
@@Sam-74710. Don’t forget Physical Graffiti is a double album. 😂
This is by far my favorite song of all time, the full emotion of the song hits me every time.
YOU MUST DO THIS SONG LIVE AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN IT'S A ABSOLUTE MIC DROP MOMENT
Agreed, Jimmy’s 2 solos are 🔥🔥🔥
💕💕💕 *******************SMOOTH SWAMPY SOUTHERN ROCK******************* 💕💕💕
You're gonna love "The Rain Song" and "Goin' to California". . . . .
Both songs sounds like musical journeys.
When the levee breaks
Is a good one too
4 led Zeppelin songs you have to hear "Thank you" "lemon song" "Kashmir" and "Ramble on"
I can’t count well.....4 Led Zeppelin songs you have to react to.....ALL OF THEM!!!
Man, You are ready for "No Quarter" live MSG 73 (uncut guitar version)
Right off the bat, from first exposure, you appreciate every member and their contributions.,. That's commendable.
Someone fell down the Zep hole of happiness
Is that the Blues Van????? I love Led
Zeppelin since I was 12. Plant is one of a kind. I found my band 50 years ago.
It is so fun for us old people to watch you young people discover the greatness of Led Zeppelin!
Best band in the history of bands.
You're excitement is contagious. I've listened to Zep for ever and you're reminding me of the first time I ever heard them and how blown away I was.
You gotta do Kashmir. In The Evening. Dyer Maker. Achilles Last Stand. You know what, screw it. Just do every Zeppelin song. 😂😂 You can never ever go wrong with THE rock Gods
Did he already do the immigrate song?
@@tsfromtx yes, here's the playlist of Every Led Zep reaction he has done
ua-cam.com/play/PLxnB9gq1Mg_QLKf9TMz-mnZR-sT_rF7Cg.html
Over the Hills and Far Away; Whole Lotta Love; Black Dog; Good Times Bad Times; Dazed and Confused; Misty Mountain Hop; Communication Breakdown.
@@joereyes7100 awesome, thanks man
@@tsfromtx you're welcome! Which one would you like for him to react next?
Watching you discover Led Zeppelin is the greatest! My favorite band of all time! Loving this!!! In my opinion, this is their best song ever!
Led Zeppelin " whole Latta love"
Live
@@juliemanarin4127 yes it has to be the live version. He did the audio some time ago and wasn't very enthusiastic about it
Sounds like a Starbucks drink, whole latte love
You mentioned the men in your family loved da blues.... well here ya go.
Dive in. Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band of all time!
This is the only band that I love EVERY single song they have ever done and their catalogue is abundant.
PLEASE do the LIVE version! You’ll be BLOWN away!!! 💙✌️
Woo! Zep is pure gold. Love the reactions. Every song people are shouting out are all worth doing.Their first four albums are: Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II, Led Zeppelin III, and Led Zeppelin IV...every single track is fire.
Next albums were Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti....just as amazing.
This is one where John Paul Jones is playing Hammond organ. This has been put in the Top 100 Guitar Solos of all time by Guitar magazines in the US and UK. In Germany, "Sounds" magazine called it the 16th best song of all time.
You really should also watch the live version of this at MSG 1973. Mind blowing performance! Every Zeppelin performance is different. They are totally Blues based.
YES, Led Zeppelin are a religion to so many of us, past down to our kids like PINK FLOYD. My 32yr old daughter knows every album word for word growing up in a classic Rock household. I'm 52, and still got my ponytail freak flag flying. PEACE LFR FAMILY. HOPE ALL IS WELL. Got something , some Grown up music Van, do yourself a favor and react to Joe Bonamassa, (I'LL PLAY THE BLUES FOR YOU ) live at the GREEK THEATER, if you don't like it you can call me out live. CHALLENGE !! HIPPIE JOE FROM ST . LOUIS, MO PEACE
Watch this live. It’s phenomenal. Robert Plant owns the stage.
I bought this album when I was 14 for $.25. In 1979 I put it on and changed my life into this day is still my favorite. Led Zeppelin is the pinnacle of music. I had a ticket in hand to see them in 1980 unfortunately bonzo passed. I was so close to seeing the greatness
This song, like most Zeppelin songs, are made for live performances. This song is Led Zeppelin. The blues with their stamp on it. They had a unique sound and interpretation of the blues. Spot on reaction! Especially about Bonham’s drums. He crushed those drums and he is thought by many to have been the heart of LZ as is shown by them choosing to disband when he died.
Welcome to the Zeppelin rabbit hole, I was lucky enough to see them live twice. This was my band still is, try Ramble On, Dazed & Confused, Going to California, Lemon song. Just so many songs, you are right, they are also the blues.
I'd like to nominate this reaction for Reaction of The Year please.
all i gotta day is if you want to pause...pause it 7 seconds after you first think to...either you absorb the music and get lost and simply forget the pause...or you do pause and reflect how how it just changed your mood as a whole 👌👍
Led Zeppelin is Bad Ass
Many of their songs were inspired by or covers of blues songs.
No they werent dummy
Jimmy Page is the producer. This song was mixed with analog equipment.... NO computers, auto tune...... just raw talent.
If this dropped TODAY, it would be a sensation.
Your performance in this reaction gets 4 yesses from the judges :=)
🤣🤣🤣💪🏽
Your reaction is exactly my reaction when I first heard Zeppelin!!! :D
You really just have to stand in awe of their musical prowess.
When I discovered Led Zeppelin. every other band took a back seat for a while. I became almost obsessed with them. and if you start your way from the first album and work your way to the last you can see their journey and growth as a band. there first six albums are there best. the last two albums they started to slip a little bit. but still some good songs.
I just bought a huge collection of classic rock LP's to sell and my son took ALL of the Zeppelin Albums!!
I think I found my band, I hope they got a lot of songs. LOL
Watching you listen to this for the first time is like taking somebody to the beach for the first time.
I am 52 and grew up on this stuff. Daddy liked to rock n roll. He took me to my first concert when I was 8. It was Blue Oyster Cult.
Dude the live version they did of this is literally one of the best performances I’ve ever seen of any group.
You're right brother. You've found the GOATS! I listen to all the others, great in their own right. LZ is special, on another level. Check this out live, I think MSG, mind-blowing, life changing, epic!
No Quarter Live in MSG 1973, Jimmy has a monster solo. A must hear. Also Achilles Last Stand studio version will blow you freaking mind brother!!
some of rhe best of the best....HEAVY!
Don't stop it Bro!
Babe I’m gonna leave you is their next best song
Man i agree! It is overboard just like Since I've been lovin u.
Crazy music for late teens/early 20’s musicians.
Listen to the live version from 69. It's the best!
Been my favorite band for 50 years Rock on 🤘
Welcome to the rabbit hole that is Led Zeppelin. I'm 58 and have been a fan since a kid. Their music transcends genres from rock to blues (like you just heard) to rockabilly to metal. They did it all. Enjoy the journey!
Heartbreaker straight into living loving maid.
Great review
They also have a fantastic acoustic back catalogue as well, well worth checking that stuff out it's beautiful!
Jimmy P was fearless and delved into the realm of the abyss of soul, blues without abandon leading with his heart followed by his fingertips
Another British blues-based rock band is Ten Years After. My favorites are 1)Good Morning Little School Girl, 2) 50,000 Miles Outside My Brain, and 3) Love Like A Man.
you found your band. and its mine too. a deep rabbit hole!
Hey Van, you gotta check out their movie "The Song Remains The Same". It's live concert footage from their 1973 MSG show. Great stuff...but then again, everything they did was great stuff.
Yeah,I feel it, been listening to zep for 30 years.
This was recorded live in the studio with little overdubbing and I believe the guitar solo was recorded in one take. Led Zeppelin was considered hard rock/heavy blues however they played several different styles. They had 9 albums which means over 100 songs. Zeppelin has a very strong fan base so if you're going to dig in, we will be here.
*Well I’m going to keep that Led Zeppelin Poll going nonstop inside the Patreon. Clearly they have been giving me nothing but good ones so far. I’m excited Henrietta!*
How many more times, no quarter, the rover, ten years gone...I could just say their whole catalog, zeppelin is my favorite band of all time, no contest since I was little and my dad indtroduce me to them very young,, he is a huge zeppelin fan
Good times bad times, rock and roll, ramble on. Great songs by them.
They are 100% another level on their first 5 albums. 👽 🎸 🥁 🎤 🔥
Told you that you entered a deep rabbit hole! There is no way out! Dude, thank you for this!
Ok, you said it. The live stuff indoors is from a movie! Its called the song remains the same. It has theatrics that lend to each personality. There's also a back story to the movie about illegal shirts and pirate goods that happen at the show, in Madison Square garden. Good movie to sit and watch .
Glad the younger generation are finding out their back catalogue enjoy, "I'm gonna crawl" is a late rhythm and blues classic.
And you have found your band!! 😂 they’re so good because all four of them are masters individually at what they do. Jimmy Page is the one though, the mastermind behind it all I’d say.
70 yr old Zep Head and never left them.
Dig the rock star look. Try Achilles Last Stand.
Epic
This is music , and it help's to have a lil grass ect , to really get the feel , Not that I ever have :) Great reaction my friend ,, The Texas Gent
Gotta rock the Open shirt for Led Zeppelin!!!! 🎸
G.O.A.T...... one more song to prove the point!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Start with their first album and keep on going. You are about to embark on a mystickal magickal journey. HEADPHONES A MUST. Then, you need to check out their reunion tour London O2. They are in their late 60's then and still killing it!
The live version on the album " Song Remains the Same " is powerful and displays the band at its zenith when they were indestructible !!! MAGIC
It's nice to see you get what all of us crazy rockers have been talking about.
This is a MUST see and listen LIVE!!! Sooo much more to it! 💙✌️
Check out "Since I've Been Loving You - Live at Madison Square Gardens 1973"
It's just glorious!
This is my all time favorite LZ song, listen close in the beginning and you can hear the pedal from the bass drum squeaking I love that they didn’t redo that
YESSSSSSSS!!! Finallllllyyyyy! Finally I know that someone else heard that too! LOL those are those hundreds of infinitesimal little things that puts the polish on their music and stacks them at the top of all time. You'll never see 4 virtuosos in the same band again. Ever.
I love your reaction
Probably the most enjoyable reaction to Since I've been loving you that I've seen. So glad that you really appreciate the greatness of this band. Loved the church/gospel comparison v funny. I'll now subscribe. Keep up the good work.

Just want to thank you for lighting up my day! Not only have you re-ignited my long held love of Led Zeppelin but you have made me smile on a dull-grey-wet-day here in the UK (Norwich. Norfolk). You guys are making lock-down bearable. All power to you!
