Great idea .... Just hanging in the garage with Cheezy. Hell of a start to the weekend!
Looking forward to the speed runs. Thanks for the video it was great. Keep up the goof work.
Great video! I've been waiting for this one.
Excellent job.
Great wrenching, overcoming and fabrication on the fly. The American way. Good job.
Thank you for going tru the valve lash 🧀I'm getting my migican 250 ready for spring got 11,567 miles on it and she's still going 👍
@@MotoCheez For sure! 🧀My friend's we're nay sayer's when I got my bike in 2018 now there saying 😯 wow that's a good bike for the price.!
Dont even have these bikes but this is the video i been waiting for!! Badass man!!
I have a Hawk and a KTM 390. I love working on the Hawk. The KTM scares me. I’d much rather have the Hawk break down on the road. Love them China bikes!
Maybe that custom exhaust from motocult will fit it. Looks like a perfect fit for a Janus or a sg250 from Csc so maybe a good fit for the Condor.
Good stuff
so much entertainment and knowledge shared. just out for a rip!
Good swapArooski⚡⚡⚡⚡
love the videos 👍
CG has great torque for its size... I a Grom sized frame, yep. That'll be wicked. New off road billy goat bike.
303 aerospace protectant
lol, don't let that thing get away from you.... I talked to the X26 people.. and told them I would buy one depending on your review...
Dude, this is SOOOO cool! I've got a KP mini i want to copy you with, but with the addition of a big bore kit!
KP NOT so mini 300cc!!!
great
I got this swap done in like November or something, maybe December. Like you said pretty easy!
@@MotoCheez I took the original plates and cut off one of the mounting holes, put a radius on the part of the plate I cut, I removed both of the dowels on the frame the plate mounted to originally. I reused one of those dowels and attached the plates loosely to the head and loosely to the dowel, and rotated the assembly until it contacted the main square tube of the frame, tacked it on, removed engine and fully welded dowel to frame.
great video. now we need a small engine nitrous kit installed
either would be cool. and who cares if the motor blows. you can get them motors for a song and a dance
Nice!!!!!!
A good electric motor for them small bikes is the QS120, you can get the whole kit for $800 from Electro and Company..Mine goes 0 to 40 in 3.5 seconds, lots of fun..You have to do some fabrication, but nothing that you can't handle...I used a Coleman mini bike I found on Craigslist for $100..Got some better tires for it..Use a wheelie bar on the back sometimes, as that front end wants to fly..There are several UA-cam channels that builds them, I think one is called BLACK66, not 100% sure on that, but think so.. Nice job...I just got that Ride 1 Up Revv full suspension, I'm going to mod that thing out with a 5000 watt hub motor, you should try to review that one...
I saw some 4 speed electric motors that look like motorcycle cases that'll bolt in easily. Weighing all options
I heard some rumors a while back that the manufacturers of these china bikes were toying with a 400cc, this makes me hopeful they're close to that! Nice to know they leave room to toy around with these
@@MotoCheez I heard this early 2020 so I'm not sure if the rona shelved this with how strict things are there. Time will tell!
@@charlesalberti563 Rest assured, cheap chinese 400CC P twins are coming. We have them in Australia already so it's only a matter of time before you see them online for cheaper than that dodgy 'braaap' company sells them for.
What size handlebars do the bikes come with stock. I ordered some bars 7/8. Seem to be too small diameter? Thanks!
She's a little ripper !! 😉👌Went together a bit easier than Whitey did too huh ?
About the same actually. I welded a lower frame mount on whitey early on and had to rewire as well
30:00 That bolt pattern on the rear rack is the same as the 1st and 2nd generation grom. I think might have been able to bolt it right up if you did the fender delete. BTW, I'm building a stunt RPS Condor as a winter project. You can use the same sub-cage (12 bar) and rearsets as the 15-21 groms, but you can't use the cage. That original carburetor would never idle because there was no boot at the sleeve cover or whatever it's called. I replaced mine with a tunable PZ27 and it fired right up. Thanks for the motivation. I bought the RPS after seeing your unboxing.
Yes This rack was for a grum and the other ground cologne I have the hellcat. This did not bolt up like that I checked and removed underneath so that's why I had to make it this way
How you liking the RPS?
What rack is that? Been dying for one on my condor
It's one made for a grom or it'll actually fit on whitey but I just modified it to fit on my condoor, I agree it definitely needs a rack there's no storage anywhere. You going to have to fabricate one as far as I know I'm doing in my next video that's coming out today
Just bought 2 boom vaders, I plan on making one an off-road and the other I can’t decide if I want a race or stunt. 🤔
@@MotoCheez I was thinking of buying another and wanted to do this same swap. I’m nervous though, I’ve worked on cars before. But when it comes to bikes, I don’t know left from right. 🤦🏻♂️ I’ll be saving your vid to study on, thanks for helping a fella out!
Would This Fit On A Grom Clone With The Same Minimal Effort ? Really Want To Get A Clone Soon But Already Set On Upgrades. LOL
It would, but would take some welding, they make a ZS190 and 212 that will fit right on the horizontal grom clones. I have videos on it. Search "hellcat ZS190 swap MotoCheez"
motocheez you the only person i have seen ride both the zongshen 190 2 valve and the cg250. how would the 2 compare?
The 190 is a higher RPM engine so it has a little higher top speed, the CG 250 has more low RPM torque and less high RPM so it is better for trails and low end torque. Of course you can gear both accordingly but I would say the CG is better for trails and the ZS 190 is better highway And not as good on the trails
@CharlotteNCDroneLife-bh4uq with a lot of modifications it will. Not direct bolt in like CG250
@@CharlotteNCDroneLife-bh4uq 190 is a horizontal motor and the kp mini used upright motor. if u want to put a faster upright motor in your kp mini look for the 300cc ZS175FMN
Wonder what the height is compared to the CG250 engine? There is not much clearance to top bar when you put the CG250 engine swap
Hay motorcheese , venom motorcycles makes a 2000 watt electric bike that looks like the condor .
Doing the same swap on a kp mini haha
@MotoCheez no its not the same had to rewire for charging and trigger, also going to have to make bracket for the front. I think I'm going to get a kick lever like yours to see if that'll fit
Hey great another video, if anybody out there knows of a 650 v Strom 2014 Suzuki I'm needing one wrecked for parts, have a good day or weekend cheese
Sweeeet
If you're selling the original condor engine, please message me. I have a bike with a very tired 162fmj engine, I believe this would swap right in.
it has a kickstart why are you trying to kill the starter?
I'm doing both, I am kicking it while holding the starter. These are tough to just kickstart
Why stop there? Condor 1000cc.
Suddenly the condor is my favourite songbird. Sorry Raven, and Hawky. It even sounds like a demon :D
Make the other bike a 5,000 watt 72 volt electric bike😝😁
@@MotoCheez batteries at 50- 60 ah in 72 volt ain't cheap though. Could get dual 30 ah ones. Some powerful motors out there . peak of 15k watt should do 60 mph😂😂
@@MotoCheez the Recon bike by Cab Motorworks is all off the shelf parts.
15kw is like 20hp! I saw some kits that have gears and a clutch that mount into motorcycle frame. I inquired
@@MotoCheez The bike could be just plated as a motorcycle and get away with no paperwork changes
First
This was definitely the video we’ve been waiting for! Can’t wait for the fine tuning.
