This is heart & soul young man. I've been lustening to LZ since 1969. They adored the Blues music from 1920's through until 1950's, particularly Delta Blues. Muddy Waters, Albert Collins, John Lee Hooker, B. B. King were held in great esteem by LZ & the Stones as well as many other bands from the 60's & 70's. You'll be alright if you keep listening... Just let go of your inhibitions & let the music flood your senses. If your Gran could enjoy this back in the day then so can you Sweetheart - take a deep breath & dive into LZ ❤
Both versions are amazing for different reasons… but this album cut is masterclass for the ages. They’re different enough that it’s almost two separate songs!
You are spot on. it shows how otherworldly Led Zep were. When they had the talent to play the same song with a different spin and vibe but both equally mindblowing
It’s like when you take your first shot of really expensive bourbon. Yeah, this is top-shelf mate! So glad you found some of the best, now please do enjoy for the rest of your years and don’t forget to share with your friends. Cheers!
Imagine hearing this for the first time 50 years ago. It was freakin great!!!!!! Ramble On, When the Levee Breaks, What is and WhatShould Never Be, Dazed and Confused-- these need to next on your list. Then…. Allman Brothers- Live From Filmore East- Whipping Post, Stormy Monday, anything off that album actually
I was lucky enough to have seen them twice in concert.. they were mesmerizing.. Jimmy Page and his guitar and Robert Plant was pure sex appeal and that voice.. you need to listen to more.. the best ever
IMO the finest blues track ever in popular music. Seriously, dude, back in the day we would plop into a beanbag and take bong hits to LedZep, etc. This kind of music is what we were used to. I appreciate your perspective.
Part of me is glad I grew up with this stuff. Part of me wishes I could hear this again for the first time now that I can fully appreciate it. To have that visceral welling of emotion that you don't know what to do with....gosh that doesn't happen often, cherish it.
Robert Plant just expressed the pain that every man feels at some point in his life over a woman. You should check out 'You Shook Me' next or 'Babe I'm gonna leave you '
Thanks for reacting to my favorite band for over 50 years. I hope you'll just start from the beginning. If I just had to choose my favorite Zeppelin song, it would be this one. It is perfection. This is the greatest band ever, please don't keep us waiting long for more. I just subscribed to your channel. I always watch till the end, here's your blue heart! 💙 ☮️
Their first two albums are more Blues Rock, & each song is killer, other albums have Blues Rock thrown in. Two of my favorite studios only (sadly no lives), are first album You Shook Me. The other is Tea For One, from their Presence album. Please don’t make us wait, us long time fans love watching new to Led Zeppelin reactions, the greatest band to EVER grace this planet. These guys sure can do Blues with soulful passion, but are absolutely amazing at every genre, you will not be sorry if you delve real deep into them. Thank you so much for your reaction, I’ve heard many say about their faces hurting from listening.
Jimmy pages long ass fingers keep him searching for that string. And thats pages style. I like to say fumbling. But its his sound you wont find anywhere else. A guitar GOD🤘❤️ oh and he is the producer too
I don't like saying i have a favourite Zeppelin song but you will never grow sick of that song no matter how times you listen to it. In regards to your drug metaphor, I expect to hear another Zeppelin song very soon then lol. Try Dazed and Confused (studio version) whilst you are feeling drugged out.
Nice! This song kills every time you hear it, no matter how many times you hear it. 7:25 in, I could see it hit you. Nice. If you haven’t yet, check out “dazed and confused”. During the guitar solo of that song, you literally think it’s about to go off the rails and that Jimmy Page is gonna lose it, only to bring it back to the groove like you cannot believe.
Even though I'm a Boomer, I've always felt more aligned with Gen X..until recently. Now, I'm beginning to feel the I might just be more aligned with Gen Z. As for this song, it's one of my all-time favorites. I don't even know which song would be number 1 for me, but this is one of the contenders.
I fave favorite live performances, but studio versions, there’s so many great songs to number my favorites. The lives it’s the improvisation that makes it easier & certain concerts.
Great to see you reviewing the studio version. There's a lot of songs from the first four albums that are real bangers - my advice is stick to the studio versions first
If you have not reacted to the version of this song when they performed it in Madison Square Garden: You have really missed a performance.....JAW DROPPING!!! Have loved Led Zeppelin for almost 60 years, now!! But: that performance moves me to tears: EVERY....SINGLE....TIME!!! SO GOOD!! This is a rabbit hole, that: no matter WHAT SONG you pick to react to - you will not EVER BE DISAPPOINTED - I PROMISE YOU THAT!!! ENJOY!!
Keep in mind that the studio version is from 1970. The live version you watched was from 1973 and was at the end of a grueling tour. Plants voice took quite a beating in those three years…with 3+ hour concerts and constant touring. His voice remained great throughout Zeppelins run….and he’s had a 40+ year solo career….but the otherworldly power and range that he had in 1969 could not survive the demands placed on it and he had surgery…I believe in 1972 because he damaged his voice. 1973 sounds AMAZING……until you hear him in 19(9 or 1970. Which is what you just did. It makes you gasp.
Love that song! Have the lyrics tattoed on my arm in memory of my sister who introduced me to Led Zeppelin when I was young in the 70's. She was 10 years older than me. 💙
Jay, do you really want your mind blown? Check out “shine on you crazy diamond” by Pink Floyd. It’s off of “wish you were here” album. Parts 1-5 AND 6-9. They are 2 different tracks. It is a tribute to their former band mate Syd Barrett who died. It is a masterpiece.
I'm 70 years old and just wanted to let you know...real music can make real men emotional. 😊
Once heard you'll never forget them. They are the greatest.
This is heart & soul young man. I've been lustening to LZ since 1969.

I've seen men cry, when hearing this song for the first time.
Check out the live performance at MSG, 1973.
No computerized instruments and no autotune vocals. Real musicians playing instruments and one of the best rock singers in history.
The best rock singer ever!!
Both versions are amazing for different reasons… but this album cut is masterclass for the ages. They’re different enough that it’s almost two separate songs!
You are spot on. it shows how otherworldly Led Zep were. When they had the talent to play the same song with a different spin and vibe but both equally mindblowing
The best version of one of the greatest songs of all time. Well done!
It’s like when you take your first shot of really expensive bourbon.
Yeah, this is top-shelf mate!
So glad you found some of the best, now please do enjoy for the rest of your years and don’t forget to share with your friends.
Cheers!
You're in the club now darlin. ❤😊
i think what this young reactor means is Led Zep can be overwhelming
i suggest to check out any and all Led Zeppelin Live stuff cause they're the greatest band ever but always check out the studio versions first.
Led Zeppelin is the sexiest band their ever was in my opinion. 💙 This brings me back to my youth and I'm loving your reactions to them!
There are so many levels to led zeppelins greatness .. keep going
My favorite band since 69
Thanks for the Led Zeppelin
Page's perfect solo.
That song WILL bring you to tears.
Love to see physical, visceral reactions to excellent music!! LETS GO!!!
I was lucky enough to have seen them twice in concert.. they were mesmerizing.. Jimmy Page and his guitar and Robert Plant was pure sex appeal and that voice.. you need to listen to more.. the best ever
They were this good all the time.
Yes they were!
73 and still love their art.
BOOOOOOOMMMM!!!!
I’m in my 70’s and grew up with Zeppelin. It’s great that young people appreciate this music but check out any track from the first two albums.
Yeah man. What a time it was to be alive, young, and into rock music. Cheers mate
IMO the finest blues track ever in popular music.

Studio version knocks spots off the live version 🔥🔥
Nobody does it like Zeppelin!! Yes do the live 1973 msg one!!
My be all, I love this band!! My favourite band, you need to keep going. 😊
The look on your mind blowen face is priceless. Welcome to our world!
Wait till you sit down and listen to a hole album over and over and still isn’t enough!!!
Live at MSG! Great reaction and you're in for a treat, listening to LZ for the first time(s)!!
Robert Plant just expressed the pain that every man feels at some point in his life over a woman.
You should check out 'You Shook Me' next or 'Babe I'm gonna leave you '
LED ZEP was and still is my favorite Rock Band of all time.
Same...❤❤❤
I was 16 when LZ 1 came out. I prefer the studio versions pretty much every time. I fuckin love seeing young folks discover Zeppelin
Thanks for reacting to my favorite band for over 50 years. I hope you'll just start from the beginning. If I just had to choose my favorite Zeppelin song, it would be this one. It is perfection. Oh it’s definitely an “eargasm”
"it's an eargasm". I've never heard that one before - but it's 100% accurate😂😂😂
I'm glad you tried the studio version. It's so different (better, IMO) than the live version.
The best band that ever played.😎
Their first two albums are more Blues Rock, & each song is killer, other albums have Blues Rock thrown in. Two of my favorite studios only (sadly no lives), are first album You Shook Me. You hit gold! Zeppelin and Floyd for the OG greats……Tool for 90’s to now incredible prog metal depth.
Possibly my fav Zeppelin song of all time followed by Achilles Last Stand.
Led Zeppelin & Deep Purple❤️❤️❤️
Incredible
💙💙💙 Take breath. You're gonna be fine. ❤️✌️😆
Great music in the 70s
Don't rule out drugs, they're around for a reason. It's all about moderation. Great with this music.
Thanks brother !
Beautiful brother......
Just subbed for Zeppelin. KEEP GOING! Lots of great music in your future!

So true you never ever tire of hearing this magnificent song by this magnificent band.
They are one of the best blues based rock bands in history.❤ Don't forget Angelina. 😊
oh baby I would love to see you see the live version. .. it's amazing!
He did do the live version.
@@sicotshit7068 my bad I'm so sorry
@@hopeklemann1 no problem, I was just letting you know, I personally love the live version more.
@@sicotshit7068 me too but I should do my research before I make a comment, right? lol
@@hopeklemann1 just making a recommendation of something you really like, I wouldn’t worry about it.
New sub…..IF you continue with the greats of the 70’s, 89’s, 90’s rock. At least once a week.
i think you are ready for classic YES like Heart of the Sunrise STUDIO
Perfection

I am in no labeled generation. That's dumb.

It's awesome!
Yes more Zeppelin and if you like this then Pink Floyd is a similar vibe imho
Zeppelin is much better though
one shot by jimmy on this song
Also, if you like mind blowing talent. Check out 'RUSH'...'La Villa Strangiato live 1978'.

Hey my fellow Canadian... You said zed instead of zee, that gave it away... great reaction by the way.
Think he sounds more British than Canadian….
Rabbit hole entered!
You need a second to breathe? You should have lived it every day in the late 60s and 70s... We never came up for air.
Exactly! 64 year old here!
No kidding, especially listening to Zep, Stones and Floyd !!!
Great to see you reviewing the studio version. There's a lot of songs from the first four albums that are real bangers - my advice is stick to the studio versions first
I get it.
get ready for the ride dude....LZ crack attack!

Pink Floyd never wrote blues
Today's fun fact
For me, shine on you crazy diamond is the cosmic blues
Jay, do you really want your mind blown? Check out “shine on you crazy diamond” by Pink Floyd. It’s off of “wish you were here” album. Parts 1-5 AND 6-9. They are 2 different tracks. It is a tribute to their former band mate Syd Barrett who died. It is a masterpiece.
Squeaky pedal on the bass drum always distracts me at the beginning.
Oh this is great, such a beautiful song.
You need to check out Tool!
Start with The Pot and see what you think 😊
