I really enjoy your reactions, you 2 make a great tandem talkin' team, the duo of dialogue. Authentic and entertaining. Great to see so many younger people excited to be discovering for the 1st time the music that's been a big part of my world for over 50 years.Cheers & Carry On! 🇨🇦🍁🇨🇦

Trapeze- Black Cloud (seriously LFR FAMILY) React To! 🤘
Only problem with driving to this song is you can start speeding pretty easily without realizing it 😂
Same as Immigrant Song from How The West Was Won with that guitar solo lol
Yeah when that one part comes where it speeds up i feel like i want to overtake someone
So true with all of Zeppelin. I have to set the cruise.
It looks like a double of the same exact person in a video listening to a song in the car with himself. I was mind tripped by that because they look so much alike.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was looking for evidence of how it was photoshopped in
DUDE SAME lmfao. I was like nahhhh this isnt right
One of you has to shave the beard man! :) :) :)
@@vineflower LOL Maybe one could wear a different hat other than even matching up wearing beanies, like a big cowboy hat or something else that lets you know 'I am the other brother' right away.
Goddammit I'm 54 years old. I can't even tell you how great it is to see other humans get their faces broken by this music, like mine has been for all of my life. My fave Zep song, followed by every Zep song.
Roley-poley...
Agreed.
They're having fun with their genius. No auto tune. Just 4 masters great at what they do. Thank God they all found each other!
I grew up in the 70's listening to these artists and it's great to see you guys are starting to appreciate this incredible music. Keep it up my friends!
I don't know what anybody likes in music but I know what the soul likes and the soul likes Led Zep
Zeppelin whole lot of love
Led Zep drinking game: take a shot every time Robert Plant wails "baby baby!" :D
That Bass
My babies were conceived to Zeppelin!!!
bro....living the dream haha
Led zeppelin- how many more times
dude u just changed the reaction game with lil'van beside you....this is very entertaining.
*Patrick that means a lot Playa!! Thank you! I’m just trying to give my supporters something ELSE.*
😂😂🔥✌
Truth!!
I second this. Big time.
Awesome of him.
Yeah, we want more of this!😎
A Jonh Paul Jones song is "Trampled Underfoot"" (on keys)
The song was inspired by Howling Wolf`s "Killing Floor"
I'd forgotten how much I love this song. One of the greatest bass lines, as you noticed.
The best blues song ever is Led Zeppelin Tea for one ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
"One minute seems like a lifetime, baby, when I feel this way"
Do their song, "No Quarter" live in Madison square garden 1973.
Yes!!
The bass ,drums and vocals were all recorded in one take
Led Zeppelin was so legendary, best bass in the business
Robert Johnson says mentions “Squeeze my lemon ‘til the juice runs down my leg”originally recorded in 1937. Original Blues at it’s best!
Love this song, so funky, so dope, and that base line knocks me out every time I hear it. Thanks Bros playing and reacting to this. It was really fun watching your reactions.
He should have listened to his second mind. He was thinking with the wrong head, now he in a trap!!
Mini Van learnt the intro quickly bruh!!
Nice interactions between you two.
Best bass line EVER recorded in rock and roll.
There's a lot of great groups out there but there's only one Led Zeppelin.
Both Jimmy Page and JPJs worked as studio session musicians in London before Zeppelin and played on a lot famous recordings from the 60s. JPJ did a lot of their arrangements with Jimmy Page once saying that he was the most musically gifted member of the group. Nice reaction with you and little you.
*You are what my Patreons would call Smart Asphuck! They even designed my Merch saying it! Thank you for being Dope!*
John Paul Jones Idolized James Jamerson, Motown's finest...
James jamerson was awesome!!
James Jamerson influenced a lot of bassists , including John Paul Jones and myself. James Jamerson and John Paul Jones, Donald 🦆 Duck Dunn, Tommy Cogbil and Bob Babbit influenced me.
First 2 albums were mostly blues rock tracks. Definitely check out “How Many More times” off their first album. Great journey!!
Truly enjoyed y'all's reactions. Truly love Led Zeppelin.
One of their MOST appreciated songs and they had a gazillion! Solid Reaction!
I heard this as a teenager 40 years ago so its an old well loved classic to me..part of my music library for decades....to see the reaction of you two made me feel like a teenager again and the appreciation and insight-fullness of your reaction made my day. Keep 'em coming...VERY refreshing.
That's why it was called The Lemon Song
Thank you I love it
I LOVE y'all so much! I purposefully seek out your reactions and always walk away smiling! You've no idea how y'all, by sharing your love of music with us, affect the ppl listening in. You make this sad girl smile. Thank you
*You are amazing Caroline. Consider stopping by the Discord sometime so we can rap. Thank you for being Dope.* 🖤
Led Zepplin....
Over the hills and far away
This is smoother that D'yer maker
Led Zep song suggestions: Ramble On, What Is and What Should Never Be, Across the Hills and Far Away
Good Lord Zeppelin can't go wrong with any song !!!!! Love them 💞😘 they were the thing in my teen yeasxim 64* yr old woman now but I can still rocknout lol lol 😆
This may very well be the best music reaction video I have ever seen! Creative and hilarious! WELL done Van!!!!
They definitely have soul first, and talent second. The blues is where they are at home.
The bass is ridiculous, all over the place!
JBL's main influence on bass is the great James Jamerson who played on most of the Motown records of the 1960's. Including, but not limited to Marvin Gaye's "what's going on". Check out the bass on that one. This track is one of the best examples of his funk and soul. As a session musician in pre-Zeppelin days, he was always called to play these kinds of tunes in England. He was the only one who could to it. Bonzo was also a Motown fan. It's so obvious. I'm so glad you guys listened to this one!
Congratulations!....
You have finally found My FAVORITE
ZEPPLIN SONG!
I played this EVERYDAY FOR YEARS! 😃😊🐱🐱😘🐱🐱😊😃😊😃😊😃😊😊😊🐱🐱
I’m watching and this is excellent entertainment. Loved how you did the side by side and acted like you were looking at yourself and talking to yourself. 🍻
*Hello Mr Famous Last Name! Thank you for being Dope Asphuck!*
@@LFRFAMILY unfortunately for me there’s no relation.
Absolutely..you can tell when it's the mighty zeppelin from the first note...my personal favorite
Love the family reaction..8:28..Priceless! :)
You two, the beanies, the beards in the car listning to Zeppelin - EPIC!
I saw a comment on this song in another video where a girl said, "I swear I was wearing panties when this song started."🤭 I saw Led Zeppelin in 1970, my first concert and first acid trip!🤪🤯 All the girls wanted to be with Robert Plant and all us guys wanted to be Robert Plant!💯 I'm almost 71 now and that concert is one of my favorite memories.🤗 So much fun to watch a new generation appreciating the music of my generation.🔥It was a great time to be young and crazy!😁❤️✌️
Very profound reactions! spot on!
If you want blues, check out " I can't quit you baby". Zeppelin played by their own rules.
Was that your brother there with you? In any case I loved both of your reactions to this fabulous old rock tune! Led Zeppelin was the best for tripping! Thanks for the memories!
The AMAZING ZEPPELIN!! Yes do No Quarter live from MSG!! Really different!!
0:42 KILLED IT 🤣🤣
Ready for, Tea For One by Led Zeppelin
Love it - listened to these songs all my life.
got no idea how u aint got more subs....I consider myself a review fact checker lol my brother u r top shelf !!
*I don’t even Know you, nor do I know how much of a Review Expert you are, but THIS MADE MY DAY*
These guys are the shit loved and still do for 50 yrs
travelling riverside blues has the infamous lemon as well. lol
This is another great reaction. Glad you’re doing zeppelin. I’m an old drummer and worship Bonham. I named my dog after him. If you enjoy Bonzo then listen to Fool in the Rain. He plays in polyrhythmic with triplets on the High Hat ghost notes on the snare and a swung halftime shuffle on the bass and snare.
God that song is so good
@@Beofware its song and killer groove.
Toto’s drummer, Jeff Porcaro said he used Bonham’s shuffle for his hybrid version “The Rosanna Shuffle”.
I've been wanting someone to react to this song LOL You guys did it ! You two made me laugh my ass off !!!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it April with an "E". First time I've seen that. DOPE.
Need to get mine van a phone book to sit on, lol. Great reaction, guys!!
Loved your shocked eyes in unison.
7:15 Bro!!! Who is u waving at,lol. Literally crying over here. Amazing stuff man. So much fun✌
"Minivan" 😂 And that double-take at 8:26 🤣🤣
Dazed and confused, think you will love that song. Up there with my all time favourite Zepp songs.
One of their best songs. Once again you show us why this is the best reaction channel. Y'all play the best music. Keep it up my brother.
If you haven’t watched an interview with them you should. You see their personality in the music.
This song is a bit of combination of several blues songs. Robert regularly would improvise bits and pieces of different blues songs. The fast parts were known as a "rave up" and were meant to get the audience grooving. They consistently put heart and soul into their music to create almost an arresting affect; they grabbed hold of you and didn't let go.
More like BLUES ROCK!!!
A lot of their earlier songs were remakes of old "blues legend's songs"!
Back then nobody sounded like Jimmy Page's guitar playing! No cap!
Most of the blues artists got the scream and energy from their upbringing in the black church. It was the foundation, later adapted to blues etc
🍋 Song. A double entendre. Am I drinking too much right now or do I see doubles here?
Howlin Wolf on steroids
There is no better than Led Zeppelin!
If you get to singing this in your church - let me know I'm flying over to see that shit!! Lol. Pure funky on the Bass by JPJ. you're reaction to the chorus line - priceless!! ...pmsl.
I love how this song showcases the talents of each band member in a unique way. The time signature changes, the funky flow, the lyrics... all of it is a groovy flavor of genius.
Love this reaction. Great work with the mini van! Keep it up, brother!
Fantastic reaction!
Smiles, stank face, robot, great commentary, this is totally infectious! Loving the reaction. You got a subscriber now.😍
Best reactions ever, just love your expressions❤️
Had to listen and watch this again van you are hilarious man😂 to cool. Never a dull moment around you. I miss their creativity, we never knew what the next album would produce but we knew it was worth waiting two years for. Jimmy didnt like doing quick albums.
Man this was an excellent reaction between you and lil'van riding with the song. I agree with one of your other subscribers that this concept is a game changer. If you like mellow Zeppelin give "Hey Hey What Can I Do" a ride.
For a little funky driving music, check out Trampled Underfoot.
Loving the cruising reactions. In Iowa, we do a lot of cruising back roads. Keep up the great reactions😁
You guys be careful driving while listening to zeppelin.you two are priceless as well ,love from Britain 🇬🇧💙💎
Gentlemen, it's such a pleasure to see how you hear and appreciate all the details. That what makes you special. You guys are locked in! You hear all the soul and the feeling ... 'cause you got soul and feeling! Keep on chugging! As a die hard Zep fan .... I would strongly recommend either "Whole Lotta' Love" (studio version), or "When the Levee Breaks" both are absolute killer and feature all the guys beautifully!
My Favorite Zep song. The Way you did it Before and after, Never thought of that Ya Man
Just a laid Back Song
John Paul Jones bass is fabulous on the HowMany More Times track 😉
This is a brilliant use of the screen of green. Lil’ Van had me cracking up.
Shout out to late great Robert Johnson. Plant is spitting some lyrics from the traveling Riverside blues on this gem.
That Bass.
Haha you are becoming a Led Head. You are spot on and I appreciate that younger new fans are just as blown away as I was I the 70’s. Timeless music. The greatest band to ever grace this earth
This song is quite simply baby makin music...
You guys are great, love your reactions, & my wife loves your smiles , thanks gentlemen
My, man! Comin' through. This joint and this band is a Tokyo parking space, dogg!
Turns out I'm having a bad week but you two make my day!
LZ are the GOATS! Dazed and Confused!
that opening cracked me up, you two driving down the road head banging, could have been me in the 80s
I could play the drums to that bass line all night long
I'm 71 and first sawZeppelin in Toronto in 1970. So give a listen to "No More, No More" Aerosmith and "Stone in Love" Journey.
Bruh that has to be your brother yall look like twins!
Jimmy page was a huge session musician in the 60's and he got bored with it so he joined the yardbirds. Jimmy page's band was breaking up 1968 so he decided he wanted to get a new band together to create the sound he was hearing in his head. So he knew John Paul Jones from his session days and Robert plant was singing in a local band when Jimmy heard him and immediately wanted him to sing in his band, Aswell as John Bonham who was in the same band as Robert. They hated the idea of being sell outs so they never put out singles even when the record label insisted because they felt you should listen to all of it or none of it because it was a package.
Jimmy page was the mastermind behind it all, mixing, producing and paying with his own money for the whole of the first tour (money from his sessions) eventhough he was only 23 at the time. He is also widely considered the greatest guitarist of all time. Jimmy page was also fascinated by the occult but only the knowledge and never truly practising it, this is what many believe inspired Jimmy to write such haunting and mysterious songs. He also didn't talk much which gave his a mysterious element to him on stage becuase of his huge hair and double guitar which people loved.
Robert was never interested in music theory and was a through and through blues man.
John Paul Jones was a session player along Jimmy who also got bored with it and joined the band. He could play Keyboards, Bass and mandolin aswell as pretty much anything else but every guitar you hear on any songs by them is always Jimmy.
Bonzo was playing drums since he was 5 and was really inspired by the jazz and motown of where he lived in Birmingham, England near Robert and Jimmy. He took this style and made it into the original rock drummer sound aswell as inventing a technique with his footpedal that many still can't do today. He sadly passed away in 1980 after choking on 40 shots of vodka he'd had at a rehearsal.
The band released 8 studio albums not including a 3 hour film of their 1973 Madison Square Garden shows aswell as some fantasy sequences during the songs to demonstrate what inspired the songs. But many believe that their improvising heavy live shows are the they best they ever did with dazed and confused versions that are 45 minutes of pure Heaven sent music.
Led zeppelin I came out in 1968 and immediately changed rock forever going platinum in weeks and since then has gone diamond.
Led zeppelin II came out less than a year later and was pure Hard rock and blues and has some of their best rock/blues songs on.
Led zeppelin III was famously written in a cottage in Wales called Bron-Yr-Aur in 1970 which influenced the nearly entirely acoustic album other than songs like since ive been loving you and immigrant song.
Then the album came out in 1971 that would cement Led Zeppelin as the biggest and greatest of all time, that being Led Zeppelin IV and album with black dog, going to california, stairway to heaven, rock n roll, when the levee breaks and the battle of evermore. This album skyrocketed them to international rock god status. This album has now gone double diamond making one of ten of the highest selling albums of all time along side Thriller and Physical Graffiti)
They we immediately huge after the first album and were the first band to sell out entire stadium. Critics in England didn't like them because they were big in America but after the 4th album they gained worldwide notoriety and Rock God status.
By 1972 they were the biggest band on Earth even knocking the beatles last album off the top of the charts.
In 1973 they released another groundbreaking album Houses of the Holy which had only added onto their already unmatchable status and musical pioneership with new ways of recording never even thought of before hand and songs that are still huge to this day.
In 1974 they took a year off to start their own record label Swan Song where they were to release everything they out out from then on.
By 1975 they were back to touring and recording so they released Physical Graffiti a double album so good it brought all their other albums back into the charts (making them the only band to ever have 6 albums in the charts at the same time) this album changed rock forever (again) with its hard edged but still soulful songs like kashmir and trampled under foot. This album is one of 10 to go double diamond along side thriller and Led zeppelin Iv.
By 1976 Jimmy had gotten deep into a tragic addiction to heroin and it lessened his ability to write, being the main songwriter this was rough for the band. The rest of the band supported him the best they could whilst still selling out stadium around the world. It was this same year they released their 7th studio album Presence which was also loved world wide but had a slight dip in quality because the 'leader' (as the rest of the band agree he was) Jimmy was unable to give his all.
They continued selling out record attendances until 1977 when tragedy struck. Karec Plant son of Robert Plant had passed on due to a stomach infection back in England whilst Robert was on tour. This obviously called an immediate stop to the tour and the rest of the band publicly supported Robert by keeping the press away whilst he mourned his tragic loss. This took alot of wind of Robert in terms of the band and he reluctant to tour. Jimmy (still addicted to heroin) stayed close to Robert in this time and so did the rest of the band.
In 1979 They released their final studio album In Through The Out Door. It was a clear precursor to the more keyboard heavy 80s because of Jimmy's addiction meant he was less able to write guitar parts.
In 1979 they did a world record attendance comeback performance at Knebworth Park In England ( a gig so big it could be seen from space.) They played unbelievably passionately and it was a great return to form. They were back on top after 2 years away.
In 1980 they immediately went out on a world tour of Europe, America and parts of Asia when Tragicly John Bonham passed away in his sleep due to his alcoholism. The heartbroken band immediately broke up the band because they all agreed their was no Led Zeppelin with Bonzo.
Over the next few years they all stayed close but Jimmy page spiraled into heroin only getting clean in 1985 because he realised he would die if he didn't.
Skipping forward to 2007 Led zeppelin decided to reunite in a tribute to a dear friend they had lost. Jason Bonham son of Bonzo took the seat of his Father and they play the 100,000 people at the 02 arena in England. They played their hearts out with their best songs in a gig that lasted 2 hours. They were once again the biggest band on earth with nearly 20 million people trying to buy tickets.
In 2012 they released Celebration day the film of the 2007 concert.
Since then they have been content to leave the legacy of the biggest band of all time to itself.
That all you need to know about Led Zeppelin.
