Finally got the RPS Condor 150cc motorcycle from TX powersports, its a nice little bike. Out of the box it ran perfect, I do a 0-50 time and top speed run after building. Found a few issues like any bike I've gotten but it's to be expected. Missing bolts, loose bolts, loose connections. Have to go over the whole bike like a dealer would do! That's how you save money by buying direct and not going through a dealer, of course you could have the bike built at extra cost
RPS Condor tested performance, 12 second 0-50 mph, top speed 62 mph
Watch us Unbox, assemble and review this bike with my opinions on it along the way, good and bad. I make these videos so you know what to expect when you purchase one of these Chinese bikes, I keep it 100% honest with what I find. Assembly is about 1 hour.

Where do you oder theses bikes from I want one but I live in canada how do I order one can you send me contatic information
Purchase link is above through TXpowersports.
Tx power sports sells both. If given your pick would you go with Tao Hellcat or the Rps condor?
Condor is faster out of the box. I'd say condor. I had issues with motor mounts on hellcat.

I originally discovered motocheez 3 or 4 years ago while researching Chinese dual sports motorcycles. I have a winter place in Florida and thought Chinese bikes would be perfect to keep and store down there instead of trailering my bikes from Wisconsin. I wound up getting 2 Lifan xpect 200s, one for me and one for my wife, and I couldn't be happier. I find all your videos to be entertaining but it's videos like this one or the ones with you guys riding that I enjoy most. Keep up the good work!
Thanks! We should ride when I'm in FL
Riding with cheez is now on my bucket list.
Yes the 250cc lifan swap has been something ive been pondering for quite sometime now, primarily for practicing slow speed bike stunts but it'd also be great for general group riding Grom shenanigans.
don't you mean 200"?"
I bought me one a few days ago. Same exact color and everything. Love this bike!
Did you get it yet? If so hows it been?
@@St.FighterZ Love the bike, I use it to travel between 2 jobs. Always get waves and compliments on it. Pretty fast and fuel efficient as well!
Gizmo seems as excited about this bike as I am. Great to see a bike build video.
😺 he was!!!
I love the color (Honda, take note) and the angular styling. This was a great unboxing video to properly set expectations for anyone buying a Chinese bike-in-a-box. Pretty nice but expect to replace a missing bolt or two, tighten a few things and fix an intermittent electrical connection.
Thanks!
I’d love to see you review one of the “scooter” type of 150cc bikes... mostly for “inconspicuous” screwing around... dirt roads and stuff ect ect.... they seem pretty fast on the streets but, theres no practical videos anywhere
I did a few 150 scooters years ago, nothing off-road though. I have a Roma 150cc scooter in my container.
Remember Condor Man? I'd consider getting one of these but they're not CARB approved for California, even though condors are in protected here. Headlight assembly looks like a luchador mask. My cat Argento jumps onto my shoulder all the time and rides there around the house.
California sucks. Move!
Yeah, it's hard to find a good China bike that's CARB approved for California... I was wanting the icebear 300 but it's not approved for California either
Yeah, that stinks big time!
@@vharrald They are always sold out when I go look. Cheezy must have connections 😂
@@kevinnashskitchen3517 dats cuz Moto is da cheesiest
I can already tell that going to make a pretty easy big bore motor with the cg230 jug and piston. Plus all the aftermarket and performance parts for the cg motors. Time to snatch me up one of these.
I'm putting a CG 230 motor on it, because I believe the crank doesn't have as much of a stroke on the 150 so I already have a donor bike I'm going to use
@@MotoCheez understood. Well I do have a spare myself. I've been waiting for the one in my old Hawk to give out. Still running strong after almost 6 years.
My donor is Blades old TBR7, 6000 miles still going strong!
Great when Cheezy gives the overview of the bike with some Zamphir.
Love it! Happy to see you have another Mini... would love to see you build it out
Looks like a fun little bike. I like how it's a Grom clone, but instead of using the standard horizontal engine as all similar bikes they went for a smaller vertical engine like on the Hawk. I'd vote for switching the stock carb to a Nibbi versus jetting the stock unit. But that's just me. :)
I usually do both to see performance gains, plus people can choose which they want to do
@@MotoCheez There's a universal slip-on muffler made by LeoVince that I've been eyeing for my Hawk. It's not cheap, but it's also made of carbon fiber and comes with a baffle so I don't have to buy it separate. From the few sound videos I've watched of it on bikes it's very enticing. :)
I've hit 70 on mine with a 17 tooth sprocket, nibbi pe26 and full exhaust. It's a fun little bike but change your wheel bearings lol. My rear bearings went out after about 300 miles
I just ordered a 16 tooth front sprocket, rejetted the carburetor video should be out in a day or two. I do want to upgrade the carb but for now I wanted to do it jenning just in case others did not want to go a new carburetor out. I've heard of other China bikes bearings going bad, I haven't yet but when I do my knobby tires which came in I will definitely check them
I did do 64ish this time
@@MotoCheez I thought about re jetting the original carb but didn't want to mess with the tamperproof bowl fasteners
Just found the motocheez channel! I love it! I rode for years when I was younger but haven't rode in a little over a decade. Hopefully going to pickup a hawk 250 Enduro tomorrow if it looks right! Cheers
Awesome thanks!
Cheezy new bike Cheezy! Kinda makes me jealous, but then I remember that when I ride I usually do it horizontally and I don't feel bad at all.
😁👍👍👍🤣
@@MotoCheez By the way, Have a wonderful Father's Day Cheezy 😉👍!
Thanks, you too!
the oil in them are for shipping.you should change the oil on it.
It's not like the first oil, it's ok oil, I checked with them a few years ago. I always say change immediately, but I do at 109 miles to remove debris
@@MotoCheez I thought it was break in oil
It supposedly isn't. RPS contacted the manufacturer, they used to ship with a light mineral oil, they switched about 3 years ago.
Cool bike. i wish TX PS would have the bikes in stock when you post the videos. can't wait to see what the performance is after you do some tuning.
They should be in stock, they were!
Hi MCz,
It's been about 2 years since I sold off my last motorcycle after building my E-bike, anyway now that I'm retired the itch came back and I started researching appropriate way to scratch it, UA-cam is a great resource and very soon I was sucked in by the Honda MiniMOTO line and just had to have a yellow Monkey... but at +5G's out the door it would take lottery money to for me to hand over that much dough, so I began to look for alternatives.
I was very close to buying a KP Mini, but after seeing the success you had with the Condor I decided to buy one as there was about a $300 in my favor. Unfortunately your guy has sold out, still I was able to locate one at $1,988. Delivered.
Please keep us posted as to the mods, Thanks.
Subscribed.
I guys TXpowersports had only 10 in stock and they sold out in a couple days.. he says a month on new delivery ..
I will be doing more mods for sure, have recorded video of 98 jet and 16 tooth sprocket I have to edit, I am in FL for a few weeks so should be uploaded in a few days hopefully
Looks like fun. I'd love to go riding with you guys if you're ever in the Houston area.
Definitely
If it's true that he who dies with the most toys, wins, Cheez is definitely in the running.
I was thinking about building a scrambler out of a RPS Viper 150. I wonder if you could fit the Viper exhaust on the Condor?
Hmm. The frame is different on this, it's box not tube like my hellcat
@@MotoCheez If the head pipe fits, maybe custom on back. If you do an engine swap, how about the big 250 6-speed?
Yeah, I'd shoot around, see what's our there. Or buy a used china ike for a donor
Love to see a few episodes of you working on the Vette!
Building a motor for it, so may do the engine swap and update to then
@@MotoCheez I can't wait!
Too bad they can't figure out how to crate them so they're not arriving all dinged up like that. Sounded like it was pinging a little bit too.
MotoCheez the China bikes are getting quite good We have Braaap Motorcycle’s here in Australia good bikes good price I have a ST250 not a problem cheers Mick. Great site.
Agreed 👍👍
I was under the impression that the "factory oil" in these things is super light weight oil merely intended to keep the inside of the engine from rusting. Seen a few minibike channels where they say to immediately empty the oil and put proper new stuff in before running the motor.
Although maybe it's changed since then? I dunno.
That's how it was when I first started getting the bike 5 years ago, dealer contacted manufacturer and they said you can use as breaking oil. I do 100 miles then change
I ran that oil in my grom clone bike for like 10 miles the engine was smoking and smelled horrible , change it immediately . Just a quart
Definitely looks like it's got a small bore version of the hawk/tt250/Brozz engine.
Any of those 229cc oought to fit right in.
At basically $2000, I'd kind of expect FI on this. Especially since the Hawk DLX already has it.
That, and those floppy drooping turn signals are annoyances, but it seems like a solid bike!
Agreed on the EFI, but I like the carb for more performance tinkering.
Always love a new china bike. Its too bad that prices have spiked a couple hundred dollars, otherwise I'd already have a hawk
Yeah, prices almost doubled
Fuel oil furnace in your garage. Stinky. Love your video’s and info you put out. I’m going to try the Brozz recon this summer.
Furnace never smells. None of my oil furnaces have, guess I have good draft.
Thanks, they're great for the money!
Props to your "shop" cat.

One thing they say about all these imported bikes is blow out the gas tank there may be metal or other junk in the tank and to lock tight all your bolts and screws because sometimes they don’t come shipped tight, not to mention do it for your safety. I’m just saying. Have fun gentlemen.
Hmm, never had debris in any of mine. Yes, check the bolts! I prefer RTV for vibration on bolts
Sweet another cool bike to watch an make me want again lol just sold my z 125 it was someone else's basket case got rid of it and picked up a Kawasaki ninja 250 tho but 150cc on a brand new with scratches included man it's tempting 😂 for real tho beating up my little z for 2 months was a ton of fun tho 👍😁 great vids
😂👍👍
If a hawk 250 will fit would be nice to see the EFI version on a small bike.
Yeah but too costly for all the parts at this point. I'd do carbbed
15:05 & 15:46 looks like the same fella. U didn’t tell us you done TV commercials. 😂👍
But a much closer match is
15:46 & 17:31 Those two could pass for Twins 🤣
Nice Bike I hope you ask the Powersports place for a new Front Fork & the Bracket and screw missing in the front also !
They're the same guy, and that's his dad that stopped.
TX is sending me a new fork
@@MotoCheez his dad @17:31 is the same guy in the commercial @15:46 you played in your video ?
Because I was picking with you the reflection of you in your mirror @15:05 I said looked like the same fella @15:46 and then when his dad showed up I said he looked closer to the fella in the commercial or was that even a commercial?
Ohhh hah!
Do you know if the locals in China use these bikes for transportation?
I'm not sure, but someone in the comments will say I'm sure.
I almost bought this bike but I went with the kp mini 150 because from what I can tell the kp is a ohc engine and I believe the condor is a pushrod 150 and I figured the cam would b more reliable
Yes, it's pushrod
But pushrods are less moving parts which makes them MORE reliable. That's why one a vehicle needs a reliable engine they usually go for an old proven pushrod engine because they're the most reliable design

I hear that
I was looking at those when I ordered my kp 150 mini, I like the seat , and wheels on the condor more, but the crf150 based engine on the KP is ohc instead of pushrod, I am about to order a 210cc big bor kit , race cam and head for my KP it should be pretty quick after that
I didn't realize the KP has OHC. That's a plus, that's a CB engine I believe
Yo Mad MotorHead. Were can I order the big bor kit & race cam from. For the Lifan KP mini.

150cc CG chinese engines are very durable and there are avaible piston kit and rings in the japanese brand TKRJ
I heard there are big bores too!
@@MotoCheez there are the supossed chinese "230cc", a cylinder kit with a 200cc piston but is crap, i took the measurements of the cylinder and the stroke and barely you get 176cc and besides the piston at TDC stays too low, don't recommend it.
Thanks for that info! I need a cg 250 then!
I want one next year! Torn between scooter or minimoto. Needs a rear rack for shopping and camping! tell me they give you an assembly disk or booklet-Ièm not a mechanic, I aspire to be one, but I want to ease into it.
They don't give you an assembly manual which is why I made this video. It's not really that hard. As for rear rack I couldn't find when I had to make one which is later on in the series
@@MotoCheez You seem very happy with the bike-I have heard many nightmares about the Venom Boom, it also needs many mods, like tha engine mounting bolts being half the diameter they should be.
@johndefalque5061 I'm happy with it. No issues with mounts like the hellcat horizontal motor, kept breaking bolts! Had to weld a lower bracket on
can't wait for the 2-fiddy swap, then a head-to-head comparison with whitey, the grom-eater.
😁😁

That engine sounds pretty darn nice Cheezy :D
Yeah it does!
Condors poop on their own legs to cool them down so don't overheat that thing. Cheez will be flowing! Swear to God look it up.

Definitely GPS verify the speed... my Lifan KP mini 150 the speedo is about 7 off so at 60 indicated, GPS says about 53
It feels close, but definitely will
I have one of these and I want to install a more stunt oriented sprocket on it. Does it fit grom sprockets? If not where do I look? And do you know how many teeth? Ty in advance for any advice. you seem to know a lot about these.
Yes, same as grom sprockets
The front looks like a bargain bin robo-monster mask, with floppy ears.
🤣
I wish I didn’t buy the 125 hellcat Vader but paid 1900 to make it run better then a grom
All these small cc bikes are slow! You do the ZS190 like I did on mine?
It seems that access to check and adjust the valves on this and the KP Mini are a bit of a job. What is your experience with this
Haven't done it yet, but seems same as hawk250, the plastic that has to come off is a pita for sure. I put a cg250 on it and did valve adjust before I installed it
I like the bike is it carb?
Wait only carbs have chokes?
Yes carburetor
Valves sound well out ,like to hear it after .03 on each
.003" they should be
@@MotoCheez" should "
....I love you r little 'katten'! ;)
I'd call it Gramps, since its grey and a little slower then Whitey
🤣😂😆. But whitey was slower when stock! We will see after mods
Given that the headlight face looks like a luchador mask, I'd go with ...... _EL CASEOSO CONDOR!_ ... the Cheesy Condor of Connecticut! 🧀😁👍
Haha. You're the second one who said looks like that.
I didn't know you had a pond. I think it's the first time I've seen it.
I've been done there a few times in my videos
You must have gotten one of the last 150's, they are sold out now.
Aww man!
About 2 minutes into it I couldn't take that music any longer.
👍👍 it stops
Happy Father's day moto cheez

Say cheez..o have a question does the condor have an oil filter and of so where is it located?? Thanks an advance...you have a video changing the oil???
No oil filter, has an oil slinger style which you clean every 10000 miles. There's a small screen too.
I didn't do an oil change video yet. But same as hawk oil change, same style engine
@MotoCheez appreciate it a great deal
Greetings my brother..say cheez how do i tighten my chain on the Condor?? Thanks an advance ☺️
Greetings, you have to loosen the axle bolt and then tighten the tensioners the double nuts on the back keep them equal and do about one and a half finger widths of slack on a chain and tighten the axle bolt back up
@MotoCheez thank you my brother

Hi MotoCheez, I'm looking for replacement parts for my sons 3 month old RPS Condor 150, its silver like yours. Parts needed: silver painted plastics, exhaust shield, rear axle w/ nut, we have had (2) exhaust shields fail off (loctite was used), we are on leaky tank #2, leaking at the seam. All I can find on the web are complete bikes and/or common parts that fit many other clones. So reaching out to you sir and the other RPS Condor 150 crowd. Thanks in advance.
Well damn, that's a lot of issues. Probably TXpowersports will have them.
@@MotoCheez ty sir ill call them monday
How fast is it
Out of the box, about 54. Jetted closer to 60
Is this better then the hell cat
IMO, yes. The Hellcat had issues breaking the frame bolts until I put another bracket underneath that I welded and bolted in, and the brake line I had to replace with a grom brake line. This engine has a lot more torque too
hi did try starting it with the kick to,I like the kick, and where can I get one and can I use western union, cool video like the cat ha.later
I did at beginning of video, battery was dead. Txpowersports.con sells them. Not sure if they take Western Union but don't forget to use my Motocheez discount code
Very enjoyable video!!! Love it!!!
Thanks!
How has the reliablity been? any issues over the last year? Wanting to buy one but having a hard time finding info on reliability on long term use and high mileage etc . Thanks
I ended up putting a bigger motor in it but not because the motor was bad, but these CG style motors go over 10,000 mi easily. I've done dozens of reviews on these Chinese bikes and the biggest problem is typically bolts loosening up, you rarely ever hear of an engine blowing
How long did it take to ship to you? great video cheez !
Took 4 business days! Thanks
Imma buy one and get a cg 300 or cg 350 liquid cooled motor for it and omg gizmos got lil legs
Nice! Yeah, He's a munchkin kitty
If I could trust my local drivers, this would be ALOT cheaper than the GROM that I want!
They're all kinda rough, all the bikes I've gotten had bashed up crates lol. This looked the best externally believe it or not. Pace trucking delivered this time.
Gizmo about to get first drive
🤣😅 yes!
You should call it "50". For 50 shades of gray. Get it?
Lol. Yeah
What gas mileage does it get??? And after a year how is it now???
With the 150 engine it would get about 80 mp gallon, I swap the engine for a 250 now
Why leave factory oil in for 100 miles,I’ve heard others say change it immediately
Because they used to put in just vegetable oil kind of stuff, but now in the last few years they put good oil in. I confirmed with the manufacturers and tested myself. There's no reason to change the oil that it comes with but I still use it as breaking oil and do it at 100 miles
@@MotoCheez thanks so much for your response,I truly value your knowledge sir,may I ask , between condor,kp mini, and boom Vader, which clone would you prefer???
I kind of prefer the condor or the KP Mini because it has the CG 150 engine it's easy to either put a big bore or just put a bigger motor on fairly cheap, it doesn't look like it's going to have the broken frame bolt problem that I did with whitey either
How do you like the condor? I was thinking of getting one as an inexpensive bike. I'm 6' tall 220lbs. Would this bike be ok for around town or look stupid small with me? Thanks Chris
It's a pretty good inexpensive bike, I'm 5'10 230 lb. It's the same size as the Honda Grom. I have people that I ride with that are over 6 ft that ride the grounds and these ground style China bikes so I think they look okay
@@MotoCheez I haven had all sorts of bikes from klr to harleys to 1000cc bikes. Just looking for a cheap reliable bike to putz around on as i do not have a bike now. Did the nibbi carb make a big difference? thanks for your quick reply
@chrisbollinger8107 That's a fun little bike, it's about the same speed as a Grom too so they only do about 5560 tops. The carburetor did definitely wake it up. And later episodes I did put a CG 250 motor on this bike which really woke it up!
@@MotoCheez was the 250 hard to install. I have seen them on ebay for $360-450. Are they the same size and same mounting holes?
@chrisbollinger8107 I have video on install. Hardest part was welding top motor mount. It almost directly bolt in
Is it necessary to have insurance and license plate of this bike?
Yes, you have to register this bike because most states anything over 49 cc's you have to register. Insurance depends on the state. If you live in Florida you do not need to ensure motorcycles but you must wear a helmet if you do not have insurance. You have to check your state laws

Hiya
Yo 2nd
What size is the carb? I was wanting to see if i could find this carb i like in the correct size
I believe it's a 26mm. I mentioned it when I removed it in video.
What does "it's no whitey" mean.
Are you saying it's not as good as the hellcat?
I'm just merely stating at this point in time before I get everything ironed out as far as jetting in a free flow pipe It's not as fast as whitey, it's definitely as quick or even a little bit quicker 0 to 50 but I don't know if it'll ever be as fast top end because of the differences in motors
@@MotoCheez reason I ask is I can't decide between the vader and the condor they are the same price
